Lance puts his head in his hand as he leans against the table, looking out the window. "I wasn't that sick..." Lance gets a bit of a sleek while continuing to look out the window. "At least the sea breeze didn't make my hair tangle and frizz." he looked over at her. "It was like golden seaweed."

Lance was not amused at the jest. "I am not a girly-man, and no I don't want any. I am saving what we have for food and shelter tonight." Lance resumes looking out the window. He notices how there are fewer humans than magical creatures. Great, now I really have to keep an eye out. Lance thinks to himself.

"Oh well, more for me," Ilana said, happily drinking the milkshake. She seemed oblivious to what Lance had noticed.

Lance shook his head. What are we going to do? Will we have to start all over here? And how the heck am i going to keep an eye on her in a place where every five feet theres something shiny? Lance thinks this to himself as they sit at the table. "So when should we start the job hunt? Today or tomorow?"

Lance thinks for a moment. "Why don't we try tomorrow. It's been a long day and I could use a bit of rest." Lance slides his hand down his face showing that he was tired. He turns to Ilana. "Sometimes I wonder at your seemingly endless energy..do you think it has anything connection to the shield? You do carry the thing around on your back all the time. Maybe it's like, absorbing the sun rays or something?"

Lance looks out the window again. "Well, no more milkshakes for you then." Lance starts to think about dinner. We are on the ocean.. I wonder if seafood is cheaper here... He thinks to himself.

Lance looks out the window again for the umteenth time and asks Ilana. "Why are there so many non-humans here? this will only make things more difficult." he turns to Ilana. "You know, I heard that 'city of the white sword' was mostly human. Why didn't we go there instead?"
