Shaon looked around, using trees to help guide her because she was still thuroughly exhausted and felt tired. she was glad Zy was alright though. he seemed awake, and she was glad he wasn;t saying anything, she let her mind wander

Zy looked up at the sky, he breathed in the cold night air. "How far is the city?" He asked Shaon noticing something different about her.

"Quite a few days with a mild amount of cities between. that way we can rest up without the chance of lookign suspicious." she mumbled, keeping close to the trees and letting her eyes dart around. she always got terrible paranoid when she was without a lot of sleep.

"Ha! You don't have a very good record of not be suspicious." He said; remembering the last two villages they encountered. Zy calculated the distance in his head. He gave up after several failed attempts.

Zy sighed and continued walking; keeping a close eye on Shaon. "You sleep good?" he asked; noticing her movements.

"Oh." He said looking away. He brushed off thoughts of what she might have done while he was sleeping. Now that he thought about it, he couldn't remember his dream; which was weird for him.

Shaon breathed softly, her eyes flittering to the outlines of shapes around her. she was becoming terribly uneasy and wondered if they were being followed. she glanced back at Zy for a moment, making sure it was him.

"You okay?" Zy asked her looking concerned. " You need to rest??" Zy looked around after specking to see what Shaon was looking at.

Zy wasn't convinced but didn't express it. "Alright." He surrendered. He wasn's about to force the baby to nap. He simply just shook his head and walked on.

She stopped after a bit, using the tree as support. "you hear that?" she turned to him, body seemed frozen. she was silent for a bit. "the sound of soemone following us..."

Zys hearing was just as good as her, but he didn't hear anything. "What do you smell?" He asked with a with a worried look in his face. News of a vampire and lycan working together to kill would spread like wildfire; It was only a matter of time before they look for us. He thought to himself; not telling Shaon so as to not worry her.

"Smells like vampires..." her entire body was quivering, she couldn;t stop shaking, unable to move. "they smell hungry..." she choked, fear lancing through her.
