As GAvSim is down now, I got really bored and so if anyone wants to preview their avies in the new outfits (only girls, sorry sad any guy who can get me all the images I"ll do it for though) can copy this and white out the gray area, then just put it over a pic of your avy. I have got bits and pieces of all but the dollie set, but I"m doing that now in case anyone's interested.

...are thread advertisements allowed in here? ninja I hate to break the flow, but no other guild I've been in has helped me with this. http://www.gaiaonline.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=6921701Help me out here, guys. Besides me and a random CB regular, no one has posted on it since it was moved to the EF.

Not much.
Just had an interesting convo with my friend.
Her: "I really don't see where these religious nutjobs come off with this cr**, but I think they're just following Bush. The antichoice movement didn't pick up until he came into office. Our country's made up of mindless idiots."
Me: "I'm prolife."
Her: "WHAT??? How can you be prolife? You're smart!"
Me: "I must be Bush's pawn. Or it might just be that I'm too smart to take at face value what people who are making their living off of something are saying about it. I mean, if your means of living was being threatened, wouldn't the first thing to do be to stop the rumors, even if they were true? It's like Disneyland."
Her: "You can't be serious! You're a girl, so why would you want your rights taken away? Next they'll take our right to vote."
As you can see, she's going with the main arguments.
Me: "Well, I hardly think that Susan B. Anthony and Elizabeth Cady Stanton supported women being unable to vote, and both of them were firmly against abortion. Also, think about what abortion does. It puts pressure on pregnant women that wasn't there before. Now there's a legal alternative to pregnancy, so if you're a company, and an employee gets pregnant, which is more cost efficient for you? If she gives birth or if she has an abortion? One way gets you much more work from her. And it isn't abortion. Then there are the rights of men to consider. Think about it. They have full reproductive responsibilities. They must pay child support and all that crud. But no reproductive rights. Their lives can be determined by the woman. Their futures can be determined by the woman. That's not exactly fair."
Her: "But that's not right (firing women for not having abortions) and it'd never happen."
Me: "It does happen."
Her: "It's probably Bush's fault anyway. Can you believe that about New Orleans? THat's so sad!"
That's paraphrased a bit but it's how I remember it. Very smooth topic change.
