First, Yua had swung with a free rotation of reiatsu. She neither forced out spiritual pressure, nor attempted to pull it inwards into herself like she usually does - making the energy into a tight orb like a ball of yarn. She ripped at one tree, then another until the two she had been using in the grove were hit multiple times. Then she stopped to look. Her fingers trailed each grove placed on the tree. The imprints were not too deep as she had not used force but a laid back hand with her single edged weapon.
Also, the lines were not smooth, rather it looked like half a slot for a key to be placed in - each line looked different but in general had the same features. I fight like this, perhaps when I am not thinking and just swinging, Yua's brown eyes move towards the other tree, her hand stretching at the sword cuts. But I am not angry in this situation, or else I force spiritual pressure. Pulling back her arm to place both hands back on the hilt of her sword, she raised her weapon and swung. Yua could feel a rush of reiatsu - maybe too quickly - flooding into her arms as she came in contact with the tree and instead of slashing, the wood on part of the tree seem to 'shear' off.
With a quiet exhale, Yua sat down where she stood. She now held her weapon in her right hand while she had her left clenched in front of her as she opened and closed the palm. That kind of hurt, I should not grip so hard, her eyes seemed to narrow and her mouth emoted something similar to a sulk. Exactly how was she able to cut a hollow in half if couldn't get through a tree? Foliage didn't move but hollows can and Yua didn't plan on smashing into the floor or something when she was fighting.
Yua does know that if she fights with someone, it would be easier for someone else who is watching to point out what she could do, but she didn't like people too much. The only reason she knew this was from sitting quietly and watching those who pass by fight and later be told something they could do to acheive knowledge to surpass a certain flaw. It just didn't come easy either. And watching is so much different actually fighting too, Yua stood and straightened her black robe. She was continuing.

Ezru appeared for the first time in the training grounds in 3 years. A flash of energy was all that would signal his arrival, and the smoke of his energy mixed with the fire of Fefnir's office. "I'm back home..." Ezru said softly to himself as he lay down on the grass and rubbed his stomach with one hand. He immediatly noticed energy that was foreign and had a strong determination and drive.
Ezru stood up, and felt his energy go low, as his blind eyes focused on the direction of the energy. He began to walk there, staying to the shrubery that seemed to sprout up near his every footstep. Finally reaching the point or origin, Ezru was unsurprised to see someone practicing katas.
"You know... Your form is wrong. You're too rigid... Anyone can defeat your stances and footwork..." Ezru said from his vantage point "You need to let the energy flow in a fluid motion from your stomach to your arms."

Yua moved forward, again to examine the irregular groves that she placed on the trees. She felt the appearance of another shinigami, like a tap and a slight breeze. She did nothing to show she knew, since most the area was a training ground and shinigami come and go. They usually didn't see her either, as she never likes to go up to anyone. Run it again, Yua thought in her mind, moving back from her targets and lifting her sword. She heard a sound, unsure of what is was as it was too far away. She runs forward, her weapon lifted with two hands and she swung it right into the tree. Yua then pulled it out and dashed back to her starting point and ran foward again and this time the sound - the crunching of grass - was clearer now.
Who ever spoke made Yua look up, who didn't expect anyone talking to her anytime soon - almost rammed into the tree she was trying to hit. She put her arms to her side and turned around.
"Easier said than done," Yua replied - more to herself in a way, who thought before that as being as short as she was, it was easier to move her reiatsu concentration from place to place. She knew by now that she was wrong, but it didn't stop her from doing anything different. She sheathed her weapon, placed her two hands together and bowed slightly.
"Hello, may I ask for assistance then?"

"It's more then assistance that is needed..." Ezru said as he moved silently and quickly to next to her "It needs demonstration. Come at me with an intent to kill... You will need it, and any other advantage you can muster."
Ezru smiled as he stood straight and cracked his back "You must always end up using the abdominal area to generate power for upward attacks and kicks. Energy will also be absorbed easily there... It is the Sea of Energy." Ezru said as he pointed to her stomach. Ezru then seemed alive as he smiled, spreading his arms wide, exposing himself to attacks "Come at me." Ezru added "I don't plan on getting hurt. I'll show you movement to exponentially increase power relative to your own flexibility and understanding of natural laws and forces."

I don't get it. Yua only understood half of what the man had said, but she got the main idea. She stood there for a moment, just to see if the person was planning to move back or anything before she had to strike. He didn't, but instead seem to shrug it off like it wasn't a big deal. He's probably stronger than he looks, and acts too, Yua waited for the shinigami to finish speaking before she placed one foot infront of her towards him. Reiatsu circulated around the leg as if to keep it in place as Yua moved both her hands to grip the hilt of her weapon.
At the same moment, she rushed spiritual energy up her arms as she unsheathed her weapon. Yua bent slightly over the leg she placed infront of her as she swung her weapon. In one motion, she drew her sword and struck at the same time - which was how her weapon was made to be used. The quicker she swung, the less time to think and ponder whether she should attack a man who had not yet drawn his sword.

Ezru said nothing as he smiled even more broadly and shifted his weight slightly as he dipped just three inches and raised his sheathed zanpakuto, unsheathing about three inches of it, just to block the attack.
"You should wait until the last moment to release reiatsu. You're expending too much of it, and you're giving away the form of attack." Ezru said simply as he then suddenly ripped forward, his own weight carrying him further and faster, pushing the attack wide with his slightly unsheathed zanpakuto, and releasing a wave of energy which roared with the fury of a wild animal at Yua.
Ezru then spun around, his movements increasing his power again, and he stopped mid-motion. "You have speed." Ezru said "The motions of water will help you become a better fighter and warrior." Ezru said as he smiled and stared unblinking. "You should also try doing endurance training for speed... And I will introduce you to someone who has the same gifts as you... She can train you to further your talents... I just need to find her..." Ezru's eyes remained fixed on her, they unblinking milky-whitness disturbing to some "Would you, by any chance, know where to find Kuraime Shihouin?"

When she struck, the weapon hit but didn't budge. Her eyes noticed that the man had moved; only slightly, but enough for someone close enough to see. Yua felt movement, easy since her strike was stopped so abruptly and knew it was a counter. Don't block, Yua reminded to herself. As her attack was returned, Yua tipped her sword quickly to the side to avoid a possibility of breaking her arms. She side stepped while doing so, the soles of her shoes giving traction as she slid back instead of being flung back. Lowering herself sword arm with weapon still in her arm, she dragged the hilt along to help stop her movements. As she came to a halt, she flicked the wrist of her lowered arm up to her side again.
"I take what I thought back, you are obviously just as dangerous unarmed as you are with a weapon to me," Yua observed.
Then Yua stood there, listening further with her sword still at hand. There were some familiar terms, such as what to train on. But, names of people were foreign to her. Yua usually watched others from somewhere far when they fight and such, never heard words or names.
"I do not," Yua began, "but those who train in speed usually reside in the 2nd squad don't they?" she added.

"Knowing her, she is most likely captain or Adjutant." Ezru laughed happily "Ah. I forgot to introduce myself..." Ezru bowed as he completely resheathed Real. "I'm Ezru Kimishima... Former Adjutant Captain of Squad 10, now unseated member of Squad 10." Ezru smiled as he stood up.
"Did you know that power doesn't come from physical strength...." Ezru said as he sat down " It all relies on your force of will and from how you use whatever amounts of strength you have..." Ezru grinned once more "Do you wish for some instruction immediately? I can train you on reaction speed, and actual battle training."

"I am Tsubame Yua, currently seated 5th I believe," Yua replied, her hands placed by her side, but her weapon still drawn. Ezru's former rank didn't surprise her too much, even though Yua knows at her strength there were alot of things that could take her down whether it be another shinigami or a hollow. How lucky am I? Someone as skilled as that is willing to help me. Huh, Yua sighed. She had spoken more this day then most, and she wasn't too used to it. But she managed to get a few more words.
"Why would I reject an offer like that? Assistance would be much appreciated," Yua replied.

"You must begin with a simple training..." Ezru said simply "You must survive. Against me." Ezru added as he unsheathed Real and went in with a semi-lazy thrust to Yua's chest. "I will not hold back too much once I get warmed up, so I would begin to learn." Ezru laughed as he added once more "Learn fast!"

Fun, Yua replied in her mind, her monotone if spoke out loud could have been taken in as sarcasm - it could have been just that anyways. Stolid as always, she pivoted her feet. Side stepping with her right and pushing as she lifted her left. Then once her left foot landed back on the ground, she moved her open hand also onto the hilt of her weapon. She almost had her back turned to Ezru when she finished the previous steps, the left side of her is closer to him. Then, Yua turns a semi circle with the aid of her ankle and the sole of her foot clockwise with her weapon held outstretched infront of her.
Right before she finishes the turn, she twists the weapon in her hand to the side so that the dull edge was facing away while the cutting edge would target Ezru. Yua lifted the sword in a position to strike and just before she halted onto her left foot, reiatsu wrapped around Yua's arms. Her foot was placed back onto the ground like a quiet stomp as she swung the sword foward, eyes watching.

"Good!" Ezru smiled as he made the thrust go low, burying itself into the ground. Using Real as a pole, Ezru then vaulted up, dodging her slash, and Ezru also lined up his leg, and let loose an axe-kick aimed at the back Yua's head. "But start moving as if your life depends on it Yua... it just might!" Ezru laughed as he continued to speed up his own movements.

Yua let herself catch the momentum of her strike. As she had swung and hit nothing, her zapakuto met no resistance. She moved forward with the swing, diving very close to the ground. Then, Yua again stuck out her foot to stop herself with a halt with her two hands holding her zanpakuto as parallel as she could to the ground so it didn't get stuck in the dirt. Her eyes darted to catch already a half-completed kick, coming downwards toward her and she lifted her weapon with the flat side facing the kick. The kick connected with the sword which richocetted vibrations through her arms. Yua felt herself being shoved back with a exceptional amount of force. She didn't was to collide with the foliage behind her, the trees she had been using her sword on. So she lifts one of her feet and using the tip of its sole, Yua uses the force from the kick that pushed her back onto the trunk of the tree to push herself forward to another tree trunk and back towards Ezru, this time aiming from the side.
Yua moves her weapon closer to herself until she was close enough in range to cut something. Then with two hands, she tipped the sword onto its cutting edge. The reiatsu already circulating, she swings her sword towards Ezru's shoulder.

Ezru glared at her, his own blood rising. "Bad. I told you that this would be ineffective." Ezru laughed, which turned suddenly into a roar of energy, Ezru's very own reiatsu being amplified into a howling wolf's head. The force of the energy would be enough to knock a 3rd Seat on his rump, so Ezru was not worried about this girl. Ezru quickly ran behind Yua, into the foliage, to see what her reaction would be to his roar.
Ezru suddenly felt a skyrocketing surge of Hollow-type reiatsu. "Arrancar..." Ezru said as his eyes grew to slits, and his teeth elongating slightly to points. "Must destroy them..." Ezru shook his head to clear his thoughts and then called out to Yua. "Yua, there is an emergency. I need you to gather all squad members and have them report to the Training Grounds... I need to have Revils sent here... He can keep an eye on all of you with his wolf senses.... I'll be at Evil's Office...." Ezru said as he sprinted off to his friend's office.

Bad? Yua wondered what she was doing wrong, but didn't get much of an explanation from Ezru. Instead, she recieved a shock of spiritual energy which seemed like a heavy blanket that fell from the sky. The sword held infront of her seem to get heavy as if something was pushing herself back. Yua immediately moved herself close together while she slid to the ground. It was a reflex and it felt as if she decided to lift her hands, they would sag from an invisible weight. She already knew that if she tried to stand, her legs would buck under herself. Yua didn't know where Ezru went, assuming he was faster than she was.
Well, it doesn't help if I don't know where he is, Yua was still close to the ground, on one knee. Only her head moved, her gaze averting from side to side. Then, she felt a wave of reiatsu she doesn't recognize. It was similar to a hollow but not close enough. Having a hollow here isn't normal though, Yua scrambled onto her feet, slightly surprised when she heard a voice. That man better not be a mind reader, Yua sheathed her weapon and covered her ears as she ran off to find the Vice Captain. The wave of reiatsu was still ringing in her ears.
