a nurse slowly knocks on zeros door and steps in with her head down, timidly she speaks "....ummm..um...excuse me, zero-san...i..um..the doctor has something to tell you..." she looks up to see zero doing one handed push up on the floor, in between breaths he says " yes..oh and can you please stop with the formalities...im just a regular person......ive been telling you this all week..." he stands up and yawns "so what does the good doctor want?" he asks as he sits on the bed. "um...well...zero-s...i mean zero, he has signed your rease papers, you can go back to your dorm and take it easy" zero smiles has he takes his coat off of the chair and walks to the door and smile" thanks, tell him ill take it easy untill these are completly shut" he gently pats his side with a slight cringe but smiles once more " oh and thank you for being so kind to me" he bows and slowly walks out of the hospital. the nurse looks on with a slight blush and is surprized by his kindness. life goes on as normal after that.

The paramedics rushed Seyla into the hospital's emergency room, doing everything they could as they pushed her along to keep her alive. A doctor quickly came to their side, requesting information so he and his staff could take over.
"Broken ribs and arm, a possible spine or neck injury, severe blood loss, and a concussion. Victim was involved in the star tournament, suffered numerous injuries throughout her body, and seems to have some burns that are healing." The paramedic reported. The doctor nodded, taking all the information in. They'd have to stop the bleeding first.
"Someone hook her up to an IV, we're going to need x-rays and some ct scans later, right now we need to stop this bleeding" he announced, two others had flanked his side, taking over where the paramedics had left off. She was quickly wheeled to a room filled with equipment and tools as the doctor and his staff began to work rapidly. An intern suggested a blood transfusion but the doctor shook his head having none of it. Instead he searched for the internal source of the bleeding, soon finding it on her side. The bandages Kurai had helped her apply earlier were torn off, and cuts were carefully made.
The intensity went on for quite some time, all in all it taking them a good 15 minutes to stop the bleeding completely. In the end it was decided that she would need blood, and some bags were brought in. Testing revealed her blood type and they began to introduce the blood, hoping that her immune system didn't reject it. Her pulse had returned to a somewhat steady rate, and her breathing, although shallow was fairly stable. There was quite a mess to clean up but the good news was that they had saved the girl.
"Someone get her those x rays and ct-scans, I want to see the extent of her head injuries, and those broken bones" the doctor ordered as he removed his gloves. with a snap they were ripped from his skin, only to be tossed in the trash seconds later. The sound of swinging doors was heard signalling his exit. One of the techs nodded as he walked out and began wheeling Seyla towards the radiology department.
From there Seyla was in the hands of the x-ray techs. They were most concerned about the concussion so the ct scan was ordered first. Normally the radioactive element was ingested by the patient but in Seyla's case it had to be injected into her bloodstream. This would show up on the ct scan letting the radiologists see where the damage was. From this they could tell if she had a stroke, and what brain damage she suffered. But since it took a half hour to take effect, the techs rolled Seyla into one of the x ray rooms.
They first x-rayed her arms, the techs positioning them in different places to get different views of her bones. Once done with that they managed to x-ray her neck and back. It would have been a painful process if Seyla were awake, but fortunately for her, she wasn't. Once the x-rays were complete, one of the techs went to develop the film. The other brought Seyla to take her ct scans. She was placed on a machine, a long board held her body, where she lie flat on her back. From there the machine moved the board back under a "tunnel" of sorts. Here the machine took the images of her head, and it only took a matter of 30 seconds or so.
Soon she was back on the stretcher and now being lead to a hospital room in the emergency room. There they hooked her up to various machines to help maintain her heart beat, and her breathing, as well as IVs to get her body some fluid. The techs (not the x-ray ones xX) frowned feeling bad for the girl. Worse was there was no one to contact. They had simply identified the girl as Seyla Hawking and there was nothing else. A call from a doctor pulled them from their melancholly state and the two girls dashed off to treat the next incoming patient.

( ... Umm... I don't know anything about doctors, so I'm going to... Attempt to use some of the medical terms, um... >.> Yeah... )
A couple of doctors and paramedics quickly rushed Makie into the emergency room. The paramedics were a bit confused with all these patients coming in because of the Star Tournament. A doctor came to them, looking down at the brunette and then to the paramedics. He asked them immidiatly what happened to the small girl.
"Severe blood loss, a head injury, collar bone injuries, a bullet to the stomach several cuts around all of her body, something was damaged in her vocal cords and..." The paramedic trailed off, causing the doctor to lift an eyebrow. "Her nerves were some how torn apart. Some of them at least. And they were ripped on the inside." The doctor wondered how it could have happened to her, but when the paramedic mention Star Tournament, it was all he needed to know.
The doctor examined the girl's cuts, taking in all the things he would have to do. Then they took some ct scans, some x-rays and then he determined what they would have to do to heal her. Like the first patient that they took, they had to find out her blood type and introduce blood so that her heart wouldn't have to work to the extent of a heart attack. They determined that she would have to take cautions and not speak to much and not do a lot of stretches that could harm her body. As the bleeding may start up again.
Then the doctors rushed Makie to the surgery room, for work on her nerves. What ever happened to her, it was severe, and they would have to work on re-attatching the nerves. Naturally they would have used a drug to make the patient sleep, but Makie was already knocked out. Then, they worked on removing the bullet in her stomach. The process would have to be done quickly, but very cautiously. One slip could harm the brunette even more.
Next, the doctors addressed her head injuries. They were mild, but Makie would have a head ache when she wakes up. The girl would also have to stay in the hospital depending on how severe the injuries were by a few hours. Having finishing with all the injuries, they began to identify the girl. Makie Saiyuri, with only her grandfather alive in a distant town. Only known guardian would be Misty, who was arguing with the receptionist at the moment to see Makie. Transferred through several schools, and is a fifteen year old girl, active in gymnastics in dance that recently came to Ria. Other background unknown.
The doctors nodded and ordered the paramedics to move Makie to a room with the other Star participant, Seyla Hawking. About an hour after being placed in the room, the brunette began to come to. Her chocolate eyes opened to greet a white ceiling, white walls and white floors. She knew where she was but she didn't know how she got there. The girl, carefully began to sit up, only to fall back down on her pillow. Her stomach was killing her along with her collar bone and pretty much her whole body felt weak. The small girl lay there until she begn to feel her legs and arms again.
'How did I get here...? Wasn't I just fighting Dante...?' The brunette asked herself, finally bringing her body to a sitting position. The abrupt movement, sent piercing pains through her head. 'Owwww!' Makie thought to herself, putting a hand on her forehead. Then she just sat there until the pain went away. She was a little unsure of what happened. Well, she remembered putting up some mirrors, and Dante going all evil... But that was it. Makie also remembered her pendant, or her grandma, protecting her. Her small hands went to grab the pendant and instead, felt not even the chain.
'M-M-My pendant! Where did it go!?' Makie thought, before tears stung her soft eyes, and then making their way down her pale cheek at a slow pace. "Dante... He... Destroyed... It..." The girls voice was slow, meaningful, tear stained, and seemed very strained. The girl was astonished why her voice felt weird, and still crying over her pendant, began to wonder why she was in the hospital, what happened after Dante went demonic and pretty much intended to hack her to pieces, and why she felt weak.

Ligah was just starting to doze off when she heard a wheel rolling a girl into the operation chamber or something like that. Ligah stood outside the door listening to the doctors' muffled voices. When the girl was wheeled out, she held on to the ice pack on her head, trying to be oblivious to what was happening. I think she'll be fine. Later, she saw the girl sobbing over...a pendant? Ligah sat down next to the girl's bed, Ah...A blood stained button on her shirt? What does it say here...Star Tournament? Holy Cow, I thought those stuff were for everybody...Ah, well. shrug it off., then said "Well... Your situation is kinda...unnerving. May I help you or something? I overheard you crying. Here, need something to eat? I found a cookie in my pocket.", smiling the usual smile she had on when she was, at least, trying to be helpful.

( Errr... The pendant protect her from arrow shooting over around her collar bone area, and I was kind of waiting for others to reply, but that's okay! ^.^ )
Makie still crying silently, began to look around. Her eyes wandered to the sleeping girl in the bed next to her. She knew the girl... Kind of. Well she knew the girl's name. Seyla Hawking. She was in the Star Tournament too. She looked in bad shape. Makie wondered what happened to her. She'd go over to the other girl, but she felt like a rag doll, unable to move on her own. That's when she heard the door opened.
"Ai...? Misty...?" Her words were once again chocked out as she sat in wait for the person to come in. When the person came in, Makie saw it was girl she did not know. She would have tilted her head, in asking who it was if it didn't hurt her neck. Makie's soft chocolate eyes followed the girl as she sat down. Her lips not moving to speak, as she blushed and turned her gaze away in nervousness.
When the girl spoke, Makie paused. The tears coming on again. She wanted her grandma. She wanted to go back home. She wanted to see how her grandpa was doing. He would know what to do about grandma, and prehaps Yuki, her friend from her childhood would be there. Prehaps she could train her powers better over there that way, grandma won't have to worry about her losing control over her powers again.
Finally deciding to reply to the girl, she glanced back in her direction, and slowly shook her head. To much dismay, it hurt, even though when she shook it, it looked natural. Then she glanced away, her pale faced still had a thin layer of blush on it. Still nervous around the new girl. She was nervous around every one though, so it wasn't something new. Makie then felt like laying back down in her bed and taking a nap, but she was awake now, so it would be useless to try and fall back asleep.
That when Misty burst through the doors of the room, rushing over to Makie. Her sky blue eyes were filled with concern, and her usual cold expression was now replaced with worry. The older woman hugged Makie, then sat on the edge of the bed. Looking into her chocolate eyes, causing the brunette to blush even more.
"Makie, you didn't have to push yourself like that! Especially through all that pain! When you feel pain, let it show, don't hold it in!" Hints of coldness were scattered through concerned Misty's voice. It was then Misty took notice of the other girl standing there. Her expression returning to it's normal coldness. She smiled slightly for a few moments before it faded. The midnight haired girl didn't know her, and already met about five billion new people, which wasn't something that she liked.
"Hello..." Was her simple greeting to the girl, the coldness stronger. This was normal for Misty to be so cold. Then Misty merely got up and walked out the door to stand guard. You could never be too cautious, especially in a hospital. Once Misty was outside, Makie turned her gaze to the new girl. "S-S-Sorry..." Those were Makie's only words before she looked down, still crying silently. Warm silent tears running down her cheeks.

He walked in after wandering the halls for about ten minutes. He was wiggling his finger in his ear, still trying to get some of the dried blood out. He sat down in a chair, waiting to be looked at.
He couldn't sit comfortably with is sword strapped onto his hip. He stood up, unbuckling the belt that held the sheath. He sat back down in a smooth motion, placing the rapier across his legs as he sat. He could have gone for another cigarette right about now but decided against it.
He leaned back, resting his head on the wall behind him. He closed his eyes and tried to find Scytheress. The energy link that he used to have with her, telling him where she was, had just deteriorated. She was gone to him now. As restless as he was no, he couldn't leave. He would have to try and find her later.

"Get Out of my way!" cried an angelic voice which came from the ever-so-slow Ai, but she can be smart, in her wierd ways. Ai ran through the front hall, past the desk person, Ai turned her body and shifted through a hallway. Ai is pretty fast on her feet, that gives her an advantage sometimes, Hiro use to call her a female version of the flash. Ai doesn't care, when in doubt, she runs. Ai ran past a couple of nurses, they all placed their hands on their skirts so they won't flip up, they looked up and gave Ai the most dirtiest looks. Ai kept on running, though her tears were flying through the air. She was afraid for Makie, she didn't want Makie to suffer, but if Ai uses more pure energy then Ai would nothing to protect her. And it takes weeks for an angel to gain energy.
Thats when Ai felt a hand on her arm. Ai turned her head swiftly, ready to shove this person out of her way, not caring what happens to the nurses or rather the doctors. But Ai dropped her arm to her side, it was Ishoa. Ai weakily smiled and Ishoa let go of her arm. "Its not safe to run in halls, Miss Ai" he said.
"Oh! Oh! I'm sooo sorry!! I-I'm just afraid for my friend. You see my friend-she was in the Star Tournament-and and. I-I saw blood and I'm afraid. I'm afraid for the worst!" Ai said as she placed a hand over her heart with a large concern look on her face as she looked at Ishoa, all serious-like. Ishoa just looked at her, trying to hold back a laugh. He probably thinks Ai is funny whenever she tries to act serious.
"Ai, Oh Ai. Your friend is fine, she's just confined to a bed. Here, take this visitors sticker, you forgot it at the front desk. And I would hate it if you were thrown out. Your friend must be lucky that she has someone to look after her" Ishoa said as she handed Ai a sticker, with her name on it. Ai took it, and was rather surprised that Ishoa knew she coming. How did he know? Did he had some kind of super powers that she's not aware of? But once she looked back up, he was gone. Ai just stared in awe for a few minutes. But then she remembered something, Makie! Ai tightened her grip on the sticker and ran for it again, thats when she found one room with a small brunette inside, and there was two other people. They were some girls AI has never met.
"Makie-san! Makie-san! Makie-san! Are you okay?!" Ai said as breathed in and out in a rough pace, and placed her hands on her knees as she tried to capture some pure air through her nose. Ai's soft lovely lavender eyes looked at Makie, she looked so worn out and tired, but Ai was relieved. At least someone close to Ai wasn't taken away by death. Ai would hate that. With a weak smile, Ai sat down on a vacant chair and continued to breath in and out, only thats when Feena came in. Feena didn't look red to the face, Feena rather walked the whole time, and she knew Makie lived. She can smell it.
"Makie, does it hurt? Your injuries? Do you want me to heal you?" Ai said as she looked at Makie with pure concern. Feena looked at Ai, she could tell Ai was getting pale, the angel was losing energy. Ai needs to stop acting so gracious and nice, and needs to learn to look after herself and others.

Misty stood outside sighing. She was just glad Makie was okay. If you wondered why she left the scene so early, it was because a single tear went down her face the moment she went outside the door. Yes, even she had feelings, she could cry. If she didn't cry, it would mean she was un-human, and Misty, even though sometimes it looked like she wasn't, was a human. She felt pain, and she cried, and she even felt happiness even if she looked like a cold shell. Misty was just afraid to open up to some one.
That's when she wiped away the tear. Misty didn't want any one to see her crying. She didn't want a person to stop and ask if she was okay. The girl then let out a small laugh. Thinking how stupid Makie was. To just even continue on with her battle, and ignore the pain. It made the midnight haired girl worried, and it made her sad, to see her friend in such a terrible shape. Blood and tears stained her body, and both sorrow and hate stained her eyes.
Why would Makie take such risks and push on like that? Well, she wanted o prove herself to her older friend. But Misty didn't believe that was the reason. A reason like that wouldn't drive her to push pain away like that. A reason like that would make her go through the first round, but fail near the end, Makie went to the second round, felt pain both physically and emotionally, and inside she looked like a rag doll that couldn't move or speak at will. When Misty went in battle, her reason to win, was to protect Makie, to protect her friend from pain. The older girl wanted to protect her younger friend's smile. It was corny, yes. But they were like sisters, and that's how close they were.
That was when Misty heard the most un-godly cry from a certain girl. She knew the cry came from Ai, and she smacked her forehead as she sighed. She knew why the angelic girl was here. Ai wanted to see Makie. So, Mist waited. Knowing the girl, she was probbly fast, so she might smack into the door with the rate she was going. It made Misty smile on the inside that Makie had such caring friends aside from Misty. On the outside however, she'd probably playfully hit Makie over the head if she mentioned it.
That was when she heard Ai turn the corner. Misty opened the door and let Ai fly in through the door all dramatically. The older girl followed in after, letting all her emotions slide by.
Now. Meanwhile, throughout the whole time Misty was out there, Makie was sitting in the bed just crying. Her back was curcled, and her shoulders were hunched forward as she curcled her body into a ball. Her small, bare and bandaged up arms rest on her legs as she cried. Some would say she was making a big deal over her pendant, but... She couldn't stop crying, she wanted to, so she didn't look like a loser, but the tears kept coming on silently. If she told herself to stop crying, she'd cry harder, and when she told herself to smile, she'd frown. It was like everything she told herself to do, the opposite would happen.
That was when she heard the door open, hard and fast foot steps, and... A girl's voice. Ai's voice to be exact. Makie slowly looked up, hearing her name, tears still going down her face. Her vision was constantly blurred by tears, but she could see Ai walk over and sit in a vacant chair. She heard Ai's questions and slwoly shook her head. Her lower pink lip quivered and tears came down harder, as she looked at her. "I... I-I... Want... Grandma!!" She chocked out the words, looking at Ai, clasping her hands over her chest and standing on her knees to be level with her friend's eye level.
"I... I want grandma!!" Her words were harsh, and strained out, but clear and hurtful. It also hurt her to move so quickly to face Ai, and take her hands into her own. Her chocolate eyes looked into her lavender ones and asked her again, crying harder. "I-I-I want my grandma!" Her words were filled with pain. She was being so selfish now, but that's all she wanted. She felt like half of her was destroyed. Her only final link with her grandmother was the pendant. Of course, Makie was in physical pain, but she didn't care. She wanted her grandma back.
Then, sinking back down from her knees to her butt. Makie let go of AI's hands and fell to her side like a doll, who fell when their owner let them go. Her head hit the pillow, as she cried out grandma non-stop. Misty looked away. She could understand why she was acting so, and it kind of hurt Misty as well to see her friend acting like this. "Makie..." Misty began, the brunette still saying grandma. "You shouldn't be so selfish. She's been gone longer then the pendant has, so why are you acting like this now?" Misty's voice was cold, but I suppose you could faintly hear the concern on her voice.
"But...! I... Saw grandma! S-She... P-Pr-Protected me and... N-Now... She's... Gone!" Makie cried out again, crying harder into the side of the hospital pillow. Sho felt so sad, angry, and drained. The small girl knew that Ai was purely concerned for her, and she knew she wanted to help, but her personality, still resembling that of a child, wouldn't let her stop feeling so selfish. "I... Just want... Grandma..." You could tell it was hard for her to speak, but she was pushing it, because all she wanted was her grandma.

Ai felt a sudden jerk of her hands, Makie took them, like she desired to want to know that someone was there for her. Or, that she so desperatly wanted to see a certain someone, which Ai couldn't blaim. When Ai got hurt, she so desperately wanted to see her father, but he isn't alive anymore. He disapeared without a trace, so Ai, Feena, and Hiro never knew what happened to him, not even Ai's mom. Oliver never met him, but sometimes he wished he did.
Ai's lavender eyes watched as Makie started to speak a few words, and they did not sound soo soothing. Makie wanted her grandma, but Ai had a feeling that Makie's grandma is deceased. Ai's lavender eyes widened as Makie cried more and more, like a small baby wanting its toy or something. Ai didn't know what to do, but to let a few tears fall down her fair skin. Ai was crying because Makie acts so much like Ai use to, always enduring too much pain to bare.
"Oh.. Makie.. " was all she can say as she felt her hands being dropped by Makie. AI let her hands weakly fall by her sides, like she had no more energy to lift them. Ai just stared at Makie as she fell back on the bed on her side, like she was when Ai came in. Ai felt so useless right now, it made her feel so aweful, she didn't know what to do, she felt like everything was broken. Though Ai has tried, but she felt like she sunk so low.
"Makie.." she said as she slowly moved one hand over to Makie's head, but Ai hesitated and pulled her hand back as Makie cried the word "Grandma" over and over, like there was no end. Ai's head soon looked to her side, she couldn't bare to see her friend like this, but what was she to do? True, angels always know what to do and heal other peoples pain, but Ai, right now felt like the first time that she hasn't healed someone's pain. Even if its emotionally.
*** "Daddy! I want Daddy! Daddy!" cried a small lavender-haired girl as she rubbed her hands in her eyes, as tears stained her fair skin. She was sitting in a field of flowers as the small childs mother wrapped her arms around her little girl. The mother looked at her little child with growing concern, her soothing blue eyes watching her child cry her heart out.
"Hunny.. he's not here.. he's not coming back" that was all the mom can say as she hugged her child. The little girl turned her body and burried her small face in her mothers chest, as she continued to cry through the wind. The small child grasped a few pieces of the mothers shirt and tightened her grip.
".. Daddy!"
***
Ai looked at the wall in front of her face, she knew what it felt like to loose someone you love. Ai has lost three people, her father, her mother, and the real Feena. Ai felt like no one would understand what she's going through when she was young. She always loved her father, but has very few memories of him. She remembered when he use to call Ai his 'sunflower' and would always say that when Ai blooms into a women, that she'll be the most beautiful one of all. Ai as a kid would always say 'Stop it!' in that whiney kid voice. But, lately, Ai just wants people to know who she really is.
Ai let a few more tears stream down her cheeks, her fists tightened as she stood up. She took a few weak steps towards Makie, her lavender eyes looking down at Makie, like she was a low life. Thats when AI lifted her hand and then.. smack! Ai slapped Makie across the face. Ai bit her lip as a frown was on her face.
"Snap out of it Makie! I know you losed something dear to you! But stop acting like its the end of the world! No matter the costs, you got to realize that someone will never return no matter how you dread it! But you have to move forward, think positive, and for gods sake! Stick your chin high up in the air and relive those happy memories as you walk your path!" Ai said as she pointed her index finger at Makie, a rather serious face Ai had, like she was finally a guardian angel, but Ai is far from that. Ai then let her shoulders drop and sighed as she sat down.
"I-i'm sorry.. I-I just can't let you do that to yourself.. I know how it feels to loose something valuable. I losed my father, my mother, and my real sister.. I felt like my whole world crumbled between my fingers.. but I knew I had to move on.. and find better days to live.. I knew that their was something in the future.. I knew that somewhere in my heart that their is someone out their who needs my help.. I knew their was something I had to do with my life" Ai dropped her head, letting the long lavender hair cover most of her face.
"The average human life is 100 years, but for angels.. its unlimited. Yeah, I know, being an angel would be awesome. But the truth is, I envy you Makie. I really do. Ever since I was young, I've always wanted to be a human. To have a normal life, that sounds so wonderful to me. I hate carrying this burden around, these things! I don't know why I wished for them!" Ai said, she was referring to her wings. She thought she would be respected if she wished for wings since she was never born with wings, but instead, it made matters worse.
"Makie.. just be yourself.. I bet thats all your grandma would want you to do.. I bet the most precious gift your grandma gave you was a life. If she protected you.. she saved you so you can live." Ai said as her tears dropped the cold hospital floor.
"Just.. live!" Ai said, but her words were muffled with her constant crying.

"Grandma!! Grandma!!! Guess what!!?? Grandpa said I was picked to do this big dance routine for billions of people next week!" A small little child rushed into a dark room, with her gymnastics suit on. A huge smile was plastered over her face, but it faded when she realized all the lights were turned off. Where was her grandma? Why were the lights out? The small girl felt around the walls, trying to find the light switch. Seemingly, everything began to be consumed in the darkness, even this memory began to fade... Then her small delicate fingers soon hit a light switch. A click, and the lights came on.
Makie turned around, smiling very happily, almost a grin. That was when she saw something that made her burst into tears immidiatly. Her grandma, lay on the floor, barely breathing. The girl's small body rushed over to her grandmother's body and began just shaking her grandmother. "Grandma!! Grandma!! Grandma!!" Her voice yelled out causing her grandfather to run in.
"Gwen!" Makie's grandfather called out before rushing out and calling the ambulance. Later when she was being carried out on a stretcher, Makie stood by her side, crying like there was no end. Her grandmother smiled weakly, holding out her hand. Makie took her grandmother's cold hands, to feel something drop into her small hands. She looked down to see a pendant. The small brunette looked up, tilting her head, wondering what it was.
"Wear this... This pendant always... It is... There to... Protect and guide you..." Her grandmother said, as weak as one right before death. "It will help you... And it is a... Sign that... I'm always... With... You..." The old womans hand dropped immidiatly limp, her chest not moving, no pulse could be found. She had died. Makie put on the pendant, and clutched it near her chest, crying and screaming out, demanding that they make her grandma come back.
Back to reality. Makie heard footsteps, she could see lavender through the thicket of tears in her chocolate orbs. Makie cried like this before. She cried like this when her grandmother died before she died, and when she found her parents' limp bodies. Her parents, that she knew, she killed. Like Ai and her father, she had few memories of her and her parents, but her and her grandma were close. That is why she was crying so.
SMACK! She felt a hand impact with her pale cheeks. A red mark where the hand had hit began to form. Makie's vision was slowly becoming clearer, as the remaining tears fell from her eyes. She'd move her own hand to touch her cheek, but she had no strength left in them. She'd used it up on just trying to get on her knees and take Ai's hands. Makie was now just a doll. The blankets were messed up and laying lightly upon her small frame.
Makie listened to her friend closley. Tears came down her cheeks slower, as if everything was in slow motion. The words themself also reached out to slap her across the face as well. She wanted to talk back, but the words, they just wouldn't come out. Like if she opened her mouth, no words would come. Instead, she rebelled on the inside. 'But grandma!!! She's gone, and I want her back! I know I saw her in my battle! She's alive some how!!! I want her back!!' Her childishness and selfishness was frowned upon, but she had not grown up fully yet.
That was when Ai sat back down in a chair. Makie just watched, as if she was a cloud, looking and watching what was happening, but never doing anything to interfere with the people's lives down below her. She listened to Ai, and began to cry again. For her grandma yes, but also for Ai and her past... That's when Ai described angel life. Misty winced slightly, listening to the cold hard facts of an angels life. But Makie, just wanted to cry.
To live forever, is like Purgatory. It's like death, but slower. To live for an eternity is terrible. All you can do is sit and watch with the same appearence forever, while your friends grow old and die. You could just watch the world fly by your eyes, and no matter how old you really get, you'd probably be trapped, living the same life over and over again. That's when Ai spoke words that she once told Oliver.
"No, Oliver!! Don't say that! I-I... Even though y-you killed you're p-parents, I-I'm s-sure there was a reason! I'm sure it was something y-you had no control over! And, I too, am a sinner for killing my parents, but you shouldn't think of yourself that way! You deserve the world, Oliver! The world! Don't say things like that, this isn't you!" The last few statements she whispered harshly, looking up. Tears were still flowing from her hazel eyes.
"I've... I've never protected myself, I'm weak. Misty was the one always saving me! But you know what, we're friends! She doesn't mind if I'm always getting myself in trouble, so I'm... I'm p-positive that Sakura forgives you! I know it!" Makie's tgrip tightened as she continued to stare up into his ocean blue eyes. "So, we might b-be weak, but w-we'll get stronger! We'll continue to get stronger the more we grow! So please... Please don't say such things. You are not a stupid boy who plays with his yo-yo!! You are Oliver!! You are you and nothing can change that!"
"So what if some people think you aren't a man!? I care for you Oliver, I care for you! You are a man to me! You are everything in the world to me! You make me smile and laugh!!" Makie whispered to him, crying the whole way. "You are Oliver Wonderland! You have two wonderful sisters and a great brother! Just because you did things wrong in the past, it doesn't mean you cannot strive for a better future! So please Oliver, just... Be yourself! Cry when you're sad, smile and laugh when you're happy and when you have something on your mind let it out! Because when you keep everything in, the person it's hardest on is yourself!"
"So don't say such terrible things you have just said because that isn't you! I don't care if you're a demon, I don't care if you've killed the whole world, I just want you... To be you! If God forbid that, don't care! Be free, be yourself!" She paused slightly, looking up at him. "If you want to prove yourself to be a worthy man, then be yourself! Say your sins, be aware of what you have done and then finally... Be yourself and do what you think is right for you!"
"Ai... I'm... Sorry..." Makie said weakly, attempting to move for a hug but with no success. Stupid wounds... She can't move and can hardly talk. Might as well sleep. She wanted to do that, but Ai and Feena were there... And she didn't want to fall asleep while her friends came to see her. It would be rude to fall asleep. "I'm... Just so.. Stupid and selfish... I-I'm... Sorry..." Makie sighed slightly, feeling as if she was losing her voice.
'Grandma... I'm sorry... I'll be happier for you... I'll try, if not have friends who'll support me.' Makie thought, slowly closing her chocolate eyes for a bit of sleep. Misty took a breath, slipping by the nearby window as this happened. She hid her expression by turning away, and outside, it was sunny, with clouds starting to fill the skies as snow filled the ground.
'I suppose... This in a way is like Makie's grandmother crying for her. Telling her to be happy, while still in sadness. It's okay to be sad, but you have to smile when you remember deceased because of all the happy memories you've had with them...' Misty thought to herself. Before taking another breath and talking.
"Ai... You weren't born with wings were you?" Misty asked, rather coldly. She had a feeling that she wasn't born with wings, but she didn't know. "Did you want wings to fit in with the other angels to only realize, you wished you didn't have them?" No one knew about Misty's past, but if you did, you'd know why she was asking this.

(Whoopsies, Makie...sorry about that. I know this is already a little late for a reply but...I'll make it anyway.)
Shortly after Makie started crying, Ligah panicked not knowing what to do in that kind of situation. She got a tissue from a box on the side table next to the bed, but the other girl burst in the room. A cold 'hello' was her reaction after some yelling at Makie. Ligah just smiled a small, ignored smile and wiped her eyes unconsiously with the tissue she was holding.
Ligah was lost in thought for a while and sort of kept the now-soggy tissue on too long. When she came back to her senses, there was another girl again. They just keep coming and coming... Ligah just stood listening to the three with her own memories flowing back at her, to boot. She felt extremely touched by the way they communicated with each other, she never having felt that way before, having one friend an always abroad treasure hunter and the other a well-intentioned but slightly insensitive jerk. The girl who burst in some ten minutes ago asked the third girl if she was an angel. It's only logical that if werewolves existed, angels probably would too.

A nurse appeared infront of Pander, tapping his shoulder. She was young and slim. He uniform was freshly washed and looked as though it had just been pressed. Pander opened his eyes to look that the woman.
What can I do for you?
He couldn't hear a word she said. He read her lips as she spoke then began to formulate an answer.
I need my ears and nostrals purged or dried blood so that I'll be able to hear and smell again. Think you can do that?
It will be tough, but I think I can.
The nurse pulled out a long, thin metal rod with a small hook on the end. She turned Pander's head to look into his ear. She could see the blood and began to scrape away with the hook end of the metal rod. Most of the blood in his ear fell away, leaving only a few small bits that would come out in a shower.
His nose was another story. She pulled out another rod only this had a tool to spread open his nostrals for her. The nurse took the rod and again began to scrape the dried blood out of his nose. Most of it fell out, and again, the rest would come out in a shower. He smiled as he stood.
Thank you.
He pulled back on his rapier and walked out, back into the school hallways. He was bored and began to wander now, going and looking around at all the different places in the school.

Ai kept looking at her two feet, which were all bare, while she was running to the hospital she lost her flip-flops, so her feet were all dirty and a few scracthes from running along the dirt instead of running on the sidewalks. Ai is a silly girl and doesn't think for herself sometimes, but she all means well. Her long lavender hair still covering her face, so Makie still couldn't tell if she was still crying or not. Ai has never always had long hair, back when she was in South HQ, she cutt her hair so that she look stronger than she was, plus she wanted to fit in with everyone because there was more guys in the HQ.
"Makie.. I should be sorry.. I'm just causing more pain.." she said softly to herself, like a low whisper, almost like she was talking to herself. She slowly brought her head up, her hair slowly being pulled away from her face. Even though Ai has a fair face, alot of people thinks shes pretty, to Ai, she doesn't think she's as pretty as most people in Ria. Like Joy, Ai always loved her green hair, and Tiff, Tiff just has natural beauty, and then there is Makie, who is still a preteen, but Ai can tell she'll blossom into a pretty flower.
Ai brushed back a few strings of her lavender hair behind her ear as she a bright smile was shown her face, like it was full of promise and joy. As a few minutes passed by filled with silence, Ai heard the mysterious Misty speak, but she was asking about Ai's rather small wings. They are fake, but still real angel wings, but fake on Ai. The wings use to belong to a small girl named Rose, but she gave up her heart which transformed int wings. The girl, Rose, said that whoever gets her wings will have a curse, that the person who does get her wings will stop growing and will look forever how old she or he was when she or he got the wings. Ai didn't learn this till later in her life, when she watched everyone grow but herself.
"Ah.. yes.. but not technically fake.. the're pretty much real.." Ai said with a voice filled with grace as she glanced over her small shoulders and looked at her small purple wings. Angel wings are suppose to be white, but if the're not white, the're rare wings, especially purple ones. Not many angels have wings in that color. "Yes, you're right. I wanted to fit in, I felt so embaressed in Heaven when I was the only one who never had wings."
**** "Ai, come on! I have a special gift for you! You're going to love it!" grinned Hiro, who at the time, was 15 years old, Ai was 14 years old, and a still growing wingless girl. But she still was small for her age and had small hands like a child. Ai uneasily smiled as she took Hiro's hand, Hiro's white wings soon grew out of his back as he flew out of the South HQ where Ai was living at the time.
As they flew in the air, Ai saw the world below her feet change, like she was going through different dimensions, or rather she was going through a portal. "Hiro, where are you taking me?" she asked as she tugged at his sleeves. Hiro just smiled and kept his eyes in front of him. "You'll see!" he said, almost sounding like Oliver's voice when he was young, his short white hair being brushed by the soft blowing wind.
He soon landed in a long field full of flowers, but not just flowers, they were crystal flowers, the garden of the forest spirit of the earth. Hiro, was a special angel, he was like a guardian of the earth's spirits, thats why most of his powers deals with totem polls and spiritual energy. Ai placed her two hands over her heart as she stepped foward a little.
"This place is beautiful!" she said as she looked around, until a tall large tree caught her attention. Though it was kind of wierd, why was there a tree randomly growing in a garden? Should't there be more neighboring trees? Hiro suddenly grabbed Ai's hand and dragged her through the glowing crystal flowers. "Hurry!" he cried. Soon, in a few minutes, they ran through a hole in the tree and found themselves in a large room inside the tree. It looked like an inside of a nice cottage house by a pond. Though, more like a greenhouse where there was more crystal flowers being grown.
"My, my, what a lovely little girl you have there, Hiro" cried a voice from a women. She was wearing a sundress, but it was made out of leaves. Her hair was white with green streaks going through, and white roses in her hair. She was indeed a forest spirit. Hiro soon let go of Ai's small hand and took a few steps backwards. Ai looked at him strangely and was abou to move back with him.
"Don't move back, I want to take a closer look at you" said the forest spirit again, she placed one hand on Ai's chin as she brought her face closer. She then placed her other hand on Ai's cheek, then to her forehead, then back at her cheek. Then she moved both her hands back by he side. "Your a strange angel, where are your wings?" she asked. Ai frowned.
"I-I don't know, I was never born with them" she said, but she sounded a little scared. The forest spirit largely smiled as she snapped her fingers, soon small roots of the tree came out of the floor and made a chair for Ai to sit in. The spirit motioned for Ai to sit, which she did.
"Tell me, do you want wings, Miss Ai?" she questioned as she sat in her own chair made out of roots. Ai's soft lavender eyes widened, how did this women know her name? Maybe the flowers outside can speak to the spirit, like the stories has said. Thats when Ai perked up at the mention of her own little wings.
"Yes!! That would be soo totally awesome!! Then I can fly wherever I want!" Ai said as she waved her arms about. But then stopped and let them drop by ehr side, a curious look on her face as she spoke once again, "Why are you asking?" The spirit lightly laughed.
"Because Hiro has been a good little gardener and I promised him that I can grant a wish. He chosed that he wanted his little sister to finally have her wings. Your lucky to have a older brother that loves you"the spirit said, Ai looked over at Hiro with a surprised look, but when she looked back, he wasn't there anymore. "Don't worry, he's just outside waiting" the spirit said.
"But-but if I had wings, wouldn't the devils be after them? I heard angels can die from that!" Ai said with a frightful voice. The spirit laughed again, but only louder.
"I wouldn't count on that, yes, angels do die, but in your case, you won't die from wings being taken away since you were never born with them in the first place. And that would make the devils think your wings are worthless if you won't die. You're a special angel, your most valuable possesion you have is your heart. And trust me hearts are the most beautiful thing in the world" the spirit said, but soon raised her hands which was glowing green. "Shall we grant your brother's wish?" she questioned as Ai nodded followed by a gulp.
The spirit smiled as small bright little orbs son formed in her hands, she brought both of her hands nearby her lips and blew at the orbs. The orbs soon blew over at Ai, once the orbs impacted at Ai's body, Ai closed her eyes. Her body soon was glowing a white glow, the orbs swiftly formed into glowing wings. Once the glow was gone, they were small purple wings. Ai slowly opened her eyes and then looked behind her. She had wings! A huge childish smile broadened on her face. It was like a dream come true!
"Thank you. Thank you!" Ai cried as she ran out of the room, to go off showing Hiro her new wings. The spirit smiled, as she sat down once again. and slowly whispered to herself. "She's a special one, alright"
****
"But I'm happy with my wings! Even if they can be a hassle sometimes. Oh! Excuse me! I didn't notice we had another visitor in here!" Ai said as she finally noticed Ligah. Ai slowly stood up from the chair and walked over to her. Ai brought out her small hand for Ligah to shake.
"Why Hello! My name is Ai!" she said as she smiled. Ai loved making new friends, it just makes her heart grow stronger anf stronger.

Misty listened to Ai. The girl said she was happy with them. It made the older woman curious. There must have been something special about Sakura's wings that caused her to like them. Misty thought wings were cool and all, but they all seemed so filled with burden. It was as if wings were a form of parasite that just latched onto your back.
Yeah, Misty found wings to be strange, weird, filled with burden, and a sort of plague. She honestly wasn't fond of them, especially when they're big wings. People would look on tv and say, 'Oh! I want big white wings to fly with as well!' But often times, they don't realise having wings, is like a full time job. Taking care of them, lugging them around, looking out for demons that might want to take them and cause the angel to die. Having wings definatly wasn't something that any one would really want.
That's why, when Ai spoke so freely about them, it made Misty wonder about why Sakura would wish she didn't have them. Did she enjoy having wings? Okay, stupid question. By the looks of it, Ai obviously loved her wings, but what was her reason. Yes, they were purple, meaning that they were rare, but just how exactly were they important? Were they important to her just because they were purple? Were they important to Ai just because they were rare? Misty shook off those questions, to just relax for a bit.
"Why are they so important to you? Aren't you afraid of people thinking that you're some kind of monster? Aren't you afraid of what people will think about you?" Misty asked, pressing her right hand against the window. Seeing the snow suddenly lighten, and going away. Misty was confused at the sudden change of weather, but that didn't matter to her, the weather is very strange and often changes. Although, the midnight haired girl did know about angels and how some could control the weather depending on their emotions, but Misty honestly didn't care about the weather at the moment.
"Aren't you afraid that people will shun you just for having purple wings, or for being different?" Misty asked, even more serious then the last time. You might wonder why she was asking these questions, but the answer was really quite simple. However, Misty would never tell.
***
A younger Misty stood, holding her sword tightly. The sword was made out of nothing but wood. She was wearing a casual top and jeans, she looked like a little girl playing with a wooden sword, pretending that she could save the world. Her sky blue eyes reflected hurt and sorrow as she looked up at all her sempai. She loathed them. They all thought they were better then her because she was a little girl who never weilded a sword before. The ridiculed Misty just for playing with a wooden sword. Well sue her for wanting to be a strong swordswoman.
"Ahahaha! You can't do anything with a wooden sword, and you'll never be able to weild a real one, even if your parents are the top swordspeople in town!" The leader mocked, staring down at her as if she was a mere spec of dust. The 'pak' nodded and cheered for their leader, being completely loyal to their master. Misty gripped her wooden sword tighter, trying to hold up with all the nasty comments thrown at her.
"Be quiet! I can beat you guys any day with a REAL sword!" Misty said. The words just flew out of her mouth, the next moment, she had no clue why she even said that. It was a lie. The girl never used a sword in her life, and she had no experiance in an actual battle. She'd be crushed. Within moments, a sword appeared at her feet.
"If you think you can beat me, pick up that sword and take your best shot." The leader said cockily. Misty gulped, but reluctantly picked it up, examining it's perfect steel blade, while discarding her wooden sword. It glistened brightly as it reflected the sunlight that was being poured onto it. Her shimmering eyes looked up, gripped the handle and charged forward. It was easily blocked with a swords seathe. Misty hit again and again, before the seathe of the sword that the leader wielded, hit her upside the head, causing her to faint.
Year after year it would be that same. At least until one year, when Misty was at the same level as the leader of that pak. He'd still torment her, even though she was one of the most skilled students in the whole school. It was one day, the leader, known as Kotarou, went too far with the insults.
"You're like some he-she! I mean, you're so manly! The only way I can tell you're a girl is because you have a chest! Or are they man boobs? You're like some monster! It's a wonder why your parents haven't told you they adopted you and that they haven't kicked you out of their house yet!" He laughed as he blocked a few more of her swings. "I mean seriously! You're not even pretty! Your hair is so... Short... You look like a guy with a chest. An ugly guy at that! Of course that would be an insult to us REAL men!" Then he went back with a few of his shots. However, Misty, having it hard, let her guard down and was easily withrown.
"Face it. You can never beat me, you stupid little orphaned monster!" Kotaru laughed as he kicked her and began to walk off. That was it. Misty had it with Kotarou. It was about time that she teach him a lesson. It was time to show him her real strength. Misty rose with anger, gritting her teeth. She clenched her hands in fists, clenching onto the sword for dear life. Heck you could even see the little anime vain popping from her head in anger. Then it happened.
Something ripped through the back of her shirt, causing her to yell out. Kotarou laughed, thinking he was successful in making her feel pain. More screams, getting louder each time. Then strange cries came from not Misty, but the others in the room. Kotarou turned around, before falling backwards onto the ground. On Misty's back were about a bit smaller then normal sized pure white wings. An angel. It was clear she was now. A human. Yes. Mix them together and what do you have? A half-angel.
Kotarou yelled out in astonishment. That was before he laughed again, pointing at her. "You really are a monster! Look at your wings! They're so un-human! You're a deformity! Ahahaha!----" But that laughing ceased shortly after it began, for Misty seized him by the throat, lifting him up into the air. Her grip was tight, and her eyes was narrowed on her target. Kotarou looked down into Misty's sky blue eyes. They looked more intensed and more violent then before. He squirmed vigorously, hoping her would not lose conciousness. Before he lost conciousness, his body impacted with a wall, and a sharp object pierced his chest.
Misty pulled her sword from his body, then dropped her sword. What had she just done? She was so over come with anger, she was blinded from reality. She didn't mean to kill him, just hurt him enough to make him stop teasing her and recognize her as an equal. She shrieked, the people shriek and every one ran as fast as they could yelling monster. But Misty could never let this news reach the town. She didn't want to leave a place she loved. The teenager flew fast, getting in front of the mob of people, stopping them in their tracks. "Stop please! Don't leave! You cannot tell any one about this! It's a mistake!" Misty cried out in attempts to make them stop and understand her. But the people didn't care, she killed some one right in front of their own eyes! They couldn't leave a crime not reported and accounted for.
They screamed and they all ran seperate directions. She had to stop them, but she'd have to kill them. It would be the only way to stop this mob. But she didn't want to kill them, she just wanted to stop them. A sudden burst of anger took over her again. Causing her to go on a rampage. She knocked people down, blocked the entrance's and probably landed a few people in the hospital with amesia. She was just lucky her mother and father were away on a trip at the moment. Then, Misty, still with remaining survivors, managed to knock them out and land most of them with amesia. And the pak that started it all, died a graceful death hand delt by Misty.
A girl so full of crime, should not be called an angel, or a half angel at that. A reject, a monster was more suitable for Misty. She felt so terrible. Amesia was okay, but the fact she was so blinded by rage she killed the very people that started it. Crying into her own hands she waited. Waited for her parents to return home. Why hadn't they told her she was a half-angel? Were they even her parents? Misty felt so lost, she felt like she was the one who should have died. The half-angel cried and prayed, hoping to be forgiven for her acts. Her punishment, was well, just going on living like a stupid rejected monster she was.
That punishment deepened on herself when her parents returned home. First, they left her with a scar of a cross on her stomach, and then they tell her that they were in fact her foster parents. This time, over come with sorrow, she deeply wounded them and ran. Ran away to some place she belonged... Which happened to be travelling on improving her skills, and then to Ria High with Makie.
***
All this time, as she remembered that painful memory, Misty began to feel very out-casted, and let her forhead fall against the glass. She pressed her face to the window, looking outside at the now cloudy day. She saw the light powdered snow, barely resting on the ground, as it seemed to fade, kind of desolving into the ground. She then went back a bit to gaze on her reflection, only to turn away and finally face Sakura and the rest. A hurt expression in her eyes, but a cold expression with her face. Misty acknowledged(sp?) Ligah, but really, just stood in silence, not really caring about anything but the hurt memories that clouded her head.
And for once. You could actually see the emotion in her ocean blue eyes if you looked closely enough.

Ligah shook Ai's hand and introduced herself. It was kind of hard to talk as her congenial nature was tainted by the aura of sadness around the room. It sorta brought back her own memories. (Oh, no! I've gotten into the craze!) Six years back, Ligah was just 8. She couldn't understand why she wasn't allowed to hang around at her friends' houses after dinner time, even on weekends. The names of her friends were Be and KT. Five years forward. As a volunteer for a school project, she had to stay overnight with her two friends, mentioned earlier. She told her parents, who apparently were extremely worried for her. Mom, Dad, it's gonna be fine. Don't worry about me! all of her six friends found out she was a werewolf only two remained her friend, and she was grounded to boot. It went up to the principal, the directress and even the town mayor. She was sent away. To this Ria High School thingy, though she wouldn't go anywhere for one year. Btu after that one year, she would have to spend six, away from her parents, friends, all those who cared about her. She was an outcast. Eventually KT and Be moved out of town, with KT's father being a treasure hunter, he had passed his dream to his daughter. Be, something weird happened to her. Hope she's OK. It ended up she went to Ria with Ligah, though her background wasn't verified by Ligah. Ligah smiled at Ai, "Nice to meet your acquaintance." then patted Misty's and Makie's shoulders. There, there, girls. I'm sure it'll turn out OK in the end, just like my concussion. Don't ask where that came from. Please.
(Yeah, Yeah. I know that was kinda short.)
