(I'm happy with those definitions. Fiasco is a troublemaker, only time will tell as to what kind. I'm steering the story towards the rabbit hole. If I say something weird happens, it really does. Somewhere along the way I got promoted to GM, so, I'll throw in some puzzles later.)

Fiasco opened the car door and the cat leapt in. He tossed the block of wood into the back then dropped into the front seat, still clutching his left arm. Pulling his hand away, he reached over into the glove compartment. He left a bloddy hand print on the handle as he pried it open. "You knew where they were going to be. You KNEW what time they would be their. You KNEW they were packing. YOU KNEW!" He found his voice rising as he spoke to the cat. The force of his words not even making the cat flinch. He rumaged through the compartment getting blood over all of it's contents. "You plauge me with your hints and warnings, and yet you fail to tell me of their guns." He pulled a small towell from the glove box and started wrapping it around the wound. "Care to explain why? Or maybe your trying to get me killed." Fiasco for some unkown reason didn't find it strange that the voice he heard inside of his head was the cat.

The cat, who looked far more like a cat now than he did before (and nothing like a goat), spoke"You knew that violence was going to come of tonight. You knew the possibility that they would have weapons that you did not have access to. Perhaps blame is better placed elsewhere. Did I not just save your life? Be happy for the now. Worse is comeing." The cat spoke evenly until the last part. His words reeked of mystery.

Fiasco tore his belt off and strapped the towell to his arm. He started the car after wipeing his hand on his shirt. He put the car in drive. He growled the pain away as he drove down the street. "I hope your a dream." He muttered to the cat.

The cat turned to regard Fiasco with wise eyes. "I wish you were."

((oh okay lol. my bad))

And finally, a little while after, Traci was let off work. With a smile she flounced out of the cafe, and quickly frowned as the cold hit her. Stupid, stupid cold. What good was it for anyway?

Hm...it wasn't too terribly late...walk home, or...well, not much else to do. Traci sighed and commenced her home voyage.

(lol, I eagerly await, oh fearless leader! Hopefully this might lead more into what you're going for.)

Khyn jogged for a few minutes and was soon rewarded by the sight of a bus at the nearby stop. She breathed a sigh of relief as she quickened her pace to a full-out run. With the night air cool upon her flushed cheeks, it took her a moment to fully understand why she was getting no closer to the bus even though she was running. That was because the bus was moving from the stop and down the road.

"No no no!! Dammit!!" She cursed and ran after the departing bus. It picked up speed and she slowly faltered to a stop, hands grasping her knees as she hunched over. She stood there catching her breath for a moment and then lifted her head. Her surroundings sunk in and she mentally panicked for a moment. The streetlights that weren't broken, flickered on and off, on and off. Graffiti decorated brick walls and the shops on either side of the street she was now on had bars on the windows. Definitely not a part of town she wanted to be in.... nor was it a part of town she was familiar with.

She looked around quickly and then headed straight the way she'd already been going. Since she knew the way she'd came, the only way to go was forward. She walked at a quick pace, her shoes crunching softly upon the gravel road. She kept her head up with her eyes constantly darting around. The wind bit at her bare legs and she reached up to pull the zipper of her tracker sweater all the way up to cover her neck.

Overhead, a streetlight flickered erratically and suddenly went out. Distant lights cast a eerie glow around her and for a moment she thought she saw the shadows near one of the buildings move. She peered at it as she walked by but there was nothing there.

"Already imagining the boogeyman, Khyn!" she whispered to herself.

Fiasco drove on, despite the pain. He and the cat made no effort to converse after the cat's last statement. Not until things started to change that is.

The cat's head jerked up suddenly. "Pull the car over, your world is passing through another."

Fiasco stared at the cat incredulously, "I'm sorry, did you say that..."

The cat turned to regard him angrily, "Stop the damn car."

Fiasco shrugged his shoulders and puled over to the side of the road. It wasn't until his car came to a complete stop that he began to notice the change. Street lights going out all around, he could only stare out the window impassively. He turned slightly and accosted the cat "I think I'm in shock. Whats going on?"

Blinking, the cat turned away from Fiasco. "You know how a long time ago your solar system passed through another?"

Fiasco nodded his head. "Yeah, they pounded the hell out of each other. We won, we stole what was left of their mars."

The cat turned to Fiasco, and had a look of pure confusion. "You have a strange definition of the outcome of the volatileness of that particular event. In any case," the cat shook his head as if to rid his mind of Fiasco's comment "Imagine the same thing happening, except instead of two solar sytems, it's two planes of existence."

Fiasco resumed the head nodding. "Are they going to pound the hell out of each other?"

"Damge to both planes should be minimal. In fact most everyone from at least one plane will phase out of existence breifly. They won't remember it happening at all." The cat looke out the window to see the combineing of both worlds complete. "All right, you can drive now."

"Well" Fiasco began "since I have your permission." He put the car in drive and took off down the road. No other cars impeded his journey. After a few minutes of driveing he noticed a lone figure walking on the side of the road. His headlights bathing her familiar form with luminesence.

((What?? I have to start being creative?? Ahaha. I shall try biggrin ))

Traci stopped. The street lights were flickering annoyingly.

And then they went out.

"Crap," she muttered. First it's cold, now it's dark. What a wonderful walk home it will be. Freaking power outages.

Traci sat stubbornly and pouted. Now what? She wasn't going to move and bang into something.

She stood back up. This was pointless. The only thing she could do was keept going, so she spread her hands out and walked cautiously forward.

There were noises sporadically sounding all around her. Traci's heart quickened as her paranoia kicked in. She started to walk just a bit faster.

Ryu, walking home and finally free of the inane principal, noticed a girl trying to move in the dark. Ryu was practically nocturnal, and could see in the black as if it were daytime, so she walked over to the girl and set her hand on her shoulder to make her flip. "" ((When are used, it means she's speaking in Japanese.)) " Now." She removed her hand from the girls shoulder and walked past her, continuing down the street, then stopping about 12 meters away from the girl. She couldn't see all the way down here, but Ryu could see down there, and she was ready to make sure she didn't come any closer.

Traci gasped and jumped massively, and then laughed, embarrassed, when she saw it was just some chick.

She heard weird words coming out of her mouth. Oh my gosh. Was that Japanese? She could actually recognize a few words. "you" "here" "isn't" "good" "you" And the rest was gibberish.

Then the girl was gone, or at least as far as Traci could see. She scuffed the ground in frustration. She didn't even know where the heck she was, with her atrocious sense of direction. She just stood there for a while, trying to figure out what the heck to do. Too bad she didn't have her book light or her Gameboy with her...for once. Just her luck.

After a while, Ryu started to feel bad for this girl. So she switched on her pen light that she never used anyway and tossed it to her. Ryu didn't know much English, but the few words she knew and the light would be enough. "You leave now. Here not good place for girl." Then she turned and descended into the darkness, her spunky blond hair waving behind her.

Weaving through the alleyways in the general direction of her rundown shack of a house, Ryu realized that the brunette girl was the least of her problems. She could barely speak English, but she was going to school tomorrow. Also, she was coming home only now, and would probably be about a minute off of getting home. This would imply worried and severely pissed off parents who would beat the stuffing out of her, then throw her outside like a day-old wet noodle. And the pen light. Her parents would be mad at her for 'losing' it, even tho she never used it anyway.

The girl had broken English. A real Japanese person? Awesome!

Traci called hesitantly as the girl left. "Arigatou." She wanted to say, "Are you sure you don't need this?" But wasn't sure if the other girl would understand. So she left it at that and shone the light around her.

Ah. That made sense. Now she had some idea of where she was. And where she had to go.

The random Japanese chick was right. This wasn't a very great part of town. Traci shivered and caught up to the girl.

"You mind if I walk with you?" she said slowly, hoping she might understand. "Just until we have to split up," she added quickly. It would just be such a comfort not to have to walk alone.

Ryu stared what seemed to be blankly, but then said "Is okay." She turned and stared into the darkness, her path already memorized from when she had gone shopping for her family. She didn't mind awkward silences. Most people did, but for her they settled peacefully. Even tho there was someone else there, the silence left her with only herself and her thoughts.

((Meh....WB ish on my head as a brain sucker, and it's starving.))

There was a slight moment in time when everything seemed to... to stop. Khyn's breath froze in her chest and everything went black. The air around her thickened as if it were made of tar, and she thought she could feel it enclosing her like a cocoon. Suddenly, the moment ended and once again she could see and breathe. She shook her head, disorientated. The flickering streetlights made her feel as if she were on a bad acid trip. She stumbled a couple of steps and then everything returned to normal.

"What the hell?!" She whispered to herself. "What just happened?" Khyn shook her head again then wrapped her arms tight around her chest. The wind buffeted her, pushing her forward. She began to walk the way she'd been heading. Minutes of walking through shadows and flickering lights passed. Suddenly, the way before her was lit from something behind her. The sound of a car's engine could be heard. She moved out of the street and to the sidewalk to allow the car to pass. Another minute went by and she started breathing quickly as fright took over. Her back stiffened and she started walking faster. The car kept pace and then screeched to a halt. She heard a car door open and then slammed closed.

"Hey... Khyn!" She heard a voice say and she turned. She held a hand up to block the glare of the headlights. Relief came over her as she recognized Fiasco.

((I re-read Fiasco's post, and he never said 'Hey Khyn'. It was 2 words, but it's still godmodding.))

((>.>))

Traci smiled and nodded, unsure of what to say next. She decided to try out her Japanese. "Uhm... " she attempted.

She glared at the shadows. They were really starting to creep her out, making grotesque shapes and hiding everything from her sight until the light banished them.
