*Ran fixed a small drink and took a swallow before turning and looking at the two* So without happiness or sadness, you're just going to live in a pacifist state? Sounds like a bad plan to me. *He spoke quietly before taking another swallow. Ran, however, didn't realize that he probably had no idea what they were talking about*

*Ran shot a side glance at Belinda at the human remark* What's that suppose to mean. stare *Shaking his head, Ran stepped forward after setting the empty glass down on the counter* The point that I think she's trying to make, is that everybody has a sense of good and bad, happy and sad. Without one their can't be the other. Besides... *Ran started back down the hallway towards his* A life without something to make you happy seems pretty meaningless, don't you think?

::brightly:: Just that humans tend to take stuff like that for granted, is all. They expect to grow up and be happy, so they sort of make themselves, they don't always realize that they have to know one side to know the other, though.

Mariata rolled her eyes and sighed. "I'm not going into it with either of you. There is no point to make about anything. And I'm not a pacifist, as that would be someone who thinks wars can be ended and solved peacefully. I'm a realist. I can survive without being happy or sad, and I rather enjoy myself. Besides, happiness is what you make it, and my powers make me happy, something your father would not be allowed to take from me as I am not his child as you are." she said pointedly. It was one of those things with gods. You could punish your children, but not the children of others, and to take her powers, her own father would have to have the permission of her human mother, which was unattainable.

A tiny yawn escaped the lips of a stirring Arianna Soft feathers caressed her soft warm skin as her eye lids began to flutter open. What time is it? She thought to herself while slowly sitting up. Stretching out her arm another soft yawn came from the air human. She had yet to realize her wings were still out. Blinking serveral times to adjust her eyes to the light now in the room Arianna slowly climbed off the bed and took in the suroundings she had woken up to.
This isn't my room...wait oh yes that's right I slept over...I'm a t ran's house...I wonder if anyone is awake. She thought to herself before she ran her fingers through her hair, trying to tame it a bit. She had no mirror to see if her hair wasn't a rats nest anymore but hopefully her hair was somewhat decent looking. Once that was finished she took a few steps towards the door.
Realization dawned on Arianna after spotting one to two of her soft feathers were on the ground-remembering that her wings were still out. Closing her eyes she hid her wings from view, giving her the appearence of a land human before stepping out of the room...wondering if any one else was awake. Hearing voices coming from the living room she shyly walked over....once there she saw that Ran, Belinda and Mariata were awake. Giving a nice and warm smile she waved her hand.
"Good morning..." she said happily and softly, hoping it still was indeed morning.

*Ran hadn't been in the room long and had already changed into cleaner pants and shoes. Stepping out into the hall way, he started towards living room while putting on a clean shirt on to hear "Good morning..." come from behind* Hmm? *Ran stopped and turned around, the shirt still only down over his shoulders with his chest and abs still uncovered* Oh..uh...good morning. Hmm? *Ran had smiled at first but then at realizing how he was standing he quickly jerked the shirt down over his torso, nearly ripping it* S-Sorry...I didn't mean..that is I uh... stare redface ...sorry.

Arianna quickly averted her gaze off of Ran....a faint blush coming across her cheeks...feeling a bit embaressed for seeing ran with his abs and torso exposed....she was embaressed for two thigns...seeing that and....ran apologizing. Why was he apologizing?
She didn't announce she was coming in to the living room...which would've been the polite thing to do...but nope. Her mind was still awakening from a nice long slumber. Her eyes were now just looking at a random place on a nearby wall with her head turned slightly...hoping no one saw the faint blush on her face.
"Um..no its my fault. Sorry..." she said a bit sheepishly.

He really could mess up anything if given the chance* No, it's mine, I shoulda finished changing in my room. But come on, Belinda and Mariata are already up. *Trying to change the subject in a hurry, Ran turned and started into the living room hoping that this embarassing situation would quickly be erased from his mind*

Having heard the exchange, Mariata rolled her eyes. "Bella, humans are so rediculous ne? Always getting embarassed over the simplest things and all that. It makes absolutely no sense." she concluded, looking over at her friend. Of course, Belinda probably wouldn't agree with her, she happened to like many things about humans. Mariata just enjoyed watching the chaos she could wreak on them.

They get embarassed when they see things in others that they themselves do not posess for the first time. Then they either decide they want it, they admire it, or they become distasteful of it. ::quite the over simplification, but Belinda isn't too picky, as long as she gets her point across.::

"Like I said, they're rediculous. You forgot about when they're simply afraid to be perverted. Gods don't care either way I suppose, perverts or not. But what's the point in being embarassed over it? Shouldn't you tell someone if you admire something they have as a matter of courtesy or something?" Never really followed humans too well, especially not her mother.
