((....Oh my...))
Something distracts Mithras as he lines up his sights to take a shot....a distraction that costs him dearly in this simulation. The Angel takes his hesitation to full advantage, sensing his attempts and firing a large blast of energy aimed at the enemy, which in this case was Mithras in Eva-01. Direct headshot, seconds of agonizing pain, and then complete darkness.
Life Terminated. Simulation Aborted.
"That was great. " Mithras scoffed at himself in disgust, "...Maybe I should go back to basics. Computer, simulation change."
As he commands the next set of parameters, the scenery's digital pixels fall and dissipate like rain. Replacing the old images is a new one, a scene of an even older time. To the days of the Roman Empire and the Colosseum. A 2-man chariot spectacle with hundreds of thousands of people shouting and cheering. Mithras and his driver pay no mind, for their goal in this competition is to put an arrow into the other archers before they find a few lodged inside their own bodies.

Thankfully, Rhiu was able to slip into her meager dormitory without notice. She heaved a small sigh in relief as she gently closed the door behind her.
It was well into noon before Rhiu left her dorm again. Square, black-rimmed glasses sat on her nose, her once demonic horns were gone. Some might call it self-mutilation, but the centaur would like to say otherwise. Would anyone like to walk around with heavy, cumbersome monstrosities upon their foreheads? She had removed them, and gladly so. The young centaur was sick and tired of her frightening visage.
Her forehead throbbed now, but it was worth it. She had also dressed herself in more modest clothing, wearing a black and gold satin top with that cherished hardcover under her arm. And, as always, the black dirk she always carried around hung off her waist on a belt. Like yesterday, the girl started to wander the grand halls of the Order, engrossed in the bestiary.

Brynhildr roamed around, feeling some what tired but at the same time excited. She'd be going on a field trip, as someone she knew called it, around the island...a haunted tour, if one will call it. So many myths and legends the "guides" intended to have the students fulfill.....
*wonders if anyone notices that within the past three days she changed from pirate, to some sort of underwater creature and now some space person*

v.v I lost my phone.... organizing this trip to hawaii is gonna be pretty difficult with such limited amounts of possible communication. If anyone wants me to add their phone number to my next phone... >.>... send me a PM with it and I'll call you when I get a chance.

Oh and good to see you back and posting a bit Squall.
One last thing that is far from the smallest note; Rhiu, you're now a Holy Knight.

((Cool beans! A Holy Knight? ^^ And thanks, Mithras.))
It was taped to her door and clear as day. The simple vanilla coloured envelope was inconspicuous enough, but what it held inside is what really made Rhiu wonder. Or why anyone hadn't tried to rip it down prior her return, for that matter. Curiously, she looked to her left, then her right and tore the envelope down from the door. Shoving the book under her arm, she pushed her way into the room.
The centaur let the book fall with a clatter and preoccupied herself with the letter in her hands. She felt the thick paper between her fingers and tore it open with one swift movement, retrieving the piece of paper neatly tucked inside. Unfolding it, she could scarcely believe her emerald eyes. It read:
To Rhiu, knight in the Holy Order of Leo, You have been hereby promoted to the rank of Holy Knight.
And that was that, so simple and yet so effective. Rhiu couldn't believe it. She wasn't filled with unbridled glee or joy like she thought she would. Instead, she was left with a growing, burning curiosity. More and more questions seemed to flood her mind, but one stood out the most.
Why so soon, what did I do to deserve this promotion? Heaving a sigh, she glanced skyward as if appealing to the Gods. Somehow, she figured she might never know.

((I think I like the thought of a small in character promotion, so I believe I'll start by following up Rhiu's RP post))
Watching through a scry in his meditation, Maluc smiled as he saw Rhiu's reaction to the note he'd left her. 'Now for the real prize.' He thought to himself as he opened eyes and stood. Appearing inside her door without a sound, Maluc unsheathed a sword from his waist. "The letter comes with a gift." He said solemnly, holding the sword in a way to present it to her. "But of course, take it at your leisure." He said vanishing from the room, leaving the sword hanging in the air.

He came without a sound, nary a wisp of air. It was as if her materialized here at a whim. It had shocked her, greatly so and the centaur had jumped slightly, her breath catching in her throat. With slight awe, she watched Maluc, his white hair flowing around his shoulders.
With a sharp sound, the man had withdrawn a ornate blade from around his waist. In a fluid movement, Maluc presented the blade to Rhiu. She did not know what to think know, and her mind threatened to burst with questions. Furrowing her brows, she held her hands close to her chest, eying the holy blade with a certain fear.
Then he left as quick as he came, leaving the sword hanging idly in thin air. The swarthy centaur was not quick to take it, for she had demonic roots and most holy objects tended to make her fearful. Should she take it, or should she leave it there to rust?
The blade was beautiful-- it's hilt was of a golden hue which accentuated the pure-white blade with it's many scriptures inscribed upon the metal. A wave of trepidation washed over her, and slowly her hand wandered dangerously close to the golden hilt. Jamming her eyes shut, Rhiu took a chance and grabbed the sword.
Nothing happened. No giant band, no thunder bolt-- nothing. She brought the blade closer for inspection and soon she was lost in deep thought as her eyes examined the inscription upon it's holy blade.

((Greetings and welcome to the Order of Leo allooutrick ^_^))
Mithras wore the clothing and armor of a Roman legionnaire. In this simulation, all he has to do is take out the other archers while still remaining on his chariot. The shouts and cheers of the Colosseum crowd is so deafening that most people wouldn't be able to hear themselves think, but Mithras kept them tuned out for the most part.
The real trick is being able to hit moving targets while in motion. At the command to start, his driver races on to the first target while already dodging arrows that whiz past. One arrow flies straight and true, aimed at the driver's back. Mithras spots it in his peripheral, spins around to catch it, and with the momentum takes the arrow to his own bow and returns fire. All in one smooth, fluid motion. The return arrow takes out its original owner right in the jugular and sends him flying off his chariot.
All the crowds roar at the sight of first blood, but still Mithras has three more archers to take down. Like the driver, he crouches low to prevent himself from becoming an easy target.
