Tokeru smiled sheepishly. "Sorry, it's just, i call it humble because it's home. And to me, home is humble. Sorry." Why the hell am I apologizing?
He looked back at Edith, and for some reason said something he considered very stupid. "You know you're very beautiful? And funny, and also a kick a** hunter."

Sighing he did as was told and placed his hand on the pad and his eye in the key hole. Looking through he waited for a few moments before he heard a buzz and backed away. As he did he looked for the bookcase and simply pulled the book down if he remembered correctly and as he descended into the depths of the earth he was greeted by two more guards which instructed him through a series of complicated security devices. Finally reaching what appeared to be the lobby he seriously doubted whether or not he'd be able to find Tokeru and sat down on a nearby couch and brought his kness to his chest and waited.

Edith could not help but agree with the Shadow Stalker Leader's statement, home was supposed to be humble, humble, safe, and comforting. "Yeah," she said as she continued to look around the room, "I know what you mean. Home is home, it is different for everyone, some with their parents, some with lovers, some by themselves, some large, some small..."
What the Shadow Stalker Leader said to her next caught her completely off guard and she turned to stare at him to make sure he was alright. "Uh," she said, unsure of how to react as she had never been good at receiving compliments or praise, "thanks? Are you alright there Tokeru? I don't even recall having ever fought alongside you..."

Tokeru smiled, despite himself. "I can see it in your eyes, in the way you hold yourself and move. You are confident in every step and you are also Will's sister, which means you can't be a horrible fighter."
He started to blush, and turned his head away. "I'm fine though. I don't really know what made me say that. I can't tell. I've really been alone all my life, and all of a sudden. I have a sister, a Tiger and friends. It's all new and strange to me. I don't know what i'm supposed to do."

Kaji walked into the lobby of the Shadowstalkers Chaperhouse from the downstairs, a towl draped around his shoulders as his hair was matted down to his head by water. He was in his human form and he had a bathing suit on that was down to about three inches below the knee. He was still dripping wet as he said, "I heard that there was a person waiting in here." He looked around and spotted Signo on the couch and he said, "Let me guess, you are waiting for Tokeru?"

Simon parked his Impala near the Shadow Stalker's chapterhouse, allowing the front wheels to lift off the ground a few times, just to make his entrance cooler than it already was. Stepping out, Simn yawned and streched out a bit, dropping his whiskey bottle in the front seat, and closing the door to his car. "It's locked," Simon reassured himself and walked off towards the front of the house.

Staring up at the man who had appeared clad in a towel and bathing suit he just thought it was a bit odd....
"Yes, I'm here to be interviewed by Tokeru", said shingo as he glanced about the room and looked him over attempting to judge what exactly this man did around here.

Kaji looked down at the person again, and once the man had glanced around a room, Kaji had shifted into his werewolf form. When the man looked back at him, a 9'2" black werewolf with silver fur running down his chest stood where Kaji was. Thankfully, his bathing suit didn't bust and it actually grew with him to be at a comfortable fit. A slight chuckle escaped the werewolf's mouth as he then said, "Well, still trying to figure out something?"

Scratching shi head as he saw a werewolf where a man once stood he heard his question, but was lost in thought. I heard of this a werewolf splitting off from the pack never see too many of these guys hanging around. Vampires more often though the process seems more common.
"No not really just waiting :3", he responeded.

I don't know what i'm supposed to do." Edith could not help but smile at Tokeru's embarrassment as he described to her through her eyes how he thought she carried herself. Well, everyone seemed to think that because she was Will's sister that she'd be some kick-a** fighter. This was Will's personal rep, not her own, she wished to make herself one so that she would no longer have people saying she was strong just because she was his sister. She had her own plans and perhaps they were going to be sculpted into reality easier if she was to remain with the Shadow Stalkers.
When he had started to blush and turn away it was confirmed that the supposedly emotionless killer dug her. It was somewhat awkward to have a guy who had never experienced anything but killing and being killed once to have an attraction to her. Did he know that he liked her or was he wondering if there was something wrong with him. "It's fine," she assured with a smile and hand to his shoulder, about the extent of her comforting abilities, "I can't say that I would do the same since I am not the same but I am sure that if I was, it would be somewhat like this. I wouldn't mind having the killer base."
"But yeah," she said turning to Hope, now blushing herself since she had just noticed Tokeru's sister watching them, "I guess I... uh... I should get these burns healed up now before I do something stupid like fall down the stairs." Edith had found herself stammering, rarely did she lose her composure and begin to stammer but something had caused her to. Perhaps it was due to the fact that she wondered if his sister would now hate her because her brother seemingly had feelings for her or if the girl would even notice herself.

When Tokeru felt Edith's hand on his shoulder. Two things happened. 1) He almost drew a scimitar as a reflex and 2) He decided it felt good.
Shaking his head, he walked off towards the bathroom. "I'm gonna go take a shower now, Hope, can you heal her?"
"Of course brother. Burnt flesh is no problem for me. She will be healed before you even wash your red hair."
Tokeru smiled, and walked into the bathroom. Unlike every other room in the Chapterhouse, the bathroom was small. The only thing differet about the bathroom was that it had no toilet, it was a shower. The entire bathroom was a shower, made just so he could spread his wings to their fullest extent.
When he opened the door, he noticed something odd, the water was already running, and then he noticed something odder, Savage was sitting in the middle of the shower. Chuckling silently to himself, he wrestled the giant cat out of the shower, and out of the bathroom. Disrobing himself, he locked the door and started to take a shower.
Meanwhile, Hope smiled at Edith. When someone looked at Hope's eyes, it always gave the impression that she could read minds, even though she couldn't.
Hope brought Edith to a sofa and told her to lie down so she could heal the wounds better. She started healing and then all of a sudden asked. "Do you like my brother?"

Edith stared as Savage came out of the bathroom and smirked at the giant tiger. She found it odd how Tokeru kept him in haul all the time. The tiger could get hurt was Edith's main concern, but that somewhat human part of her that needed to control things also thought of what would happen if the tiger went rampant. Should the tiger decide to do that then Tokeru might be in some s**t or the fan would spray it all over him.
When Hope instructed her to lay upon the couch, she obliged without question and went to lay down. She shuffled around quite a lot before she got herself into a comfortable postition. Her expression became that of a perplexed one when Tokeru's little sister decided to raise the question of whether or not she liked him. Being Edith, she assumed that the girl meant like as in the normal like where you saw them as a friend or ally. "Well," she said shrugging her shoulders, causing herself some pain as Hope had not yet tended to her shoulders, "he is my leader so I kinda have to like him."

As soon as Hope finished healing her wounds, Edith told Hope to pass on the info to her brother that she was going to the Hunter's haven though she did not state why nor when she would be back. The vampiress had remembered well the UV lights that alligned the street when she had tried to get into the base for negotiations prior to this visit. Seeing as she did not want to put Hope's hard work to go to waste, she took the subways.

Tokeru took a long time to shower, preening his wings so they were immaculate again.
Meaniwhile, Savage did something very un tiger like. Since the tiger was soaked, he liked himself dry, then went over to the towel closet and dragged out the biggest towel he could find with his teeth, and dragged it over to the puddle of water that he had left on the floor.
Tokeru came out of the shower, and Hope gave him the message. He sighed and decided he should send Savage. He equipped the tiger with one of those two way walkie talkie things so he could hear what was happening, and sent him off after Edith. The tiger left without a second thought, growling appreciatively as Tokeru gave him a very large steak to bring along, which the Tiger did.
Tokeru got himself dressed, and went down to his office.

Simon stopped in front of the house. He knew there were some crazy defenses, so the hunter decided he'd rather not trip any. He stood outside....... waiting.
