"Sit there and pretend to pay attention and mock the teacher?" She offered innocently, before he mentioned band. "What type of music?" Aki asked, immediatly curious. If nothing else, she'd always loved it, especially rock. The harder the better, as long as they weren't screaming the entire time. That just made her head hurt after about a minute.

"Well anything. Metal, jazz, funk. I got a rich heritage in my city. I play bass and drums and sing. Oh and banjo as silly as it seems." He said, scratching out an image he came up with in his head. A group of four animals. A big black cat, an aloof looking snow tiger, a white rabbit and a tall stag. He put it down and started drumming with his pens.

"Banjo?" Aki repeated with a smiled, shuddering slightly as she rememberd Jackson, Tennesse. "I hate that city... Not yours, one we got stuck in once... We had to pass through and none of the instructions made sense and no one had any clue what we were talking about and there weren't any signs. We finally had to ask some crazy old guy in a gasstaion and he knew where to go. Then we got stuck on a detour through the subburbs and I swear we could hear banjos..." she trailed off, shaking her head slightly as though to banish the memory. "Well, anyway.... You wanted air conditioning?" she asked, realizing she'd rambled again. What was up with her? She never did that. Then again, she rarely talked to anyone for this long at a time.

"Heh. I only play it for sake of keeping up speed. But yeah. air con would be nice. Or just going somehwere cooler for the next hour." He said standing up and lifting his tray. He pulled out an elastic band and tied his hair back before he walked over to the tray return and waited patiently to see where she'd go.

"Doesn't matter where. Somewhere inside, no people... That rules out most of the place. Might be better under the trees, even though that's outdoors." Aki said, shrugging. "Do you by any chance know how to fix a thermostat?" she asked after a second. She'd worship him if he did.

"I dont mind the outside. I can try looking at it if you like. I got some tools." Huilliam started walking out and opened the door for her. He wondered if the teachers would mind his absence. For about a nano second. He was pretty much prepared to skip a whole day if she asked him. Well, not the whole day but... He basically equated that with being a gentleman.

"Would you? Some crazy lady went and turned mine way up then broke it so it won't go below like, 80." Aki asked, smiling faintly in thanks as he held the door for her. "Anyway, do you need to grab anything first, or...?" she trailed off. She didn't know all that much about electronics. She'd skipped whenever they were going to be going over it in class. She didn't get or like it.

Tess looked to Arkell as she smiled to him and let him know she was going to go see Logan. Logan? Oh... That guy who fell on me and then passed out. he thought, making a bit of a face. He nodded a little and sighed as he slowly shifted to stand again. "Yeah. If not in some class, then at lunch." he murmured, and then looked off in the direction Sergey had gone. "I'll see you later." he smiled to Arkell, before going and throwing his plate away, and then heading off to catch up with Sergey.
It took Tess only a moment to think about which dorm building Sergey would be in, and then he went and checked it out, finding the bird-boy on the first try. A chuckle escaped from him as he trotted up. "Get freaked out by some girls?" he asked tauntingly, and falsely innocently.

"Got a pocket tool here. Should be okay for now." he said walking next to her. He turned his colour a sort of weird, electric blue with lightning bolt patterns. "I always did enjoy the old ZZZZZT stuff." Huilliam said pulling out the tool. It had more attachments than a swiss army knife.

Aki nodded, looking at him for a second and at his skin pattern before smiling, shaking her head faintly. "I'm curious. Can you get neon?" she asked, leading him to her dorm room. "Right here and good god it's hot in here." she said, opening the door then backing up, simply holding the door open for him. It probably wouldn't be that bad for him, but to her... She immediatly sent a layer of cold in, dropping the temperature a good ten degrees before following him inside. "Just tell me if I ever make it too cold." she said. "I forget that my 'cold' is everyone else's 'freezing to death'."

"Hell, I figure you'll know if my buns start getting too cold if I'm shivering. I'm still adapting new colours. I can get some neons. I still cant do metallics or ceramics.: He said opening up the box on the wall. He pulled out the lever, fuse and central pivot. the pivot was snapped and the fuse burnt out. "Dont look too bad. Needs a couple new parts. Just get the groundskeeper out this afternoon. If theres anything else it might be a damaged capacitor or variable resistor." He appreciated the temperature drop greatly. "Thats a mercy after my fever last night. Not wanting to sound clingy but y'all mind sticking close to me so I can benefit from this wonderful gift of yours?" he said standing up straight and lining up the offending parts. "Hey, you dont have a room mate. Lucky in some ways I guess, but I owe Matt and Candice already. They got me from sick bay last night."

Arkell saw him leave the building, and she assumed he had gone off to bother Sergey. She hoped she wouldn't have to set them on fire again. With a sigh she trotted over to where Logan was giving him a wave. "Hey Logan, you feeling better?" she asked curiously, sitting across from him.
Sergey jolted looking up with a panicked look on his face. He tried to replace the look on his face with annoyance and was partially failing. He crossed his arms gruffly leaning up against the building outer wall. "No, I ded not let leetle girl's 'freak' me out." he grumbled glaring at the dog boy.

"Will do. And, do realize I don't have a clue what any of that meant." she said with a faint smile. "What happened last night?" Aki asked, cocking her head slightly to the side and seeming worried.

Logan waved as Marie went off, and sighed as he worked on finishing his breakfast. He then heard someone else addressing him, and he smiled again as Arkell joined him. "Much." he said with a light smile. He guessed she'd seen what happened... well, guessing from being at the auditorium doors where a lot of people were, he was sure lots of people knew what happened. He recalled seeing her sitting and eating with Tess, and he had to ask quietly as he finished a bite of oatmeal.
"What's Tess like?" Logan asked softly, not knowing the wolf-boy had preferred to be called Bane by Arkell. "I mean... his memories... they weren't pleasant." he didn't know how well Arkell knew Tess, but he had to ask someone, and she was possibly his best chance at getting some of the thoughts circulating through his head, out.
Tess smirked, and then his smirk faded a bit. "Dude. What the hell?" he asked, giving a grimace. "If they didn't freak you out, what did they do to you? Pull your feathers and call you names? Ask awkward questions?" he stood up on two legs and crossed his arms over his chest, glaring back. He really wasn't sure what the hell he was doing, but it was obvious something was up, and it was bothering him. They usually fought, and at the moment Sergey was just being grumpy and nothing more.

Arkell grinned and nodded, "good, good, I 'm glad to hear your better." She smiled and then her face screwed up in confusion when he asked about Tess. "Who's Tess?"
Sergey gritted his teeth as Tess began to badger him a bit. "Ze just ask questions that...brought up things I vould rather not remember." His body tensed and he looked down at his feet for a moment before glaring up at Tess again. "Vhy the hell are you asking? Finding amunition?" he said coldly.
