" Oh Sith... " Laura said to herself, with a slight expression of despair, seeing the little girl. She edged closer to Niomie, whispering, " Did you have any idea about this? "

Niomie turned her head to look in the direction that aroused the stormtroopers attention. Her eyes widening at the sight of Mareal, but it wasn’t Mareal she was staring at, it was the sight of the little girl holding a stuffed Bantha that had Niomie attention, wondering where she had come from. Her expression relaxed as Kalin spun his yarn for he Imperials, as she straightened out, looking but not looking at her captain as her approached the official and had a quiet, privet discussion with him.
Niomie could swear she saw the Imperils face turn a shade lighter in color. What ever Jag had said to him she didn’t want to know, unfortunately as soon as the inspection team had made their hasty exit Jag spun to face them all, his blaster in hand. Getting a worried look no her face Niomie knew she no longer wanted to be anywhere on this deck.
She almost jumped out of her skin when Laura spoke. Niomie shook her head.
“N-no idea.” She squeaked back quietly. Taking comfort in her presence she moved a little closer to Laura.

It was out of instinct that when Jag drew his blaster, so did she. It was tiny by comparison, but the holdout blaster was there for self-defense. However, she still didn't quite know why she also held one to the corellian's direction too.

"I don't vant any violence. It vas enough dat vee vere unexpectedly boarded."

She relaxed a little, trying to maintain the peace. Lowering the blaster pointed at Jag, she withdrew it back to it's holster. But her attention focused more towards the corellian; his intentions were pure, but if she was to act like a normal person, rather than with jedi patience, she might get found out.

"Herr Kalin, next time you decide to pull a stunt like dat, dink vith your head, not your crotch. I know how to defend myself, and vee could have easily shown who vee are vithout getting in trouble. But you had to jump in and bring attention. Even if vee vere arrested, the crew might hafe been spared, but instead, you risked eferyone."

She held the pistol flatly at him, unconcerned about what excuse he might peddle towards her way.

"Be dankful dat dee inspector vas blind. If he looked a bit, he could hafe noticed that dee child shares neither of our features. She does not share my accent, most likely, und I doubt she shares yours. Most importantly, I'm far too attractive to be your vife. Vee vere lucky dat he didn't shoot you for calling him a buckethead. I've seen dem kill for more minor insults dan dee ones vee called dem back in dee var."

She lowered the other blaster, and holstered it. She spun Tabula around, and went to a knee, faking a good look at her, while she circled around, pinching in specific areas on the body. Mostly it was to hide her whisper to the child.

"Forgive vat I must do next, child," she said near inaudbily. Turning to the crew, she placed herself between her and the child, making a loud announcement.

"She's malnurished. Und it vould be impossible to board in space. She either boarded on dis planet, or the last one. But herr Rood could vouch for me dat she has noding to do vith me. Despite dee rather hasty paranoid conclusions dat some of us hafe," she said, giving a glare to Kalin, "I vould venture to say she ist but a stowavay. Now eef you vill excuse me, I must find a blaster shop. I feel naked vithout proper gear for hunting bounties, and I've only got fifty credits on me."

While internally she felt really bad leaving the child to fend for herself, she couldnt' give away her jedi status, and more importantly, she'd probably be thrown off the ship if she tried to defend the girl. What's a woman to do?

Tabula took a hesitant step away like a scared animal, but once she determined that this woman was no threat she gave her her hand.
"Tabula." She said quietly to Laura and smiled a tiny bit.

Mareal had already left down the ramp while the corellian blew hot breath her way. She had more to do that was more pressing than listen to a guy whine. by her estimation, she required a replacement for her bryars and something with some stunning capacity if she was to persue the hunting idea that Jag had talked about. While it was true she had the uncanny knack of being able to find people with the force, her use had to be limited. This was a different time, one which very few appreciated the strength of the Jedi. Without her lightsaber, she already felt quite naked.

Tabula felt safe in Laura's hand and when the topic of food came up she became exited. "A-a bad man was chasing me." She said, answeing her question, "I climbed up the landing gear and...fell asleep."

"Anything!" Tabula chirped and squeezed her toy. "Um...I think I have to tell you something." She said sheepishly, "The reason the bad man was chasing me...was because...Im special."

Tabula's eyes lit up at actual food. As soon as the plate hit the table she was already shoving bits of food into her mouth, slowing down only to chew. She then lifted the glass and gulped it down untill most of it was gone and finished with a large gasp.
"Thank you, it's delicious."
