"I'm not sure. I'm going to find out where Silver is. I'm going to talk to him, no matter what it takes. I have to know." Kold seems different somehow. There's a ruthless determination in his voice.


A group of the soldiers walk up to the party. They seem quite interested with what Kold said.


"Halt. Did you mention a "Silver"? What do you want with him?"


"I need to ask him something....in person."



"Denied. No one is allowed to see the Land Walker prisoners, especially you all. We have a few questions to ask you. Come with us." The soldiers pull out what appear to be stun rods. "You have no choice in the matter."

Corbenik ceased singing and made an over dramatic shock pose. "Oh no, it's Zaft! Quickly, we need to find some teenage boys and convince them to pilot giant robots, it's the only way to stop them!" he exclaimed.

Kokujo scowled at the soldiers, none too pleased that there were hindering the groups quest. "....and what exactly are your grounds for this apprehension?" he asked coldly. He was surprised to hear that Silver had been captured. As far as mercenarys went, Silver was pretty tough, perhaps these ridicules soldiers weren't all talk after all. But still, Kokujo disliked the idea of being taken in for questioning by these people.

*Kyla sighs, wishing there was a better way, but she can't argue with Kold's results. She hurries after him*
So we've been framed. Who fed them that information I wonder. And besides, aren't they ignoring the fact that we have proof we weren't here. We were with Prometheus at the time. I thought he got us clearence and everything.

"We're here."

The group arrives in a field within a constant lightning cloud. They must constantly dodge lightning....or endure serious pain, whichever floats their boat. Fortunately the ground is pretty solid and seemingly made out of a rubber-like substance. If that weren't enough, the group is attacked by random monsters. They seem to have a similar rubber coating on their skin. Silver is located at the center of this place.


(And here we are at the "create your own battle" part again. Please feel free to go crazy and fight the rubber-skinned lightning breathing wrym type things. They're kind of like 5 foot long lizards....similar to those dragon things in FFX's Thunder Plains. Have fun. ^_^ )

*Kyla drops down on all fours to make herself less of a target for the lightning. She decides to use her fire and ice gauntlets for this battle. She springs forward at the nearest rubber dragon and slashes with a fire claw and an ice claw*

Kold dodges the first lightning lizard (calling it zapzard for short now) and draws Sohi to slice it in half. Three more come after it, but Kold covers them in water, then freezes it....stopping them in their tracks. He runs more towards the center of this place, signified by a large tower, slashing more zapzards as he goes.

"We're heading towards that tower. Silver's in there." Kold points to the lightning rod tower in the valley. A good sprint there will be enough to get there.

Kold slams one of the ice orbs into a pack of zapzards in front of him, squashing them.
