Kira opened up the door and quietly walked inside. She instantly noticed the many rows of large cages, all which appeared empty. She walked up the to counter, Kei and Kai perched upon her sholders, and rang the bell.

The sun shawn through an crack in the curtain and spilled onto the sleeping face of Maeve. She squinted momentarily and then shot up in her bed.
Shock ran through her head. Where was she? And why was she in such a lavish bedroom? She sat there bewildered, wondering what to do.
