I love living in Washington- almost never a need for air conditioning(hence why no one has one! lol) and almost every house/apt has a fireplace. Plus I love the mountains and woods. xd

I don't have a fireplace..Then again, I live on a different continent..Only a few people I know have ACTUAL fireplaces.. there are too many bushfires around here, and a long drought..and it's never really cold enough to warrant a fire. Unless you're out camping that is.
It rained today. Really heavily. It was sunny and warm in the morning though..

Most people just have air conditioning and heaters. And you learn to bring a jacket and umbrella with you no matter when or where you are, because we usually have all seasons in the one day. blaugh

It's problematic now..since it's just started to be Daylight Savings.. My brain is conditioned to go to sleep at 10, and wake at 6 or so, but now it wants to sleep at 11 and wake at 7 because the times have been pushed back an hour..

The day before, we had this party-like thing..Well, the end result made me feel as if I'd meditated for four hours straight. It felt GOOD!! It was the day before Beltane.

It was basically music..really loud..and a lot of crowded I-can't breathe-properly people dancing. But having a whole lot of fun, and after awhile it wasn't as crowded or terribly loud. So it was good.

But everyone was dead tired the day after. Some people didn't even turn up to school! (It was a school event.) Most came late.
