Lin thought about, she hadn't had the slightest clue since she had plently of time to spare now. Which begged the question of what she should be doing....
"Hmm... I don't know acutally... maybe I should go and ask Elros for more language lesson, I think he has shift later on in the day," she mused.
After all, she didn't want to run around too much otherwise she wouldn't be able to go with Aragost.

Adan looked up at Ryu. "Even if you go bareback you might use reins," he shrugged. "Do you use 'em?"
He turned to Feng. "They're in the tack room, right off the stable there." He pointed at a perpendicular extension of the stables. "So if you guys need reins then that's where we gotta get it from."

"Well, follow me then," Arwen beckoned, starting back towards the ranch at a far more casual pace than before. "I'll take you back."
She wasn't sure how well Lin knew the woods - considering how little time the girl spent there, and how much less of that was spent in the woods themselves.

The two looked at each other, since their hands had to be free, they didn't necessarily had to use them.
Feng shook her head, "No, we didn't," she glanced over at it.

"Alright," Lin replied following Arwen, "What are you going to do for the rest of the day?"
She had to look up at Arwen when asking this, it was hard to imagine that Arwen was probably around the same age in a mental sense as her. Since her friend of course was just so much taller.

"Oh, okay," Adan grinned, leading them over to the tack room and opening the door. "You're lucky. Ada won't let me learn to ride without tack til I'm bigger."
He headed towards the back of the room and pulled a bridle from a hook, then returned to the door. "This is mine," he told Feng and Ryu proudly, holding it up to show them. "Elrohir says he got someone to make it special for me, but he didn't say who made it. Neko picked it up one time when he went on a trip to the city for supplies."

Arwen grinned, her eyes lighting up with excitement.
"Train," she replied simply, though her expression showed the strength of her emotion. "Mama says that if I train in the day, then I can do my regular lessons after dinner, as long as I don't slaek off or skip them, like Ahren used to."

Feng grinned, "That's neat, you're becoming quite a big boy."
Which was true from Feng's point of view anyhow, Adan was growing old, which just made Feng want to stay with everyone for a bit longer.

Lin giggled at that until she realized she hadn't trained yet, "I haven't done any training yet today, but I'll probably manage to get some in if Aragost takes us on another lesson," she scratched the back of her head thoughtfully, "Not enough hours in the day... oh well. What does Ahren do now?"

Adan grinned proudly, then beckoned for the twins to follow him into the stables.
"Now we have to find horses," he murmured. "I'm gonna ride Brego, he's my favourite, even though he's getting kinda old. I think Asfaloth and Aron would be good for you though, they're nice."
And he led them directly through the stable and into the paddock, his bridle over his shoulder.

"He trains, too," Arwen grinned. "Mama still makes sure he does his lessons, but he does more training than anything. He doesn't like lessons. He has too much trouble sitting still for them and paying attention."
She shrugged. "I don't understand it. I think it's interesting. I just think it's better to train when the sun is up and the weather is nice, instead of wasting the time inside and then training outside when it's dark or cold or whatever."

Feng thought she had heard that name before, but she couldn't put her finger on it. Maybe she had heard it from Lin, but for certain she hadn't heard of the other two horses. Then again she and Ryu were mainly at Aliya's for their trips.
"Alright, but you're going to have to show us, since we haven't seen them before," Feng told him.

"Maybe he just needs to find something he likes to learn... to a reason to sit in his lessons, or just kept busy..." Lin mused.
She had to admit, she would be edgy too, but she was always absorb in what was going on, probably because she always had questions. Since she asked them, it was only polite to listen to the lesson being told.
"Though.... I think one day... I'll have to train in the dark and cold... otherwise I won't really know what it's like to be out there, but I can't. I don't think anyone would let me, too little."

Adan nodded. "Yup, I can do that," he grinned.
Once they were out in the paddock, he stopped, then put two fingers to his lips and whistled.
"BREGO! ASFALOTH! ARON!" he called, cupping his hands around his mouth.
A moment later three horses - one bay, two whites - came cantering towards them, and Adan grinned proudly up at Feng and Ryu.
He was a little boy - of course he was showing off.

"Maybe," Arwen agreed. "But he just doesn't like paper learning, I think. Mama says if she can't get him to settle down soon, she's going to hand him over to Aragost to teach instead."
She giggled. "Then he'll be good."
She looked thoughtful at Lin's suggested version of training.
"I don't think you have to train in the dark and wet, necessarily," she shrugged, "because if you do you're going to make yourself sick ... at least, don't do it that way until you're good. I couldn't do it, I would skid out on the grass and hurt myself."
For part of her training anyways -- her self-training. For weapons and fighting training, she would be fine. Was fine.
