After Kaiser let go of him, Loww set about rummaging in his clothing for a moment before he spoke again. They were both just luck that Kaiser let go of him when he did, otherwise there may have been a very large mess.
"It's ok, I can understand how things can be hard if you have debt collectors after you. I have never had the problem myself, but it is something that i could imagin would be hard."
Accepting the offer for something to drink, Loww would ask for any sweet liquore they may have, then he would turn Kaiser again and begin to explain his research.
"I have been recently researching into way to control aging along with life and death, though the use of potions. I know that people have accomplished it before, and I have a ruff version of the potions myself. I found though that I need to know a little more about life, death, and the Undead before I can continue with my expariments. What that came down to for me was that I needed a speacialist in those fields, and who better to tell you all about life, death, and anything in between than a Necromancer? I am sure you know as well as I do though that it is very difficult to find them in the comfortable cities around here. Now truth be told I have been following you since you left Latent, in the hopes that I could speak with the Necromancer that you find after you are done with them, but sadly I fear that if I were to follow you into any colder a climate then this I would become a frozen bug. I know I am able to survive in cold climates, but what I really need is someone to keep an eye on me just in case I start to freeze. That is why I decided to speak with you, otherwise with out some help I may have to give up on my exparaments."
After finishing, Loww would sit and wait for Kaiser's reaction.

"Interesting," was all Kaiser had to say after listening to the bug-man's story. He was a little disturbed about the part of him following them ever since they left Latent, which made him wonder if anyone else was following them as well. He must have been distracted alot while they had been travelling to have not noticed someone shadowing them. Then again, he probably wouldn't have notices Loww regardless.
"We're heading to Sorrow's Keep in the morning, if you'd like to come along. We're going to be travelling through the mountains, so it will probably be pretty cold. I've got Adrienne out running some errands and buying extra supplies, so we should be good... unless there are things you need."

Loww sat and thought for a moment, then smiled.
"If there is anything else I need I will handle it, but I think I am doing very well for myself already. I might grab a few more pairs of cloths somewhere. I will be here then when you are ready to leave in the morning."
With that, Loww rummaged around in his clothing for a moment. Then he would begin to blur out of Kaiser's vision, becoming difficult to look at directly. Hopping off the bar stool and heading out the door, he would become harder to see as he got futher away.

The bus driver had warned the young woman that Lament was no place for a lady all alone, Dawn had simply smiled at him and said thanks before she pulled on her pack and slung the long shoulder strap of the cylindrical carrying case over her head. Dark shades hid sky blue eyes and her long brown hair was pulled back in a serviceable pony tail that actually showed off the blonde streaks in a very fashionable manner. She was dressed in a thick dark green sweater and black jeans, her work boots obviously new and a long black scarf wrapped around her neck.
"Time to find Mark..." Dawn headed into town, not a clue of where she was going beyond finding the first construction crew and asking about Raven Industries main camp.

"Do you think people are actually going to reply to these things?" Commented a man in a long white lab coat to what seemed to be his assistant who was taping a poster onto a wall. The two of them both had these rather large stacks of paper and where pasting them here and there about the city of Lament. The gentleman coughed slightly do to the contents of the polluted air that hew was getting within his lungs. It was causing him to practically wanting to die, the air tasted as sour as it looked. Which was never a good thing to see the air that surrounds you. "Well if you think about it Jessie, we're in the slums of Gaia. Someone is bound to respond these things. I mean $1,000,000,000 to find a rabbit and bring them back to the lab? What more could you want! And would you stop coughing on the posters, you're making a mess!" The grey haired woman as a piece of her hair fell over her glasses, with a quick brush she pulled it aside. "Why did you rip off part of the poster?""I really don't think we should concern ourselves to deal with the dead...do you? I think if we get the two experiments in...then the search will end there, don'tcha think?" But before she allowed him to answer her, she smiled and countinued to post the posters about the walls as Jessie quietly slinked behind him sadly. He still didn't think the boss was going to be pleased, but there really wasn't much for him to say about that. The two of them countinued to move down a few more streets and countinued to place posters about walls and posts. However the one named Jessie didn't seem so impressed by their methods that they were attempting. He sighed and coutinued to paste the ads about, but his negative attidudes soon caught his female compadre, James who stopped and turned to him. "What is it now?" "I dunno, I just think that we should go to a bounty office or something." "We'll go there as soon as we find one. Now come on! We got to go get a train ticket so we can countinue to distribute these bad boys." The two of them then quickly walked off towards the train station. As they moved the wind blew softly which caused one of the ads to scatter away from Jessie. As it flew across the sky it finally reached itself a new home, it was face up to allow the people who were passing to read this: Quote: WANTED These Individuals are requested to be returned to Marchiko Laboratory located in Latent immediately. Rewards will be granted with evidence provided. Experiment 28669722248 AKA Madison ALIVE Reward: $1,000,000,000 Experiment 488351503 AKA Maggie ALIVE Reward: $1,000,000,000These individuals were definitely in for a big surprize at this point in time for now the world was going to know of the prices on their heads, while the rest of the bounty was going to remain a mystery.

The city was bustling, as always. She had ended up in the Outer City, where most of the work was taking place in the first phase. Actually, most of the workers here knew where Mark was- in fact, the first one she asked knew exactly where the camp had been set.
The streets needed to be cleaned, that was for sure... but that'd be for later, hmm? Right now, the prospect of better housing would be a rather valid idea. Mark's camp was located on the eastern end of the Outer City, and was mostly a couple of tents that were set up.
The man himself was in his mid-thirties, with sandy blonde hair and a medium build. The guy was pretty ripped from his years on the job, and didn't really care for anyone else's opinion besides his own. Still, when he got the call a few days ago that an architect had been hired, possibly a chief architect, he was secretly relieved.
Rubbing the scruff on his neck, he observed the city's blueprints, of which there were several. He sighed to himself, wondering how exactly they were going to get this finished in less than four years... much less two.
It's like we're building ********' Rome. That thing about it not being built in a day was right- but we gotta do it, he thought to himself.

Loww had been sneaking around the above ground parts of the city, looking though trash cans and the such for old clothing that had been thrown away. Anything that he found he would tie to his body covering any part of him that was not already bundled up tight. This would sevearly limit his movement, but it was worth it to keep from freezing solid on his upcoming journey.
Loww would not take any clothing that looked new or clean in any way. He did not mind dirty clothing, he was an insect. For the most part Loww would remain entirly un-noticed by the general public. Only people who those who could sence him though some other sort of detection besides heat or sight, would even know he was there.

It's like we're building ********' Rome. That thing about it not being built in a day was right- but we gotta do it, he thought to himself. " How much of that is still accurate?" She couldn't have been more than 7 or 8 years his junior, but you never could tell how guys like him would respond to someone like her suddenly popping in and studying the blueprints. " How long do you think it would take to clear the outer road of all that debris? Have you gotten any new specs on the sewer and any underground power or gas lines?" The sight of those few tents had gotten her mind spinning to a project that she had actually been the junior architect on. Dawn had one major flaw... she loved what she did, and she never stopped thinking about what she did xp

Quote: Dawn had one major flaw... she loved what she did, and she never stopped thinking about what she did Wait... did she consider that a flaw?
blaugh
Funny.
Mark awnsered her questions without looking, as if he were talking to one of his more... inquisitive workers. "Truthfully, this is as accurate as it gets. Everything seems to match here, from the ground up. Yeah, the streets are plenty dirty here in the Outer City- they might need a bit of work, but it shouldn't take more than a week and a few days, with how many- whoa!"
Yes, he had turned around just at that moment. After composing himself, the minor shock gone from how close the woman had gotten to the table (and how quietly she had done so), he straightened his hard hat and gave her an annoyed glare.
"Don't spook me like that. Who are you, anyways?"

sweatdrop "Sorry, Dawn Montigo... I was told to come see you about a job..." whee Dawn smiled and tried not to laugh at having startled the big man. She had a tendancy to get around fairly quiely when her feet were on natural surfaces.
Dawn pulled her carry case arround and actualy dug out a small floor plan of what, at first glance, appeared to be a trailor home. "See, I know this company that actualy makes pre-assembled appartment buildings! All we have to do is prep the site for a crane and utility hook ups and they move them in via Semi's and build an entire apartment building in about a week or less! The units stack together like Lego blocks!" 3nodding Her persistance was more than likely the real flaw... it made it a little hard to talk to her about anything beyond the point that she wanted to make!

Well, it was a rather interesting concept, but...
Wait. It just might work. It sure would beat the housing that people had now... from what the blueprint stated, it wasn't all that bad. In fact, it'd do nicely, given the proper foundations. But he couldn't let her know that, now could he? Stubbornly lifting his chin slightly, he made a counter-argument.
"That's all well and good, missy... but we want a structure that'll hold against the elements, see? Building it from the ground up will allow one to be sure that the job's done right. Besides, I'm not sure that I trust these people that are from an outside source."
No matter how impressive this plan looks... It certainly looks nice and cozy, and if we finish the job quickly, we might get paid more. Still...

xd *They were originally used by the military. The way that they are designed makes them almost earthquake proof, hurricane resistant, and flood resistant! They are made of fire resistant materials and with the right platform before they start staking them, usually a good 4 foot concrete base works best... they are virtually tornado proof! The bottom level is built with a deck, and all the upper levels with patios so they are rather nice to look at, the fixtures are fairly basic but that also means that it is rather easy for a tenant to upgrade their apartment to different flooring types or counter tops... all those sorts of things! They come in a standard 1.5 bedroom, 2 bedroom or 3 bedroom version and are normally laid in simple 3 x 2 x 15 floor blocks. but I was thinking that we could lay them in squares instead.." Dawn pulled a pencil out of her back pocket and drew a little square with another slightly smaller square in the middle and she scribbled in the space between the two squares so that the center of the inner square was blank.
"Then we could put little parks and play grounds in the common areas, good safe places for families to live..." The lady had ideas that was for sure... she may have wanted to use preconstructed homes but that appeared to be more to facilitate a speedy build than anything else. "Plus with the company installing the blocks themselves that would mean that we could get started on buildings geared towards industrial and commercial infrastructure as well as hospitals, schools and city protective services." 3nodding

Mmmm... she's good. Makes me wonder whether she was on a debate team in school or something.
Scratching the back of his head, Mark made sure that he had this straight.
"Okay, so all we have to do is call these guys in, set up the utilities, set up the cranes, and watch them work? Still sounds a bit shaky, but with the chance that this would accelerate our time frame by a significant amount, I'm willing to take a few risks. Hmm... Tell you what I need you to do, though.
"We've been requested to place a corporate office here in Lament, within the Inner City. We've got the permits to do so already, and all we need is a good, solid floor plan. Now, considering that I'm no architect- or at least, I'm not as good as I used to be- I'll have you draw up the plans. The sooner we get this done, the sooner we'll get to work on it. And I want you to give me this company's phone number so we can get started on those apartments."
Lady, you might have just saved our asses here...

"I suggest that we lay the concrete platforms ourselves as well, these people build and assemble big Lego blocks. They don't have a clue how to lay a popper foundation!" sweatdrop Dawn circled the company information that was actually on the back of the floor plan that she had shown Mark.
"As for the building design for a corporate headquarters... do you have any specifics that I need to follow, or can I just use the first thing that pop into me head?" xd Now that actually made her look rather cute, but the fact was that she had spent the entire bus ride out here thinking over building designs and wondering what sort of massive changes she could make to a city like this.

Okay, so that made Mark laugh. One more point for the new lady.
"Look, the plans for that RI building are up to you. We're just playing this one by ear, but we have to make it good, and make it work. We'll get to work on the foundations as soon as we can, but you can get to work on those floor plans whenever you're ready to do so.
"Draft 'em up, show 'em to me, and we'll get to building."
