(Capital then.)
Diplomacy Check: Diplomacy:13 Roll:12+13=25 vs. Raine's check.
Akio nodded at his introduction, his face apparently impressed "A Ninja then? Capital. A pleasure Raine." he followed the boy, looking around like country bumpkin at the buildings and crowds of Oto. He wasn't putting on an act either, he positively adored seeing new sights, and this was his first time in Oto, indeed, his first time in a real ninja village.
"Oh no, no, not from around here," he responded to Raine's question. "As I said, I'm afraid I'm just a bright eyed young traveler out to make his fortune. I'm here to pick up a specific order from a craftsman. Did you know the people of Oto make fine instruments?" he looked upward curiously, as though suddenly wondering something. "I wonder if they started before or after this village of the sound was founded...hmm..." he chuckled "Something to think about eh?" He turned his gaze ahead, his eyes still entirely sincere. "I come from my families holdings in the west, I-" he interupted himself to bow his head slightly at a passing young girl, his entire attitude falling a tad more gentile. "Miss..." The girl giggled slightly, continuing to walk on by, and Akio turned back to Raine, speaking as if there'd been no break in his speech. "-struck out some time ago to travel the world. I'm somewhat of a jack of all trades really, but a performer above all." he sighed "My old violin had fallen out of redeemable shape, and I was forced to get rid of it..." he shrugged "Que Sera sera I suppose..." he then seemed more up beat again "And after all I had the luck to arrive the day of this celebration, that's more than something."
Akio talked quite a bit once he got going, but it was only because he was so delighted to speak to people, some found him annoying, but more than a fair share didn't seem to mind him, even if they themselves couldn't place why.
He finally directed the conversation toward Raine "And what of you then my friend? Do you hail from Mother Rice and Sister Oto originally? You say you are a Shinobi, are you a then a Genin? You seem a bit young for Chuunin, or are you still in schooling? I know very little of Shinobi myself, do you find it a difficult profession? Is it normal for one as young as yourself to join their ranks?" He then seemed to stop himself "Ah, I do apologize, my Aunt always told me that I ask too many questions." He managed during all this to maintain a stroll of sorts. Though he was keeping pace with Raine, he still seemed to be in no hurry.

Entering the cool darkness of the city, where all the den of celebration lay far behind him Raine slowed his pace to a lethargic trot, unzipping his pant pocket and pulling the heavy harmonica out. It was warm having lay against his body for so long and even through the dim lighting he could glance a gleam from it's polished body. Smiling at his newly won prize Raine pulled the instrument to his mouth and blew gently. A gruff, high pitched hum reverberated on the stone around him and sang for a moment after he had pulled the metal from his lips. He smiled to himself a the thought of learning to play his new instrument. Happily he pulled it once again to his lips and blew once more, sliding the metal in his hands just as Hatchi once had. A surprising honking like sound came from him in a few terrible notes. Quickly taking it back as if in embarrassment Raine frowned. It would be a long while before he could be good enough- Quick footsteps in the dark smashed into the alley, where Raine walked. A tall dark figure smashed forward toward him. The small boy was taken a back by this unseen offender who was towering over him. Now raising his hands. Too stunned to move Raine just stood wide-eyed as the hands fell on his shoulders, which instantly hardened beneath his skin. The massive figure shook him harshly his head flinging about on his shoulders. The small boy clutched his harmonica and the latter so tightly his knuckles whitened, hardened fists forming around them. There was only anger in the small boy now. "Give me everything you have kid!" the voice bellowed down to Raine whose bare teeth not gleamed in the dim lighting a moan of anger escaping his throat. The large man, moved his murderous grasp down the small boys arms to his hands, ripping at the Harmonica and the letter, desperately trying to grab what the boy may posses. The sound of the envelope ripping in half went unnoticed by both Raine and his assailant. The genin now furious he whipped his small, yet very strong arms with so much rage that the harmonica and half of the letter snapped back to his own person. Throwing both to the ground quickly Raine whipped his Aian Nakkuru from his pocket and slashing them out in the dark. Raine sliced out at the massive figure before him. His trained movements hitting with precision and power. Warm liquid sept over his fingers when he sliced out with the knife, a howl filling the chilling air. While his knuckles reverberated with force as he crossed a powerful punch with the iron knuckles into the torso of his foe. Following quickly by an equally powerful hook. "HUA!" Raine shouted out with his last blow following his first with the weight and momentum of his body to maximize his power. Luckily this man was untrained and merely relied on his strength. Adrenaline pumped through Raine's veins and his vision focused in on some of the features in the darkness. He saw agony and anger on the man's face. Would he try and fight back?!

The man cringed with agony, buckling over himself, as blood gushed from his arm and metal met with his gut. He moaned in pain before turning his agony up at Raine.
"You ******** kid!" He shouted before raising his hands up and lunging for the small boy.
Raine's eyes widened for a split second before he was taken down, the hard pavement meeting his back while the man held him down. Rasing his fist and smashing down into Raine's face.
The Tekkenseisai boy struggled from under the force, blood streaming down over his cheeks, leaking out from his nose and filling the back of his throat with the taste of iron. "Auh." he sprayed speckles of blood as he exhaled deeply. Squirming under the weight of the mugger Raine pulled up his blade and struck out at his face. The cool metal meeting with teeth and a SNAP! as the attackers front teeth cracked. The man screaming with agony abandoned his grasp on the boy and clutched his face. Quickly Raine hopped up and flung his right fist into the man's chest.

The mugger was still for a moment and Raine sat for a second wondering if he had accidentally killed the man, hopefully he was just unconscious, but Raine knew he was strong enough to kill. However, after a low growl of pain the boy knew his mugger was neither dead nor unconscious. The man's head began to sway and he flung his hand out slowly, for a pathetic attempt to hit Raine once more. The small boy leaned back and stood quickly. Wiping blood from his face as he gasped for breaths. Quickly he grabbed his Harmonica and the remnants of the letter. Just now realizing that his mission had been ripped clean in half. Not stopping to worry just yet the boy turned back to the man who still wobbled on the ground, "You-" he thought he might yell something back, but everything he thought of really wasn't worth it. Shaking his head, Raine started at a run for the street lights were he might be safe enough to walk.

(All his stuff's like that. He's good. It reminds me of the James bond openings. It's just cool even if you don't know why. Well, I mean obviously "You know my name" is cool because it's a cool song, but I meant the older ones with Peirce Bra-however you spell his name. The Smoother bond, as opposed to the more bad a** bond.)
An old drunk man stumbled through the alley, singing a rather unusaul song. "OOHHHH Hey sweet lady of wayrest...OHHHH hey sweet lady of mine-" his voice was broken and he didn't seem to have much balance to speak of. The old drunkard wobbled to where the unconscious assailant lay, his eyes oddly sharp for one drunk, though it was difficult to see in the shadow of his hat. His foot bumped into the the fallen man and the drunkard gurgled "Meh! Watch where you *hic* take a NAP there...Mister!" the old man stomped on the failed attackers face a few times. While inside his head, the old man was swearing.
As much as a Toorima swore.
'Bloody fudging troglodyte!!' He was less then seconds from switching to his full on Phantom attire when Raine had dispatched the man by himself. 'No form! No artistry!! AND MOST OF ALL NO MANNERS!!! ARGH!!!' the drunk man's expression was furious for a moment, his foot now jack hammering unto the man's face in, while admittedly not hard enough to cause lasting damage. Finally the old man seemed to calm, spluttering "Heh heh...that'll *hic* Learn ya." he then continued to stumble contentedly, his drunken persona returning. Toward the other end of the alley.
The man's bad form aside, Raine was certainly more than he appeared. Good fighter indeed. 'Hehe, I can already tell I'm going to like it here.'

The young boy stumbled quickly forward, his chin held high as he clutched his bleeding nose closed. The street now illuminated with an orange glare. Raine stopped for a second to catch his breath and reorganize himself. After a few minutes of standing awkwardly with his neck craning up towards the stars his nose stopped and he wiped the blood away on his black clothes. He was relatively clean enough besides the tale-tell pink stain around his nose and on the tips of his fingers, he didn't mind much though and moved on to examine the letter that had been ripped. "Ah darn." Both the envelope and the paper were ripped in half. Sighing he pulled the peaces of paper from the two halves of envelops to see if the message had been too badly damaged to read. Placing them together the words were surprisingly very legible.
Sana,
We two are old hats at this game aren't we? Ironic that they would be put on the same team. I bet you're surprised I'm still alive, and when you read this, you'll probably be horrified.
You've gotten weak, you and your husband. But I still know how you think, I know you and I are still the same. So I'll make this perfectly clear to you. If Xenon Maboroshi dies, I will kill you, your husband, and your daughter. Likewise if you tell Xenon anything regarding me, I will kill you and your husband. He knows nothing of me, and never shall.
One day, when he is strong, I shall ask you to kill me, until then, you best watch over him Sana. If not for your daughter's life, then for the sake of the hearts you've broken, and the friend's you betrayed.
-Hika"
Raine stood for a moment his eyes wide as he stared at the name of his teammate. Quickly going over the letter again, the boys visage turned to confusion and surprise. Surely Kimiko was mentioned as well indirectly, he could gather that, but who the hell could right a threat like this?! And what could Xen be so terribly mixed up in.... Raine let the paper fall from his gaze to stare out at the housing district above him. Having read it, Raine wasn't sure if he should keep going or just turn and run as quickly as he could. The boy shook his head, that wouldn't be possible, it was obviously in everyone's best interest for whoever Sana was to receive the letter.
With another deep sigh, Raine pushed forward, his head hanging low as he pondered what exactly could be going on.....

Akio's eyes went wide through his disguise. As, his cover still holding, he'd been pretending to be lazily leaning against the wall, his expression seemed to focus on nothing in particular. Yet despite this apparent daze, the expression his mind wore was far more serious.
The letter had been ripped open during that scuffle, and his innocent messenger boy had read the message. At the very least, it seemed the letter was not booby trapped, but at the same time, from the look on the boy's face, it wasn't exactly a casual correspondence to a friend either. No... the information on the letter had troubled the boy... indeed... now more than ever Akio's curiosity was aroused, as well as his conviction to see where this led. Straightening and giving pursuit yet again, he followed the boy into the Housing district...

Lag ran into the village, where everything seemed to have dissipated for the most part. He glanced around. He didn't see Hiro, and Xenon and Kimiko left, too. He darted his head around and looked for Kasuke. He was unsuccessful. Lag ran to the nearest building and started to scale the wall. From this height, he scanned the area for Kasuke. It took him a bit, but finally he laid eyes on the man he was looking for. Lag jumped from the edge of the building, grabbing a pipe that clung to the side. He slid down the length of the building and gently pushed himself through the crowd of people. When he had stopped, Kasuke stood before him. Lag then remembered his fear of power. Lag drifted behind Kasuke, following him like a puppy dog. Eventually, out of fear of being mistaken for an assassin or something, Lag spoke up. It was hardly a whisper, but at least he managed to force something out of his fear induced state,
"O-Oto.. Otokage Kasuke-sama?"

(Missing some rolls in there Hiro-kun?)
Kasuke wafted gently through the crowd of villagers, who were clapping, yelling, crying, and laughing. He try to stay back and watch the people but men and women came to him to shake his hand or throw a nasty look. The growing split between opinions could grow into a problem if he didn't work on it. Some thought he was too soft, even weak in his ways. While pondering his politics and methods the man failed to notice the mouse of a boy swiftly trailing him and his thoughts were only broken by a small voice carrying to his trained ears.
The kage turned back to find the boy and smiled. He was very young and looked very timid in his speech.
"Yes, Otooto(little brother)?"

((I.. Guess. I'll roll next time xD))
Lag stared blankly at Kasuke for a moment or two. "Otooto?" he thought to himself. He shook his head, pulling him out of his confusion. "My name is Lag" He stared at Kasuke more. He wavered back and forth slightly as bodies brushed past him. He then snapped back into attention, asking what he had wanted to this entire time, "Where can I go to become a genin? Where is the teacher? I want to pass the academy" he blurted out in quick succession. He gulped and added, "If.. If that's all right with you, of course." He drew in a deep breath, feeling slightly dizzy.

( crying We don't have an academy or teacher!)
Kasuke smiled, joy filling him as he watched the tentative little boy go on. "Very nice to meet you Lag." It seemed like an odd name, one from a rural background he guessed. As the small boy went on though he frowned; the academy was in ruin....Kasuke leaned down and smiled once more. "I'm happy to see someone so enthusiastic about becoming a shinobi, but there is a lot you have to learn before you can become a genin." he nodded his head with complete sincerity and seriousness, he in no way spoke down to the boy in front of him, instead he looked him straight in the eye and spoke as if man to man. "Oto needs many brave ninja and I would be honored to welcome you into our ranks. However, being a shinobi is a lifelong endeavor that is sometimes cruel and painful. It will not be easy." he sunk his chin lower with this and the wind whipped up around them a bit. "It is also the greatest honor to become a shinobi though. So if you're serious, and I mean really serious, you'll report to my office tomorrow morning and begin your training as an academy student." With that he stood to his full height and looked down to the boy. "Again, little brother-" the man had already grown toward this nick-name,"Very nice meeting you." His head sunk in to a customary bow of one of a higher rank and he turned back to the crowd to oversee his people once more.
