Hiro gave a slight nod that was so small that you had to be right next to him to see it. Damn. If we weren't cornered in this dungeon we could easily get out, he thought. "I hope you're ready to die, Annexus," he said.

Annexus lowered his sword just a little. "The rest of you may leave. That includes the one standing behind me. And I don't aim to take you alive, Hiro, I wish to fight you to the death in the Arena."

Leah relaxed her position. "Wait! What about a trade? Instead of fighting Hiro, fight me. It will be a much better fight. Don't you want the people to see such a wonderful fight?" She hoped that Hiro wouldn't try to stop her for she had already formed the perfect plan. But she had to be the one to fight Annexus.

"What are you thinking?" Hiro whispered to her. He wanted to be the one to finish off Annexus, mainly because of how Annexus had taken him so lightly in their first encounter, but also because of how he put all of the other Eternal Eyes' lives on the line just to make sure he surrendered.

Leah sighed. Finally she decided this had gone on long enough. She answered Hiro. "I'm thinking that a little illusion would work." But at the same time she answered the king. "Why must you have him? Or is it because your afraid of this girl." She had put the illusion of herself answering Annexus in his mind so that she and Hiro could talk without worry.

Leah smiled a pained smile. "I'm not going to finish him off. He's going to get his chance to kill an Eternal Eye. But remember what I just told you. Illusion is the key word. She turned her attention back to the preoccupied king. She was waiting on his responce to the illusion Leah.
