when you are supposed to be taking a science test (you know how when you take tests the teachers sometimes make you put some folders up so they know you don't cheat?) you read your book instead. Then when the teacher notices you weren't taking the test and calls on you, you say, "SIRIUS WAS INNOCENT!"

When you have a dream that you are a Harry Potter Character and you are trying to date another Harry Potter character (in my case I was a female version of Harry and I was trying to date Luna....I love Luna smile )

When you win a reading compitition just by harry potter books and dream about harry potter and talk about harry potter with your friends even though they dont understand what your talking about!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When you surf endlessly on Youtube for Random Harry Potter Fan and Wizard Rock Videos biggrin
When you see a toad and wonder if it can sing....
When you go to (insert any store name here) just to see if they have any Harry Potter stuff you can ogle and swiftly purchase....
When any movie with a Werewolf in it makes you think of Remus Lupin....
When you see an animal and think about how cool it would be if that were your patronus form(or your Animagus form respectively :p)...
When hearing Luna you automatically thing of Luna Lovegood...

PervyKirby reminded me of another one...when you want to write a final paper on HP related to another novel and can't because you can't find any sources on it...this happened to me with Dracula!

You know you're obsessed when...
...whenever your family members that are also obsessed come to visit you spend the whole time running around, waving your wands and shouting spells at each other. (Actually happens at my house 3nodding 'tis great fun!)
...you follow some of the cast on twitter.
...you buy tickets to the next movie hitting theaters for the day of its release for you, your family members, your friends, your friends family members, and your friends boyfriends two months before its release. (Was a very fun event in fact!)
...you join a harry potter guild on gaia and spend more than an hour in it every single day.
...you will not settle for paperback editions of the books because you know you'll still be rereading them in 50 years.

When you have to REPLACE your copies of the books, because they've been read so many times that they fall apart. (Yes, I've done that 3 times so far.)
