I will NOT watch that new animated trash they're trying to pass as quality Transformers. I hope enough people complain about how horrible that looks and/or no one watches it because in my opinion it's better not aired at all than having it clogging up the TV show space.

If you don't mind some polite dissent, I think that's a pretty hefty finger to point, considering that we've seen, what? Two minutes of footage, total? I mean, for all any of us know, the show could sport some really sharp writing and decent plot and characters. We don't know, because we haven't seen any of it yet. I'm sure plenty of people thumbed their noses at Beast Wars originally, too, complaining about how it was 3D and featured none of the G1 characters. Beast Wars went on to win an Emmy, not to mention a good-sized fanbase.
And "clogging up the TV show space?" What top-quality television shows are they airing Saturday mornings that this show could possibly bring down the quality of? The 4Kids dub of One Piece? Naruto? Sonic X? If that's what's supposed to be considered quality TV, then we've got a much bigger problem than the new Transformers show.

They could have a good storyline, but something like the poor animation they have can ruin the whole thing. There are two things that can ruin a show for me and that's animation and voice actors.
As for the clogging up part, I don't normally watch the anime that's on anymore because, well, were it is not crud it isn't intelligent either or attention grabbing either. However, it could prevent any other potentially decent shows from coming on because they figured they'd get better ratings because this thing has a Transformers title slapped onto it.

Poor animation seems like a bad reason to hate a show before even watching an entire episode. While I will concede that presentation certainly plays a role, it doesn't necessarily mean that animation that's a bit lacking can condemn a show. I personally don't think two minutes of footage is enough for me to hold up the crucifix and go OH MY GOD GET IT OFF MY AIRWAVES!!1! And worrying about it tarnishing the reputation of a proud tradition of half-hour long toy commercials animated shows... Well, I'm not sure if there's much left to damage after Cybertron and Armada.
In response to the clogging, I don't think the presence of Transformers: Animated is going to steal a spot away from a cartoon if the network execs feel it's a good show. There's enough reruns going that they'll find a spot for it. And if Cartoon Network doesn't pick it up, there's plenty of other stations to choose from. The search for new material is an ongoing one.

As I said before, the animation and voice actor presentation are my own pet peeves in things that ruin shows for me. That's my own personal opinion and I'm sticking to it. I personally will not watch it, but if some other people do and find it entertaining then by all means go ahead and watch it. But to me it seems like a step down in the many 'generations' of Transformers.

"If you find it entertaining then by all means go and watch it" is a bit of a change from your original statement of hoping enough people complain that it gets pulled from the airing schedule before it even premiers, which is what I took issue with. I'm very sorry if I offended you, but I'm saying that you have the right to change the channel when it comes on as much as I have the right to tune in and then draw stupid comics making fun of the latest episode/fangirl over what happened. I mean, pulling this thing would deprive me of material, and then I might actually be forced to draw things commenting on something relevant.
And even if the downward spiral trend continues, then I'm still going to be happy, because it gives me some kind of perverse glee to watch the fandom explode into wankfests over this kind of stuff, and I'd prefer to be well-read so I know what the good people over at fandom_wank are talking about. I mean, as it is, I can already almost smell the crowds of indignant fans ready to take up arms over the fact that Optimus Prime is minus his faceplate. This is going to be A+ stuff.
And if it's good, then even better. I need new cartoons to add to my weekly lineup of TV shows to watch. I mean, David Caruso a la CSI Miami is already practically a cartoon character in his own right, but he can only do so much. :p

Well, I knew that there will people who want to watch it and will like it. That's always a given with every show, however, I do hope that a lot of people complain about it. Does that clear it up? Or did I just put you back into the realm of Brianna is a confusing hypocritical person?

Actually, you're just making me hope that you end up storming the Cartoon Network corporate building while simultaneously performing song and dance numbers. I demand at least one romantic duet, an epic montage ending act one featuring the whole cast (along with some fireworks and a giant flag to be waved), and Michael Ball has to be involved somehow.

Now you're merely mocking me. Though as much as that sounds like a fun trip to be had, I'm afraid I'll have to let you down. I don't want assaulting a Cartoon Network station to be on my permanent record. What would my employers think?

I'd call what I'm doing "playful ribbing" more than outright mockery. My last documented case of mocking was sending a friend of mine a note informing him that he'd been inducted into the No Cussing Club in light of his foul mouth, and a checklist citing his ownership of tight Italian jeans as one of his offenses.
And anyway, I save my intentional insults for people I dislike. I think you're cool, so I wasn't setting out to make you think that I'm trying to undermine you or insult you or whatever.
On topic: Prowl's design looks very pointy, and that concerns me. Some kid's going to put an eye out on him. Also, if Disney has taught me nothing else, it's that evil people are pointy. I think Prowl is keeping something from us.

Ah. I see. Well it's good to know you don't dislike me then. lol
Well Prowl truely would be harmful if he was crafted and painted in China. Lead poisoning doesn't sit well with the stomach I hear. Though on the subject of him being evil, I always kind of thought the name sounded a bit Decepticon-ish. I mean, what good guy "prowls about" anyway? XD

Nah, I think you're cool. surprised
Prowl's new design... It just looks intense. Like at any given moment, he could pick up a stool and beat somebody to death. He used to look friendly, or noble, or at least respectable. He just looks mad at the world now. I hope he at least maintains that attitude he had in the other universes. Otherwise I'm going to name him Pointy McLeadpoisoning and sever his ties with his past incarnations in my mind.
But Prowl lives up to his name. In your neighborhood. When your blinds are open. The next time you see a pair of headlights shine into your bedroom for a second.
That thought just made me get up and close my curtains. D:

As soon as I can, I'll set up the DVR, and if it stinks, then at least I can say I saw it- regardless of if I can watch it at the airtime or not.
