"Then you are nothing but a golem." Adam commented. He then praye dthat what he was about to do would work. Opal had a heart after all, even if it was black.
He suddenly and no doubt painfully increased the gravity around Opal's heart, crushing it by forcing it to beat slower and slower, cutting of fthe blood and oxygen - a trick that he had notcied often hapend to humans agsint his will. He could stop it if he so wished, even fi he could not kill her.

Opal remained expressionless as she felt the gravity within.
"So.....this is how you want to play," Opal said. With some effort she summoned her puppet strings to search through her bags and pulled out a round, white shaped object......the string pulled out a pin . The strings released and it rolled towards Adam.
A moment the item exploded with a blindly light. Opal took this moment of confusion and fled, but not before stabbing the young girl in the back.
The little girl fell to the ground-bleeding greatly, crying in pain.....
((Adam won't get Opal so easily.....*evil laughter*.....*sigh*I'm a terrible person...poor little mortal girl...))

Stunend by the light Adam winced backwards. when he manage dot see agin he saw the small girl sobbing in pain.
"argh..." he bent down to the girlexamining ehr wound. He puleld her hair out fo her face and treid ot comfort her.
"shh..shhh It's alright i'm here. Hodl my hand we'll find some help. ok?"
Not wnating to hurt her, but knowing he had to move her anyway, he picked her up as gently as he could and held her close to his chest to keep her stable.
"I will not let you die, alright? I won't, so it's ok...what's your name, sweetie?"
he spread his wings and took off, looking for a hospital as fast as he could.

The little girl sobbed, "......E-Eve....." Eve continued to cry.

[haha way to rip out Adam's heartstrings and stomp on them, Moon XD]
Adam's eyes widened.
"E-Eve?....it's a beautiful name. My name is Adam. I'll keep you safe, Eve."
He felt her hot blood oozing through his fingers and his heart hammered with fear fo what woudl happen oif he was too late. he looekd around desperately for a hospital. he thought he caughta sign out fo teh corner of hsi eye and swirled around back where he came to make sure he hadn't passed it.
"You're being very brave, sweetie."

Eve moaned in response-she was beginning to lose conciousness.

Opal found a place out of sight-in the shadows and again drew her own blood to paint the symbols......
"Your puppet returns with pleasent news, master. The spirit, Aisling has been aquired," Opal said bringing out the doll that held Aisling within.

Dougal felt the change of flow in the energies. "Damn it," he cursed as he lept off the roof. He set out to find Opal and his sister on his own-still not fully recovered.....

Adam finally found the hospital and dived trhough the air to get it. He landed and ran into the hospital, quickly hiding his wings and fangs ito human form. He rushed to the first doctor he saw.
"Please- this is an emergancy - she's been stabbed. she's dying, she needs some more blood- please help!"
Soemwher ei the bac of his mind he was genraly appauled by how distraught he was getting, worked up like a mortal. why did teh girl ahve to be called eve of all things?

The symbols faded and Opal returned the doll to her bag.

"Yea I noticed that. But then he gets cooler armor later." Nikoli said with a srug. "Um maybe we should move. Or we can stay here and talk about old anime shows." Siad Renten as he picked up his scatered gear.

AS teh doctores took Eve away Adam stood lamely in the corridor, his clothes (black as ever, but now a 'casual' tshirt and jeans), and chunks of hsi white hair were covered in her blood. he felt roote dot teh spot afraid that he'd be called back with the news that her soul was his to be passed over. H kne whe had to go save aisling, but coudln't bear teh thought of teh girl waking up...or never waking up... alone.
damnit what do I do?

Opal began to travel again-deciding it best to get as far away from the city as much as possable until her master retrieved Aisling.

Dougal was getting closer now.....the energies were getting stronger.
His eyes widened and in his mind he shouted, "There!" He slashed out his chains....
Opal already sensing him dodged his pathetic attack with ease."Silly little child," she said.
Dougal cursed and then replied, "Child?.....Have you even looked in the mirror lately?"
"A joke? Was I suppose to laugh?" Opal asked flatly.
Dougal somersaulted and slashed out his chains again. "Your attempts are futile," Opal said as she summoned her strings. "Do you enjoy getting broking?" Dougal was unable to move. She approached him and poked at an open wound. Dougal hissed in pain and he spat at her.
"Very uncivilized," she said as she pulled out a hanky and wiped off her face. She jabbed at the wound and Dougal screams seemed to echo through the air. "When you're unable to move like this you're more like an insect rather then a cat....." she gave a creepy-unfeeling smile as she pulled out a number of needles and knifes. She pinned him then...to the ground.....blood poured out. Opal whispered in his ear, "This is nothing compared to what the master has in store for you." With that she disappeared into the darkness.
Dougal coiled in pain. ".....help.....someone...." his voice trembled, ".....Adam..." His vision grew dark.....his body grew colder...

ADam winced as a orrible feeling shiver edthrough him.
Dougal?
He hesistated and then ran to the reception, grabbing a note and scribbling it out befor ehandin it over.
"Please, give thsi to Eve when she wake sup the little girl."
He the dashe dout fo the hospital, as soon as he left he opene dhis wings and flew out to find dougal.
"I'm coming....hodl on."
He summoned his scythe and tore through the air with his wings, following the plea for help he sensed from Dougal. he soon foudn hima nd let out a groan of anguish at having let him get in such a state.
"Damn it, I'm so sorry."
He looked down at the mess Dogal was and gripped one of the many knives and pins in him
"Sorry-"
he began to yank each one out, freeing him form being pinned on the ground, and ignoring Dougal's obviously pained responses.

Gabriel still looke dup at the sky vaugely where the cat had been set fire to. His usually flawless brow creased.
"There is a lot fo evil in this city..." he mumbled to himself
