Reno looks to the semi-destroyed Inn... Then looks around...
_There's nothing around... Oh, wait...
He then runs inside the house of the late Doctor Gast.
_Oh, don't worry about that...
Axel raises his hands to the sky, then suddelny lowers them to the sides. Bursts of fire, starting from right behind him and going through both sides, and keep going until they close in a large circle surrounding both Axel and Lashawna. Then, two more bursts, ths time with two full circles outside the first one. Then the flames of the circles raise to the sky, the snow inside the circles not only melts but completelly evaporates, and the ground starts cracking and gets a shining red, an the cracks start glowing like if pure magma was flowing under it...
_..I don't want anyone in the middle of our fun!
He stands up completelly and smiles.
_While you were talking to yourself you said your name was Lashawna, right? Well, guess I should present myself the right way... Hello, Lashawna! My name is Axel, also known as Flurry of Dancing Flames. I'll be your executioner tonight.
He then raises his arm pointing to Lashawna with violence.
_Commit it to memory... Because it's the last thing you ever will.
Flames show up bellow the pointing arm and besides the other, and start rotating until they become a big circle. Axel them holds them, and the flames show up to actually be two metal chakrams covered in fire.
Axel bows his legs a little, assuming kind of battle stance, and starts throwing one chakram to the air, making it spin a little and catching it when it gets to his hand's height, at a time.
_Your turn, miss.
Yeah, I know he can call the stage instantly... Dramaticity, my friends...
And it is just evil... Not only the wall hurts, but staying on it hurts too... Good thing it can be temporarilly destroyed with the keybl...
Lashawna is in a bad place...

She shakes her head. "One for dramatics? Ok ... you want an introduction?" she places her hand on her chin. "OH. I am Lashawna, born of Cetra and Esper blood, maiden of fire and ice, protecter of the planet and the Holy within." she holds her staff in a defensive mode." I think if anything will be anyones last, it will be yours. I hope this battle may be worth it to you, Axel."

_Oh, I know it will...
Axel starts walking backwards until he enters the flames as if it was nothing. Then, his voice can be heard as if it was comming from everywhere on the arena.
_You know, you have a nice voice... Can't wait to hear you begging for my mercy with it.
Then, the two chakrams jump from behind Lashawna, one from each side, and fly in her direction, one lowering itself to her hip's height and the other to little bellow her elbow's.
_Let the party begin!

She takes notice to the chakrams she bats at them with her staff. " not that easy." she holds her hand up and summons a ball of ice. it turns into crystals, that shoot kinda circular around her. "you hot blooded little demon, you need to cool off a bit." using that as a distraction she teleports behind Axel, swinging her staff towards the back of his head.

Axel grabs the staff, open a hole in the fire barriers they were inside and throws her with violence back on the hot floor.
_I CAN STAND THE FIRE WITHOUT ANY PROBLEM, BUT NOT YOU! I mean, I think you don't, who knows the rules of magic on different worlds... BUT THAT'S NOT THE POINT! HOW CAN I HAVE FUN FIGHTING YOU IF YOU SET YOURSELF ON FIRE! IF I WANTED TO JUST KILL YOU I WOULD JUST HAVE MADE A SHRINKING FIRE SHIELD AROUND YOU AND WATCH YOU BE SMASHED!
Axel stops screaming and catches his beath.
_Oh, and by he way, the fires are technically a piece of myself, so you can't even touch them without me noticing, much less enter them to make a sneak attack... Go figure.
Axel likes to have fun with his battles. Nothing more to say.
The "the fires are a piece of me" come from his ending on the japanese version of KH2, where he made an kamikaze attack against the dusks, where he poured the fire out of itself (unlike the american version, in this one he actually got on fire, probably meaning the fire got actually from out of him), and said while dying that he was doing so (dying)because he put his whole beign on that attack. ...Of course, i's all expeculation until 358/2 gets out...) (WHOAH! Lot's of secret text! THIS IS HEAVY, DOC!).
And, if you didn't notice, the shrinking fire shield come from Bob and George, is the move Bob was using to "cheat" in the battle against Protoman, Nate and the Mikes until NA-Mynd attacked him. Sorry for the spoiler, but I couldn't not reference Bob.

Lashawna shakes herself off as she gets up. She sends a handful of ice quills his way. "fire isn't a weakness to me. try again"

Axel enters the flames again, and as the quills sizzled while crossing the fire walls Axel jumped at a high speed from the wall behind Lashawna, went past her, kicked backward (thus hitting her face in the front, if she didn't notice he was comming) and went back to the flames.
_Good for me they aren't my best point then, huh?
On a completelly side note, I'm sure I saw myself typing Axel's last sentence someday last month.

She stumbles back, almost falling to the ground, she quickly recovers. She slams her staff into the ground. Holds her hands together closing her eyes, she begins to softly chant.

"That can't be good... More than a simple cabalistic sentence is never good..."
Axel enters the space between the two larger circles of fire, thus not being visible anymore, and walks between them to the position on them farter from her. The farther he was, the easier it would be to avoid wahever it was.
"If it needs concentration, if I cut her out she won't be able to do it."
He then throws his chakrams to outside the rings, making them make a larger trail and entering the circle again from the top of Lashawna's sides, descending in anti-clockwise spirals at fast speed.

Axel watches as the lightinings hit the chakrans and they fall on the ground. Since the flames created an isolation barrier, any lightining that got to him was so small he didn't even notice.
"That can't be what she was planning... I was right. Let's see what she is gonna do now, and answer propperly."
Scientific fact: conductivity raises in cold materials, so in hot ones...

After casting lightning 2 it posed as a slight distraction. She begins to raise in energy. her eyes glow a dim blue.

"Oh, so now she'll just ignore me, uh? Well though luck, I'm not one to setle with "distracting" my opponents."
Axel moves his hand, and the chakrams on the ground burts into flames, that connect creating a wall. Then, they stand up, still with the wall between them, and start moving like weels, moving the wall of fire fast with the in Lashawna's direction.
Well, he doesn't uses his chakrams when doing this move on the gba... Rather than blaming the cards, I decided it would be better if they were actually used in the tech.

Lashawna slowly mutates. Her skin changing tones, more tough looking, it becomes a greenish-blue. Her fingers elongating to almost claws, fangs growing, ears getting longer. she is untouchable at this moment.
kinda like Terra in FF6 when she turned into the pink naked furry esper-thing.

Axel kept waching, hidden invisible among the flames. He didn't knew the rules of this world, but he knew transforming was a bad thing. And such a big change was bound to mean something really bad.
remember. That's where I stoped playing at the time because I had no idea what I was supposed to do and I was playing Chrono Trigger at the same time.
