"Oh no, she's lieing. It was my fault we were in here." Reven said as soon as mina tried to stick up for him. He looked back as he was dragged out of the library. He was thinking how lucky that girl in there was to get away with something so noticeable. He wondered if Mina and himself would ever see here again. After all, this was a big school. After they were brought into the headmasters office, Reven became very nervice at the mention of expulsion. He was extremly quiet and he knew Mina knew that by now. He looked at Mina for guidance hoping she knew the correct way to answer his question.

Mina gulped as she thought, only to smirk wildly at him when he said that the Dark Lord had made progress in the war. "Purely academic purposes, after all Slytherin's turned into a din for the Dark Lord's purposes. I..." She looked at Reven in earnest before looking back at the Headmaster. "I know that Reven is the son of Death Eaters so I chose to assist him in joining their lot." She lied through her teeth, only to be interrupted by the door swinging open to reveal Storm.

The Headmaster was taken aback by the usage of his first name and was visibly pissed when Storm barged in. "Didn't you learn to knock before entering, child?" He said dangerously before glaring at Storm, his eyes turning nearly black. "And it's Professor Snape if you would in the very least give me that respect I might not kill you where you stand." He pointed his wand at her, only to have Mina rise and stand between him and Storm. "If you weren't sorted into Slytherin in front of me I'd say you were acting like a Gryffindor. Perhaps that old hat was wrong..."
"The hat wasn't wrong, you are. You think you can push us around and get us to do your bidding just because you happen to be Voldemort's right hand man, you kid yourself more than you kid us. He can, and probably will, kill you in an instant if you even breath the wrong way. That's the way he is..."
"You dear to speak the Dark Lord's name as if it's a common phrase, you deserve to be punished..." A sighing voice came from Snape, as if regret was the last thing on his mind, but a large silver thing came in the window, about the size of a mountain lion. "What the hell?"
"Leave my daughter alone..." Came the voice of the Patronus, lent by the caster that lay in hiding somewhere in the bushes below. "Before I tell your master that you're threatening students again. He wouldn't enjoy that news, Severus." The name Severus made his eyes go wide, he pointed his wand at the Patronus but it disappeared before he got out a spell to rid himself of the voice."
"That was strange, I remember that voice..." Snape muttered before turning back to Mina and Reven. "Reven, you are dismissed, don't bother to lie and cover up for this girl." He pointed at Mina before growling. "I do know Legenimency after all, lying does no one good against me. Get lost." He then glared at Mina for a moment before bringing a small folder out of a bag under his desk. "Lying to a professor, 10 points, trespassing in the Restricted section without permission, another ten, then there is the matter of the Dark Magic..." He said as he deducted points from Slytherin before putting his quill on his desk "Detention is not suitable for a child of the Resistance, you'd just get away with it and be considered a hero to your fellow students... No, I am thinking I'm going to show you what Dark Magic's really about. You prepared to defend?" Mina shook her head softly before Snape retook his pointed wand position. "Good because that's the first lesson, you are never really prepared for the worst... Crucio!" Before the spell hit his wand went flying thanks to a mumbled disarming spell. "You... Lied to me again, didn't you. But that was impressive timing for a beginner, but you won't be lucky twice, don't cross me again." He pointed at the door before growling. "All of you, get out!"
"Phew.." Mina said under her breath as she exited the office, Reven close behind thanks to her grabbing him again before he could say even more stupid things. "Well, luckily he'll leave you be about it thanks to your parents. Who knew that being the son of Death Eaters would actually work for your benefit."

Chris was in the library, looking for a good spell book to read.

The seventh year slytherin sat alone in the common room trying to decide what to do. She sorta like the fact that she found out the truth about the death eaters, but hated the fact that now she felt alone. Liz brought her arms out and gave herself a small hug as she stood and decided to walk outside the common room. Maybe she could find some students younger than her to talk to.

((I figured I'd bring Liz in. :3 Haven't roleplayed her in forever. xD))

Mina looked at Storm excitedly before shrugging "I'll have to ask permission but it should be fine. I think it's a great idea. As long as they..." She looked around carefully before finishing her comment. "As long as they don't mind a half-blood being around." She said this quietly before sighing heavily. "I guess they're trained that way but... It still stings when they talk that way." She sighed, talking more generally than anything. It was strange to already be speaking of Winter Break but it was in a month and a half so it was close... Or at least closer than it was at first.

Mina nodded simply before raising an eyebrow. "My mother... Right, they do rather detest the Resistance. As a Slytherin it is actually good to explore different magics. And what about this 'ball'? What in Merlin's name is that?" She said all of this- surprisingly- in one breath but not as quickly as you may expect. She then sighed out heavily before speaking again. "How 'direct'? As in right-hand direct or inner-circle direct?" She shrugged slightly as she said this "well, I do know a bit about how he organizes his subordinates, in the very least."

Mina blushed a bright reddish tint, her cheeks adopting the color before she turned away slightly. "I... Er... I um wouldn't mind that if Reven was okay with it. I have... Never been to a ball before, much less with a date." Her voice broke somewhat at the word 'date' but the sentence felt wrong. Why would she see Reven as anything else but a friend? She did find him kind and helpful but boyfriend material? Not really. Or... Not what she thought a boyfriend should be. "W... What is a boyfriend like? I mean, what do you think a boyfriend should be like?" She said this in a hidden tone, as if trying to change the subject to Storm's preference but men were where she was least experienced to say the very least.
