Mika cocked her head to the side and looked at a blank card labeled simply -the devil-. Just a few seconds ago, she'd felt it spark to life inher pocket, she didn't know how she knew it came back, but it did. But, it was all blank, not a single beastie or monster was on it! Hoping her own flame wouldn't burn her, she ran over to the king.
"Hey ratman! I gots a quest!" She leaned down soon and hissed/whispered in his ear none too quietly. "If we can't kill him, can we trap him ?" Mika showed the king the blank card. "It seems like it'd make sense."

((Sorry, sorry guys, excuses: 1) I've been totally burnt out, if you haven't noticed...I don't think I've ever had an RP go so long without dying. Which is a thanks to you guys. But still I haven't been able to really concentrate all this week, so that's why it kinda sucked. 2) My brother has taken to hogging the computer. Those are my excuses. Forgive me. Lol. So I'm gonna catch up real quick so forgive me and please point it out if I make any mistakes. xD))
The sudden turbulence let Mickey get a better grip on his exploding mind. The fact that it took these clueless kids to get him back into shape mortified him, but he didn't show it. Still...what had he been doing, to let himself be flustered like that? He was supposed to be the experienced one, who always had the plan.
((Which is why I hate playing Mickey. 3nodding ))
Well he'd just have to redeem himself. He turned his attention from his sudden breakdown to Mika's plan. Inwardly he groaned a little at the return of the hyper Mika, but the fact that she'd had to resort to candy to keep up worried him. And yet this card...if this would help, they could make it before anyone became incapacitated.
"All right, Mika, good," Mickey nodded, ignoring the rat jibe once again. "Go ahead and try it out, it can't hurt. In fact, it could help us a lot."
He looked around, appraising the situation and who was available. Kiante was right, they obviously had to seal the keyhole...that was what they had come there to do in the first place. But how to get there without letting Genkoku in, and was the barrier to keep them out as well?
Without warning he launched his keyblade at the demon, running after it, trying to get him before he hit the kids.

Hagosha frowned again. Humans were a lot less capable than he had thought. And against this one...wouldn't they hurry up? Maybe he'd have to help them out a little prematurely. Kairi's progress was slow, too. How badly had the heartless hurt her memory, really, when they had attacked the world called Radiant Garden?
He moved forward slowly, hoping to get someone's attention.

Akiko felt ultimately useless and was wondering if she should just charge in and try beating the stupid thing up, still trying to think of some good spell. After all, what worked best against darkness? But then...could she use Holy, since that wasn't really a spell in Kingdom Hearts? Or was it...she couldn't remember...
She couldn't resist a smile at Kiante's suggestion of the very thing she'd been contemplating. Maybe she should stop contemplating and second-guessing like she always did and just try it. But...
"Keep it going, Mika!" she called out worriedly after her friend, and then said hurriedly to Kiante, "I don't know...is it an actual spell? And...and isn't that supposed to be a really hard spell? Would I hurt someone if I tried it and failed? Or would it just really suck... Or...I don't really know...I'm a bit scared," she admitted, glancing nervously at what was happening.
What she saw made her scream, and she immediately thrust her free hand in front of Kiante instincitively, not caring how useless it was, as she scrunched up her eyes, lowered her head wincingly, and threw her staff hand out. "HOLY!!" she cried.
((*pant pant* Oh yeah, and I don't know about Riku, no one's offered to take his part over. Don't even ask me to play him. -_-))

Kiante put his Keyblade out in front of both of them, guarding, and hoping he could keep the deomn close enough to get seriously hurt by this. He was glad Akiko had tried. But he did know that it may not be very strong. He hoped though, he hoped.

And at this moment, Riku walked into the clearing. He ran/jumped swiftly over to the backside of the demon, just as the flaming sword hit Kiante's Keyblade. "Looks like you guys've been busy." He placed a well aimed slash right on the demon's back. "Who's this?"

Genkoku roared in pain, he was surrounded by the enemy. How could he have let this happen? He thought with grim humor that it wouldn't matter much, at least his boss couldn't punish him. But, he was taking as many of them with him as he could. He heard the girl shout Holy, and he wasn't sure what would happen. He'd never actually seen the spell before. But he knew it would hurt if he got hit.
He backflipped over the new boy who showed up, then flew over to the mouse-king. He grabbed the king from behind, then liften him into the air, wrapping his body so that the king was completely suspended.
((You were gonna kill off Mickey right? Now's your chance. He can explode or something. I dunno, be creative. Then again, if you don't want to do that, it's your choice. And, I hope you odn't mind I just picked up Riku for now. He needed to be here.))

Mika completely ignored Zolx's advice, aside from what he whispered into her ear. "Hai!" she nodded sharply, before lifting the card up. Concentratin hard on it and focsing the greater part of her magic, she imagined the card opening like a gateway.
The card began to float in the air, glowing and spinning as it did so. little shots of magic spun about and off of it.
"It's ready, but I need some help!" Mika yelled out to Zolx.

Akiko frowned and flushed at the fruits of her effort: absolutely nothing. Luckily Riku had finally chosen to show up and help out, so they were okay, but the demon's close proximity to them both had finally hit reality to the still clueless girl. She finally realized they could die. And it would be permanent.
She wanted to scream with all the confusion and fast pace that she just couldn't keep up with...but she held it in. She realized that she had to stop being the blubbering little kid and do something. So Akiko set her face and tuned everything out, everything but the king lifted in the air and the demon holding him there, and the spell she knew she could cast if she could just set her mind to it...

The King gasped and tried to swing his keyblade at the monster, but it didn't help much. The sudden direct contact with the darkness sent his head spinning, and then all his effort was put into keeping his head on straight. He wouldn't fail them again.

Kiante took a step back and looked at all the different parts of the situation. He had a feeling the battle was about to be over, wether because the demon dies, or they all did. He stayed in a ready stance, his arm stretched out a little behind him. His body was confident, but his eyes were full of fear.

Riku ran over to Sora and Kairi, keeping his Keyblade ready. "What's wrong with her?" He asked of his friend.

Genkoku was getting desperate, a thing he didn't like to be. He turned towards Mika and her card, "If you capture me, he'll be coming too! I'd be careful what you do now!" He said. He flapped one wing, and Shadows started appearing on the ground beneath him.

White winged Zolx suddenly appeared before the card, time slowed for everyone. all sound stopped as he raised his baton and spread his wings. The ball of light from earlierfound it's way to Mikka and burst. Blue bubbles collected and absorbed into her, restoring her Mana.
((Lets see if I can do this right. First Limit of the RP is-))
"Noctune of Silence..."
As he said this the card began to gleam even brighter. Zolx began a slow 4/4 count as small portals were brought into existance before him, swirling in black and white. Zolx made and reaching motion and thorns bloomed from the portals and wrapped around Genkoku. They began pulling him closer as still more portals opened and released more thorns to bind him.
Zolx raised his hand again for a pause and motioned to Mikka queing her solo.

"Oh endless void," Mika chanted, her voice returning to it's 'normal' state of calm; but this time it was powerful as well. "Open thy gates and take this lost soul into thy arms!"
The once blank card shone with an eerie light and began absorbing the demon. It pulled at him relentlessly and Mika could almost feel the dark magic entering her card.
"Endless void, take back thy childe!"
