She would nod and use her tail to push herself backward, not to move away from him but just to move. The cool water would flow over skin, scales and hair, tugging at any loose parts to pull them in the opposite direction that she moves. "Is there something you want me to do, Akri?"

Waiting until he had left, she would sink herself back down to the bottom of the lake. But curious and slightly afraid of what her akri was planning. Her concerns however, are needless as in a very short amount of time, she has a new freedom. One that she hasn't experienced since before her days of enslavement. Once the passages were open she continues to sit in her customary spot. With a worried expression she approaches the largest one, bracing herself with one hand while she looks around.

Biting her bottom lip with nervousness she enters the first few feet of tunnel, still expecting something to either go wrong, or come out and stop her. When nothing does however she continues through the water. Despite the fact that she is eager to discover not only which part of Seisuke's house that this leads to, she is also, ever so slight, worried that it might be a bad time. Upon reaching the end she looks up, discovering the opening that leads to something new. Still she hesitates, not yet entirely certain that she wants to go up there.

Her sensitive ears pick up on the conversation and she relaxes, now knowing that she hasn't inadvertently chosen a tunnel that might lead to a more private location. Still she is hesitant to reveal her presence to the two men upstairs, particularly since one is unknown to her. However, taking a deep breath and putting her faith in her akri, she slowly swims towards the surface. Pausing only to tie some cloth around her chest and thus spare herself from what might be an embarrassing first encounter.


The only hint of her arrival is the soft sound of water moving over her head as breaks the surface. Her gray eye widens as she looks around the... what she assumes is some kind of workshop? All of this is new to her, and with nothing to compare it to, she can only look around in awe and wonder. Truly she must standout, with one eye and fins on the side of her head.

The moment that she had seen the other gentleman, despite his being on a communication device, rather than in person, she stills sinks down until only her eye and the very top of her head would be above the water. It takes a moment for her initial reaction to ebb away, but when it does she is left only with curiosity. Thankfully her blush is both hidden and cooled by the water when Seisuke smiled at her. With out another word she disappears beneath the water to continue her exploration.

She would continue to follow the tunnels, with each new room her curiosity grows stronger and stronger. Yet, there is one room that she still hasn't seen yet, that she doesn't want to see but for some reason, the curiosity just won't go away. With her tail pushing her through the waters she stops at the last opening. For the time being she simply looks up at it, saddened by memories that shouldn't affect her that way.

With her courage rallied and her fears quelled she had just prepared herself to swim up and take a look around when she is suddenly halted in her movements. The top of her head had almost broken through when she heard his arrival into the room. Thinking that he might find it rude of her to so blatantly enter into a private area, and loosing all of her courage in that second, she sinks back down to the bottom of the tunnel. However in her hurry to hide, she's forgotten that the surface of the water would slosh and ripple with her actions so close.

The slamming sound that reverberates through the water as the doors close startle her so badly that she looks over in that direction. She hadn't been thinking of running away... although at this point its probably what she should have done. Once again she looks up to that opening, her eye wide when she realizes that the only way for her to go is up. Charis closes that eye and takes a few deep gulps of water/air. Steeling herself for what she has to do. Slowly, she makes her way to the surface of the water. This time she doesn't back away but slowly emerges, gasping at the sight of his scar.
