Chuckling he turned in her arms, wrapping his around her, his hands sliding down past her hips. "Only almost darling? I was on my best behaviour the whole time."

She laughed and put her arms up around his neck, pulling him down closer, nuzzling his cheek.
"Akki must be worrying. You haven't been home in going on three days."

Po laughed, trailing light kisses along her neck.
"Somehow darling, I dont think she's noticed. I did call her to let her know things were ok with Jak and Suru, and she was over the moon about a date with her Larry."

She shivered softly, hugging him close, murmuring, softly,
"I'm so glad everyone can finally be happy. Even Ophelia should have a hard time trying to find something to be depressed about, Saber seems so nice."

Po grinned down at her. "And here I thought you didnt like the poor fellow."
Leering at her suggestively, he scooped her up in his arms. Carrying her to the living room, he dropped her on the couch, his eyes dancing wickedly as he pounced on her.
"Now love, everyone is paired up, so you can stop worrying and start thinking about me."

She laughed and pulled him down by the collar, kissing him hard. After a second, she released his collar, looking up at him, genuinely concerned.
"Have I been neglecting you? I mean, truthfully. I know I get caught up in worrying sometimes . . . . "

He kissed her tenderly, his hands cupping her face as he answered.
"Darling, how could I possibly be neglected when you havent left my side? You know I've been concerned too, its been hard on all of us."
"As a matter of fact, I do believe I should leave your side long enough for a shower...unless...." He leered at her again, his cheeks red.

Her face turned bright pink but she managed to stay in control, barely, raising an eyebrow and looking up at him with a sort of curious expression,
"Unless what? You know for a fact that if I even suggested actually coming with you, Powell, your head would explode from all te blood rushing to your face."

He pouted, his eyes sparkling as his hands held his chest in mock pain.
"You wound me my love...you know me too well I think."
He nuzzled her cheek , his arms wrapped around her.
"I should go beautiful. A shower and clean clothes sounds pretty good. I'll see you later...Akki's having her dinner party Sunday, she'd like you to come."

She nodded, nuzzling into his chest and hugging him close for a moment before letting him loose,
"I'll do my best. Mum's got to work, so no promises. If I'm not there, apologize to Akki for me, no?"

When Suru returned home at duck, it was fairly unlively. The girls were both in their rooms, doing whatever it was that they did. He sighed and decided it was probably a good time to get some work done. He went upstairs and got the current chapter he was working on, and slipped out into the back yard to work.

After hearing no one go to answer the door, Ophelia pushed up off the bed, padding downstairs, and pulled the door open. She smiled, brightly seeing Jak, and a little tentatively at Lacuna, who was virtually a strange.
"Jak! There you are, I didn't get the chance to say goodbye before. Looking for Suru?"
