Leliarn frantically began running, or rather hobbling, as fast as she could, opposite direction of the noise. "Cmon!", she yelled to Ruo as she waved her hand.

Bats appeared, flying overtop of the pair. Running as fast as she could, she hid behind a tree, grabbing Ruo's shirt and pulling him under it. Leliarn held a single finger to her lips as if to warn Ruo to be quiet.

Ruo covered his mouth with a hand, nodding at Leliarn and sitting there, silently.

Leliarn watch the bats disappear and inhaling a deep sigh of relief she hugged Ruo. "Oh my gosh. What the hell was that?", she asked pointing to where the bats had been.

"I don't know, but I'm going to guess it wasn't interested in...us." Near the end of his sentence, he had reilized that Leliarn had been hugging him.

Leliarn pulled from Ruo, leaning against the tree. Leliarn's pale skin tinted a red color. "I-I.. I well, sorry..", she said chewing her bottom lip.

Leliarn nodded after a few moments, her nerves finally calm after what had happened. "I think we should be getting home soon", she said in fear whatever it was would return.

Leliarn smiled to the boy. "It was nice meeting you. Maybe we'll run into eachother sometime", she said nodding. "You don't have to bother walking me home, I think I'll be okay", she insisted.

Leliarn nodded, walking towards where her house would be located. Looking back she smiled and waved, "Yeah, see ya 'round", she called to the boy, disappearing into the distance.
