Some advice when it comes to plucking eyebrows (or waxing, whichever)- before you pull, pull the skin around where you're plucking/waxing so it's tighter. It hurts a little less, and you can also get a a better grip on the little hairs. >_<
And when it comes to things like hairspray, this is a kinda duh thing that I learned the hard way- Make sure that you won't have a hairspray-induced asthma attack before you go out! If you get headaches & dizziness when you use your hairspray, switch to a different brand. ;D What good is looking fabulous if you're unconscious?

If you're seeing little rough bumps (that isn't acne) on your skin on your arms on on the front of your thighs (or on your face, etc. etc.), just put moisturizing lotion on it (that contains vitamins with Vitamin A, or those containing alpha hydroxy acids). Those bumps are more visible during the winter because the winters are dry. They're also called Keratosis pilaris and they disappear as you age. <: You could see a dermatologist and they'll give you some lotion for it if you're not sure what lotion to buy.
Mine have disappeared with age. :]

So I have an awesome recommendation for anyone planning to be spending some time out in the sun this summer. Or if you just have dry (crackly) skin like mine.
This stuff IS a amazing! I've been using it for about two weeks now (I'm out like 8 hours in the sun a day for work) I've yet to get burnt and my skins looks so good (hardly got to put on makeup). Not only that but most of my acne has cleared up to. whee whee whee It's awesome! It also comes in not so high spf stuff too, for those of you who live in a bat cave.

Whenever you're hungry, grab a piece of fruit instead of snacking on chips or something with high fat content. Eat lots of fruit to help keep your weight down and your skin clear. All those yummy vitamins. ;D
Also, drink lots and lots of water/tea. It helps to clear your skin and keep you more alert. (As a side note, adding mint to your water and eating cinnamon (gum, oatmeal, anything) will help to keep you alert and focused, as both mint and cinnamon stimulate your brain. Good to know for those late night paper writing fiascos.)

Yep, it's basically amazing. It definitely helps with the smooth skin, and my skin is also usually clearer and prettier now. I always have to have that SPF, too, since I'm out in the sun all the time.

Air-dry your hair as often as possible. If you must blow-dry, do it on a cool setting. It takes a bit longer but will dry out your hair a lot less.
Never straighten your hair when it's wet. Not even with those "wet to straight" straighteners.
Product placement: Neutrogena rapid clear gel for acne. It works amazingly, for me at least. You only need a tiny bit, the bottle is minuscule but for mild-to-moderate acne will probably last at least 3 months. Just apply directly the the pimple or zit (it doesn't work all that well for blackheads, I must admit), as soon as you see it coming in. The acne's appearance will reduce within an hour, and most of my acne will disappear completely in 2-3 days.
Also, ice helps reduce the redness of a pimple. So I've heard, I've honestly never tried it.

In response to the eyebrow tip in the Q&A: It doesn't hurt as bad when I have the hair in the tweezers, and I sort of scowl and then pull stright up. Really random, I don't know if I'm just weird or if this really works. whee

Rubbing ice over lipstick helps it stay on longer and not fade.
Side note::
Most of the stuff posted about zits and their cause are myths.

This is my new love. Garnier Fructis Leave-In Conditioning Cream Sleek&Shine I used it, and my hair is so shiny and smooth and soft and most of my flyaways are not as noticeable.
I also reccomend Sunsilk Anti-Poof for those who have hair that gets poofy as it dries. Or even those with dry hair that needs a bit of moisturization.

Weight tip that deals with the whole vegetarian diet:
If you actually decide to go vegetarian just for a diet, please keep in mind that you can actually gain more weight. Don't substitute meat for chips and cookies. A good burger substitute would be Boca Burgers, before I went vegetarian, I preferred that. Also another thing, if you're just going vegetarian to take off a few pounds, just cut the beef, eat fish for the protein. Also please note that things are derived from beef are not vegetarian-friendly, such as yogurt as well as some cheeses. Also be sure to just around and ask, there are a lot of things you can eat even at fast food places. Like Taco Bell is pretty vegetarian/vegan friendly, their cheese isn't derived from meat, but please note that their sour cream is.
Also some tips for skin:
-Make sure to change you pillow cases weekly. -Also, I'd recommend Neutrogena over Proactiv mainly because your skin can become very addictive to Proactiv because of mainly how strong it is, but I will admit, if you want to put it on for the rest of your life then stick with it, it does work I hear. -And of course the obvious, don't bust the pimples in such. The pus that comes out is very disgusting and helps spread more acne on your face, along with that, it leaves such an ugly mark on your pretty face. :]
