Staggering a bit from the three sided attack Chorin seemed to be in poor shape as well. "Damn, Definately need to apply caution, Steven no more rock throwing not now not ever." Taking a defensive stance he looked to gaorin and nodded then preceded to take a defensive position his shields blocking his now damaged torso and head.

Gaorin manages to chop his warrior down, and defends himself so skillfully there's no real point to roll the combat die.
imperial takes a single point of damage from the war dog, but he regenerates it. Cho doesn't take any further damage. Cho is pleasantly surprised to not have to use an AP for Shield Bash, as the War Dog is hit by a huge teamup of three characters, and isn't a very defensive creature.
After the battle, you are very badly hurt from the teamup attacks, but victorious.
Gaorin: 5/15 Life, 1 AP, 4 MP.
Cho Aran: 5/30 Life, 2 AP, 4 MP.
Steven: 13/25 Life, 4 AP, 4 MP.
imperial: 10/20 Life, 1 AP, 4 MP.
Party pool: 4 AP, 4 MP.
Searching the goblins, you don't find anything as advanced as a map. Still, with them out of the way you are able to do a thorough examination of the area, and discern that the path leading down the river and away from their territory has not been traveled lately, meaning they were moving from the other direction. It doesn't look like they had caught much, so they likely hadn't been out for too terribly long.
Interestingly enough, two of the warriors had what looked like crude hatchets, formed out of iron ore lashed to a stick. You don't think it would have been very effective at much of anything, but it could likely chop down a small tree or cut chips out of a larger log given enough effort.

Gaorin sat dressign his wounds with a cloth he ripped off of his clothing.
"So we take the path deeper into the territory"
Gao wasn't too thrilled at following the hikkori leaf from earlier but its not the first time he has accepted such bad luck.
"We should take the hatchets as well, I know they are next to useless but its an old Arbirian* habit"

Cho Stood still feeling safer yet no less in pain from his many wounds. "Never gonna buy a dog after that..." Looking at Gaorin he grinned. "Guardians have a saying as well, save what you can Make sure you have a good understanding of what you can save and what you shouldnt."
Pacing now he looked at steven a bit disgruntled. "Interogation of a goblin is like asking a tot to kick a dragon to the moon. Perhaps in the future you may considder more carefully the lives of your group over the possibility of renewed conflict."
Sighing deeply he began examining the extent of his injuries. "Gaorin your hikari leaf say we should rest up a bit or go marching into the depths of goblin filth?"

Steven nodded to Gaorin when he mentioned taking the hatchets. Who knew what use they could come to later. He gave the camp one last sweep, before seeing there was nothing left.
"I think we should all rest first. That way, if we do encounter another load of goblins, we'll be prepared. I'll take first watch over the camp." Steven said, with a certain air of arrogance and imperative. He wasn't known for his polite disposition, but no-one could argue with results.

Gaorin sat down next to where a camp fire was recently "I take it your not one for putting your faith into the gods, or at least not my gods, when the Godess of death, Miaka, fell in love with a mortal farmer..." Gaorin begins a long story about his races superstitions about the hikkori leaves.
During this conversation Gaorin attempts to restart the campfire.

You guys break out into camp to rest after a pretty rough early fight. Despite all the odds you actually manage to get some sleep in the field, and taken together with your meal and your earlier resting you each regain 5 Life.
Still, halfway into the night you wake up to the sound of splashes in the river; very loud splashes. They sound random, more like flopping than stepping, but it's a safe bet the river isn't doing it by itself. After contemplating for a moment, you realize that the wind outside your tents is very strong. It howls through the trees and batters the canvas of your tents.
Just when the night seemed forboding enough, you hear the loud, piercing scream of a goblin, followed by a splash, followed by more violent splashing. The wind dies down and all that remains is the sound of a violent struggle in the water.

Steven woke up at the sound of the splash. He looked to the others to see if any of them had noticed. He was curious as to what was making the splashing, but was wary that it may be best not to find out. He, silently, asked the others what they thought with a questioning look.

Gaorin opened his eyes, still disoriented from his sleep, but instincts told him to remain silent. grabbing his dagger, gaorin pokes a very small hole in the canvas towards the lake.

hearing the scream chorin bolted up in the tent smashing his head into his shield accidently. "The gods take my cursed luck." Strapping on his shields he waited trying to spy shadows through his canvas tent. "Try to ambush me huh?" Licking his lips he waited feeling like his tent was being watched.

Imperial woke up after hearing the sound of splashing. Getting up slowly he backs away from the camp and into the shadow of the forest
