"I do not know who they are, but I know they exist to protect the lives of Kitsusagi's. And do not worry, I know how it is to be new and everything around you can be quite frightening. But you will learn. I'll leave you to get cleaned up, I'll be in the kitchen." she said, leaving him in the bathroom to give him privacy.

Phoenix raised his ears high over his head attentively as he listened to Morgana's statement, wishing he could find out more. It would be very interesting to learn about those who existed solely to protect the lives of others. He briefly wondered if she was talking about police or some kind of law enforcement, but shut the door to clean himself up properly once she had moved away. Besides, he could always ask later.
Half an hour and a shower later, Phoenix finally emerged from the bathroom again, combing back his mess of damp hair. His short tan fur dried relatively quickly and he had placed his pants and shirt back on, but the longer hair on his head and his tail fur remained damp. He bristled his feathers and shook his wings - they would also remain damp for a while, it seemed. It was uncomfortable, but he could deal with it.
"Hello again," He grinned as he made his way out to the kitchen, dumping his blue suit top and tie on a nearby chair. "Thanks for showing me where the bathroom was. You've been nothing but a help since we met. It's a real blessing." He raised his nose to the air and sniffed, immediately licking his lips.
He knew that smell anywhere - FOOD.

Morgy had made her way to the kitchen to find some food, knowing the ordeal they went through would probably leave him hungry. She had rummaged through the fridge and was surprised to find leftovers to make burgers. Deciding to make those and hope he wasn't a vegetarian, she soon had the burgers down and had set two on separate plates on the counter.
She looked over as she stood on her hind legs, front paws on the counter and she smiled happily when she said she was a blessing, that was the highest compliment any Angelic could get! "I made us some food, burgers! If yo don't eat meat, there is fruit in the fridge if you would like some."

Phoenix sniffed the air again, wanting to confirm that his nose wasn't lying to him. He knew burgers when he smelled them, but he wanted to make sure that what he was smelling wasn't just a figment of his imagination.
When Morgana spoke to him about the food she had made, his black tails wagged happily behind him.
"No. no, no! It's alright! I have no problem with eating meat." He said quickly, wanting to convince her of the fact. He especially didn't want her to remove the food from the counter again. "You made burgers!" He exclaimed happily. "They're my favourite!"
He immediately picked up his plate and began to chow into his food with gusto, almost behaving like he hadn't eaten in years. His eyes closed with his happy state, tails still wagging behind him, seeming absolutely delighted.

"Hehe, no problem at all, I am glad I happened to make your favorite food!" she said with a happy smile. Scooting her own plate away from him, so he wouldn't grab hers, she ate hers at a slower pace.

The spiky-haired male finished his burger off quite quickly, partially due to the fact that he really liked it, and partially because he had been hungry. After the burger was completely devoured and digesting in his stomach, he began to lick the plate clean with his rounded pink tongue.
"I'm glad you did, too!" He said happily. "Maybe you read my mind." He set his plate down in the sink once done, then picked up his suit top, then began to shake the dirt off it.
"Who would have thought the colour blue attracted so much dirt." He mumbled. "So uh, have you been around the place long?" He turned his attention to Morgana, curious. "Were you born a Kitsusagi, or did you just... arrive, like I did?"

Morgy was half way through her burger when he finished off his and she giggled lightly as she watched him lick his plate. Feeling full with what she ate so far, she pushed her half eaten burger to him so he could have the rest if he wanted, "I was born a Kitsusagi, I even have children of my own, a son and a daughter." she said with a smile.

"Is she going to eat that?"
That was the initial thought that ran through Phoenix's mind as he watched Morgana set her plate and half-uneaten burger down. He raised his ears happily as it was slid towards him and began to move towards it.
He hesitated. The human side of him was mentally telling him that it was unhygenic and rude to eat other people's food, but the Kitsusagi side was saying "food, food, FOOD!!". He was still hungry. The Kitsusagi side obviously won a moment later, as he soon found himself picking up the plate to devour the second half of the leftover burger, black tails wagging.
"Oh, you have kids?" He said inbetween bites, curious. "Are they a lot like you?" He began to lick her plate clean once finished. He stopped again once he realized what he was doing, and quickly set the plate back down on the counter, acting as if nothing had occured at all.
"I mean, um..." He said nervously, grinning at her. "Are they as friendly as you? I like kids, but only when they're well behaved. Not so fond of the brats..."

Morgana chuckled lightly as she watched him devour the rest of the hamburger she offered him and she sat herself down, curling her tails around her paws, "Well, I would like to think they are like me and my mate combined, though they are not longer children, they are teens now. My son seems to be more like his father though, friendly and outgoing, if a little clumsy with his landings." she said with a smile and a small giggle. "But my daughter...she is another story. She is going through an awkward phase right now and is so very shy of anyone that isn't family. But I know when she is finally an adult, she will be beautiful."

Once finished with his eating, he licked his lips, removing the remaining traces of food from his face. His ears were raised high as he listened to Morgana, smiling as she described her children. She certainly seemed happy with them, he could tell that from the way she described them.
"Hehe," He grinned. "I guess the flying thing is something that needs to be practised by all of us with wings, huh? They sound like good kids." He nodded. "Don't worry about your daughter - I'm sure it's just a phase. I was a really shy kid myself. I also used to cry a lot. Fortunately I grew out of it."
"Must be weird having kids, though." He continued, grooming his paws. It felt weird to do so, yet right at the same time. "I don't think I could ever do it. I barely know how to treat other people's, let alone think about what I would do with my own."

Laying herself down on the floor, she folded one paw on top of the other, a gentle smile on her face, "Well, if you are new with wings, it will take practice to use them. But don't write off having children of your own, just because you haven't had them before. They can be quite an unexpected joy in your life." she said.

"I don't know..." Phoenix began, trailing off, blue eyes drifting towards the ceiling as he looked thoughtful. "I never really thought about it before, I guess. I'm still a fairly young guy, and I haven't had a girlfriend in years. Not since, well..." He bit his lip, not seeming to want to discuss it. "I just... well, it's weird, you know?"
He sighed. "I'm not going to write it off, but I just don't think I'm ready for it right now. I don't know about it, there's nobody I really like right now. Besides, even if I did... if I could, well, um... how am I going to..." He looked down at his paws, nodding at himself as if to indicate to his form now. "Well, er... like this?" He pinned his ears back, looking rather embarrased now.

She chuckled lightly, "Don't worry, there is no rush for you to find a mate. And when the time comes, you will know what to do, I believe you to be old enough where I don't have to explain the birds and the bees to you!" she said, laughing a little bit.

"Well, I uh---!" Phoenix visibly flinched at Morgana's words, looking even more embarrased now. "N-no, no, you don't need to teach me that! I know about... well... you know!" He swallowed hard, lowering himself back down onto all fours. "Trust me, I'm an adult. I er, you don't need to educate me there."
He gave a nervous chuckle, and scratched the back of his head, grinning like mad, trying to diffuse some of his awkwardness.
"What I meant was... I was a human before, I think I'm still thinking like one." He sighed. "It just seems a bit, well... weird. To um, find a mate that's a Kitsusagi. Do you know what I mean?"

"Unfortunately know, I have been a Kitsusagi all my life, but I do know it must be awkward to go through such a strange change. But don't worry Phoenix, you will learn all you need to know about this world and your new body all in due time." she said, padding over to him to pet his head.
