As luck would have it, Ryugi was expecting an attack back, but not three projecticles. Boy was he in for some pain.
Wham wham wham!!!
One hit his right wrist, stinging like hell and causing him to lose the grip on his sword.
The second slammed into his left collarbone, not enough to break it, but enough to hurt quite a bit and to give it a nice bruise that was going to hurt later.
The last and final projectile hit him in the middle of his chest below his ribs. Right in the diaphram. That knocked the wind out of him, and with the surprise of Ferrex's cape coming undone, he fell backwards and landed on the ground.
Agh!
Ah!
Fwuh!!
FWUMP!!
Didn't see...that coming...

Ferrex was surprised, almost shocked by the sight of his opponent actually falling. He ran to his weapon and retrieved it. He repeated the same movement as he made before in the fight, a few quick hand movements at the end of his weapon, and then began to walk slowly over toward his opponent, with the blade of his weapon behind him, holding the butt end to the ground, picking up his projectiles, and looking down.
Need a hand up, perhaps? Despite the fact that I could continue at this point in time, I'd rather not return kindness with brutality.
Ferrex extended a hand down to Ryugi, a nonagressive, but cautious look on his face.

Ryugi took the hand and helped himself up, wincing a bit since he used his right hand.
Thats quite a weapon you've got there. You aren't bad at fighting either. Whadda ya say you and I call it quits eh? We've fought enough here. For all intents and purposes we could call it a tie and get ourselves out of this place.
Ryugi smiled and laughed a bit.
Besides, theres no point in potentially beating up someone I'd consider a friend.

He smiled and nodded at Ryugi, extending his other hand to shake Ryugi's.
That sounds more than agreeable. It would be an honor if sometime we were side by side as allies.
Ryugi heard a slight fluttering off to his side, and Niru took a seat on Ferrex's shoulder.
You're a pretty good fighter, Mr. Kazamaru. You appear to have seen many a battle, as well. But, before Ferrex and I depart, let me give you a small hand with the bumps from this battle.
The small fairy drifted over and placed a little hand on Ryugi's collarbone, and smiled, attempting to have the small lump slowly reduce in size.
There you go. You should feel a little better now. Anyway, definitely an interesting experience. We must meet again, Ryugi.

Sadly, the kind-hearted fairy's magic didn't effect Ryugi, but no matter.
Indeed, we should. And good luck to you two!
Ryugi then waved at the void began to vanish from view, as well as Ryugi himself. Soon, both fighters would be back where they had started, and things would be back to normal...

Who? Lazenca Miranda. The token wolf.
What? Waiting with hands on hips, showing impatience.
When? It doesn't matter. Nothing like this ever matters.
Where? Northern Etheral Void. The water here was abundant, but Lazenca was going to try and not abuse the hell out of it because... knowing his opponent, he wouldn't have time to do things like that. This was just... a level check. A skill check. How good was Lazenca matching up to the person that was easily becoming his rival?
Sakagami Reiko. "Come on..."
Why? Just because. Now stop asking questions.
"I'm ready."

(( You remember the hp stuff? Want me to send it to you again? Or.. something. ))
Reiko looked at wulf, straightened his black tie, tightened his bandana and cleared his throat before assuming a basic military style combat stance. Of the kickboxing variety.
"Opk."

His basic stance was TnG, left leading. He also made sure to be kinda close to Reiko- not so close that one could grab the other just out of the blue. Three feet was the closest 'resting' distance he was going to get, and would try to stay within that.
First attack was a simple jab-type... the left hand shooting out at Reiko's head, pulling back before contact was made... unless Reiko just stood there and let himself get backhanded in the eyes with Laz's claws.

Monseiru X First attack was a simple jab-type... the left hand shooting out at Reiko's head, pulling back before contact was made... unless Reiko just stood there and let himself get backhanded in the eyes with Laz's claws. Reiko weaved slightly to the right, and then shifted his weight to his left front leg. Then he turned his shoulders so that his left was forward and it looked as though Reiko was going to throw a left jab as well. He even turned his fist and just began to launch it at Lazenca's face.

Lazenca wasn't worried too much about the fist because of his right that was up and ready to either intercept or knock away Reiko's fist. To help it along, Lazenca moved forward into Reiko. Unless Reiko pulled back damn quickly, he was going to hit the right fist that was protecting Laz's face, and would be met with a straight to the chest a second after the blocked attack.

Reiko was faking of course. His fist went prettymuch nowhere near Lazenca, however.. Reiko pulling his fist back aided in creating more power for his real intent.
He immediately stepped in with his right foot as Lazenca came forward and gave a strong thrust with his right fist from ribcage level at Laz's gut. Hit or block, he would quickly skip back and await retaliation.

It hit, and Laz grit his teeth. He was already stepping into it, so there wasn't much he could do but bear that. But oh! there was gonna be retaliation for it... just not leading with that attack.
Reiko stepped back, Laz stepped forward, eyes on his opponent. Let's go about this a different way... Reiko's legs were active, and Lazenca needed to compensate for that. His left hand dropped more, a pre-emptive readiness for kicks and middle strikes. The right stayed up, fist rearing back. Then he leaned forward, and the distance closed instantly as Lazenca dashed forward. His left hand swept downward, and the right hand was up until he was inches from Reiko's chest. The right hand actually swept up, finishing with a punch to the middle of Ko's collar.

You're too open like that.
Reiko's left arm dropped across his abdomen like a scythe as he prepared himself. His right fist was up near his chin waiting for that moment when it could give the K.O. chop. But first he had to wear down the wolfmang. Too much close range would prove dangerous against someone potentially stronger than him.
Flicker jab... As Lazenca started forward, Reiko was already ready... his left hand shot out like a whip, first cutting back at the left side of Lazenca's head almost like a backhand. Then Reiko would shoot it straight like a regular punch then whipping it around for a semi-hook at the right side, then another straight. All quick whipping jabs to keep Lazenca at bay.
After the 4th jab Reiko would move around just a bit, to make sure he kept a bit of distance.

That 'flicker jab' is more or less what Lazenca started the fight with, actually. A quick 'stop standing still, let's get this thing going!' hit that didn't have all the power in the world, but would make the opponent react. When he started with it, Reiko reacted well- because he had the move in his arsenal, refined. But when Reiko used it, Laz was already prepared. The defense was already there- the sweeping hand. Rather than piston it with speed and power, Lazenca willingly brought it around, giving Reiko enough time to attack. A false sense of security, and Reiko more or less fell into it. He couldn't attack with Reiko hitting his hand instead of his head, but since the first attack failed, all other attacks would thusly fail just because Lazenca wasn't in a position to take them. Unlike before, Lazenca didn't just take the punch and let the hand go- his sweeping motion pushed the offending fist down, perhaps disorienting Rei for a second- all he needed as the fighter likely tried to take his fist back.
In all this, Lazenca was still moving forward, but without a punch to throw. So, he ended bum-rushing Rei with his shoulder, in the chest.

"Ugh!"
Reiko took the strong shoulder to the chest, but as he was forced back he curved his withdrawl to the left so that he would be somewhat outside Laz's right and behind him.
After doing so he brought his hands up again and threw a two consecutive left jabs at Lazenca's head, then he stepped in again with his right foot and threw a strong right fist from his ribcage at any bit of exposed midsection, back or front, that Lazenca would give after his body's response to the jabs.
