Zero was still very unaware of the snatched plush - fact which still amused Tori to no end, and made the little genie just a bid proud.
However, they where not with mama today, as she was to their new house preparing things for the actual moving.
The sight of the little group in the park probabely attracted some odd glances - whom Wren was used to allready, the fandangle just sitting in the shade of a tree and watching his two little charges of the day.
Shiku wasn't too far, also in the shade, because of the sun - he only left to do drip his tail in the fountain, for a reason the fandangle couldn't really explain. Maybe to cool himself down ?
Tori, however, was crawling around, but not too far. He seemed to be even be doing attempts to walk on his own, but they weren't too sucessful. However, he did not fuss and subbornly tried a few more times before giving up and going back to Wren and his brother for a nap.

Seeing that the 3 boys went ahead, Zero smilled a bit.
"Okay..." She made sure her hold on Tori was correct, Shiku floating around and peerking over her shoulder curiously. "We should start with the heavy stuff fir-"
But then, as luck would have it, what had to happen happened, and suddently rain started. Not just rain, but a complete DOWNPOUR, that took everyone by surprise.
Which made Zero mutter something in japanese that was better left untranslated, as she rushed in with the babies while Wren followed with as much crap as she could carry, soon backed by Zero.
However, the rain seemed to magically end when they where done, and Zero muttered...
"...I swear that kind of stupidity only happens to me..."
Shiku was a little sad that the rain had stopped, and Tori was currently giggeling at the funny face his mommy was making.

Quote: I think Tori is having problems adapting to his new room... Or maybe being alone ? A mix of both ? Anyway. He won't sleep if im not in the room with him... I brought him a nightlight, hopefully it might help... Poor little guy. I feel a little bad about all this... was there I way I could have avoided this ? But ultimately it was for the best, I know that... All the events happening lately, it's alot to take in.

Quote: Oh, man. Has it really been that long since I wrote anything in there ? So busy recently... Still need to finish things for the house, and my brother finally got his head out of his a** and came back... I was right, Tori only had problems adjusting with his new room, nothing else, thank god. He still have some issues about it, but he seems to be slowly getting used to it... I can actually leave after he falls asleep, now. And Tori also seems to ADORE my brother, Shirren. I figure it's good for him to have some kind of "father figure"... Even if it's his uncle... Did that make sence ? Oi. Too much things I have to do, too much things going on, im getting a bit dizzy...

Lorelei was reading. Despite her ditzy nature, she had already demonstrated that she had a large vocabulary, and was able to read quite well.
The book she was holding was a book on planting and harvesting green peppers, of all things. She was munching on one as she turned a page, which had a diagram of the root form.
Kaze was grateful that Lorelei liked peppers... the only peppers she could stand were the spicy ones.
The sound of quiet footsteps soon came into hearing, and a svelt form of blue and black slowly slid trough the door, holding the child with great care. It had been a long time since she had came here... and since she could take Tori somewhere on his own.
The quail boy seemed a bit sleepy, letting up a yawn, but suddently reconising Lore. The lady with the wierd feet ! He started giving off happy squeals, getting Zero's attention. "Lore !"
Blink. "Friend's of your, dearie ?" She blinked a bit, going to set the baby down next to the toddler, Tori quickly working free from his blanket and crawling the small distance. "Lore !"
"Tori!"
It was amazing how the nickname and the name of the quail almost rhymed. As Lorelei threw her book aside and started to run towards the teetering babe, the two of them almost replicated the classic 'two people running towards each other in a field of flowers' scene. However, Lorelei's clutsiness had to ruin it somehow, and it did... by making her fall flat on her face.
"Heeee..." she said as she sheepishly lifted her head, the imprint of the floor on her forehead.
...Which sent Zero into slight panic.
"Are you gonna be okay ?!?"
Tori couldn't help but laugh a bit. "Lore okay. Lore silly." He smilled. He liked the duck girl, even if she managed to confuse the hell out of him sometimes.
Lorelei let out another 'heeee' before managing to stand up. She adjusted the large farmer's hat on her head before pointing to herself, "I'm Lorelei! But everyone calls me Lore... Lor-ee. See, easy, huh?"
Oooh, there was a smudge in the wall.
Lorelei waddled over to the wall with the alleged smudge and practically pressed her nose to it in an intent stare.
"...That's not what I asked..." Zero blinked. This one was... uh... a bit special, it seemed.
Didn't seem to matter much to Tori, who was imediately crawling after Lorelei, which suddently reminded Zero she didn't have much time left before the little quail here would start walking and start getting into EVERYTHING.
Oh man.
He pulled lightly on Lore's skirt, trying to stand up but falling and landing on his behind, only to resort to giving tiny tugs on the fabric to catch the duck's attention, the black tuff swishing back and forth with his movement.
"Whaat, Lore ?"
With a coquettish, yet dazed, look on her face, Lorelei looked at the quail before slowly pointing to the spot on the wall.
"Elephant."
........ ................
"Elephant. ^______^"
Tori blinked a bit, trying to peer. How could there be an elephant on the wall ? Elephants where too big ! OH ! Drawn on the wall then ! ...But it had to be very small, he couldn't see from down here...
Thug, thug...
"Elephant ? Can't see."
Tori looked confused.
But surely that mysterious spot must be an elephant!
"Hmmm... maybe it's a llama then. Ducks and llamas go together very well, you know," Lorelei had a thoughtful look on her face, and could almost be mistaken for a very wise scholar, wise beyond her years.
But we all knew better, right?
Or could it be that she was really the smartest Sin'aeis ever and plotted to take over the world?
.... Nah...
... ninja
And the whole point seemed to confuse the quail even more. How could it have been an elephant one second ago and now an ilama ?
...And what's an ilama, anyway ?
"What ilama, Lore ?" He asked, not pulling on her dress this time and just sitting sightly behind her, squinting to get a good look at what was on the upper part of the wall, and awaiting the duck girl's answer.
Lorelei took a deep breath, and then recited with great importance:
"Have you ever seen a llama kiss a llama on the llama..."
She trailed off, unaware of the rest.
"...Llama llama duck. You see, Tori? That proves that that smudge is, in fact, a llama!" Lorelei narrowed her yellow-brown eyes at the smudge scrutinizingly before nodding curtly.
"Yep, this llama is definately stalking me." Lorelei bent down and, with some effort, was able to pull the quail a few inches off of the ground.
"See? LLAMA!"
"....Dun get it." The quail boy admitted, squinting to try to see. Lore wasn't really lifting him high...
"...Look like cat. Ilama look like cat ?"
Lorelei sat Tori down and tapped her finger on her chin in thought. She tilted her head to one side then the other before backing up epically.
"!!!!"
She couldn't believe it, she just couldn't...
"It's..."
This is one for the history books, folks.
"IT'S A CHINCHILLA! gonk "
Apparantly, Lorelei feared chinchillas greatly.
Blink...
Blink...
Big dramatic sillence...
"...What a chinchilla, Lore ?" Tori gave another blink, oozing of cute confusion and unaware of the duck girl's apparent fear of the animal.
((And this is where Kaze went to bed. TBC ?))

Ancelin sat in the living room on the edge of the couch, with her little feet kicking from side to side over the edge. Tenshi had dropped her off a little bit ago, and had gone to work on the school room in the other end of the mansion. But Ancelin wanted to wait in the play room where she was told she would get to see Tori agian. She remembered meeting him when she was younger and getting along with him really well, so she was mighty excited about seeing him agian.
She looked up at the clock in an impatient mannor, even though she couldn't read it. She wondered if Tori would still remember her? She had grown alot sense she last saw him last. Heck, she had grown alot sense she had seen any of the birds accept for Kilah. But she couldn't of changed that much, could she?
And the first thing one could see was that Tori was happy. Very happy in fact. Zero had told him he would see Anny again ! He had not seen her in a long time... Did she get bigger like Kilah did ?
However, one thing with huge mansions is that ones with a sucky sence of orientation got lost just a bit too easely in those place. Which was the case of a certain reploid...
"I could have sworn Tenshi told me it was somewhere around here..." The woman's voice preceded her, but went straight past the room.
However, her tiny boy did not miss it. Blue hairs... those wings... whose wings !!!
"ANNNYYYYY !!!!!"
"Not in my ear ! Tori ! NOT IN MY EAR !!!" Zero wailed, thanksfully bringing the quail to be quiet, and backtracking, finally spotting the girl. She seemed... bigger than when she had last seen her !
"Oops, sorry !" She gave a very embarassed face and stepped inside.
Ancelin's eyes grew wide as Tori called out to her, and she quickly jumped off the couch and ran up to greet him and Zero.. Or rather mostly him anyawys. Zero just happened to be the one holding him high up in the air.
"Tori! Tori! Hiiiii! " she called, up, tugging on Zero's pant leg anxously, wanting her to put him down. The girl now seemed to go up to Zero's leg, when before she would of only went up to her shin. But it was enough for Ancelin to get a good grip of cloath to tug on.
"Tori! Tori! Tori!" she cheered, bouncing up and down.
"Anny got bigger !" Was he the only small one left or something ? ...Oh well. He'll get bigger too, eventually ! Then he wouldn't need mama to carry him to places.
Zero smilled, seeming to get the message as she let the quail boy down, going to sit nearby, but far enough to give them playing space and some kind of intimity.
Anny squeeled happily and gave Tori a hug after Zero set him down and walked away, before she sat down in front of him to be eye level. "Tori! Anny haven't seen in long time! How you?" She asked, before clapping her hands together in glee, her wings twiching with the joy she had from getting to see an old friend agian.
Tenshi, having heard all the racket coming from the play room, walked out of the hall way and peered into the play room. She then smiled and walked over to Zero, before tucking her hands in her pockets. "Hey here Zero. Long time no see."
"Hey." Zero smilled, freeing some place beside her. "I've been... well... really busy, you could say that. How are you ?"
Tori gave Anny a cute little smile.
"M good ! How Anny ? Good too ? Hope so !"
Tenshi smiled as she sat down beside Zero, before letting out a chuckle. "I know how that can be, I've been really busy to. So has Anny, come to think of it. I don't think Tori's seen her sense she was kidnapped or lost in that vortex." She said with a laugh.. It was slightly amusing now that the terror was over with.
Ancelin smiled as she looked to Tori, before shaking her head. "Anny been fine! Grew bigger while back. While takin bath. And then I just went swoosh bigger like a spunge!" She giggled, before looking to Tori. "Anny did it whiel taking a bath. Does Tori bath lot? Bet he'd grow to if he took many baths!"
Blink.
"...Vortex ? Well, I don't think I have anything matching that." The reploid laughed.
Tori blinked, scuntching his nose cutely.
"Bath fun, but... Anny really think so ?" He kinda wanted to be bigger too... Being the smallest wasn't really fun.
Tenshi let out a laugh before she shrugged her shoulders, looking to Zero. "Trust me it wasn't fun at the time. I would of much rather continued on a boring hum drum day to day life. Instead of having my arch rival escape from hell, kidnap two of my children, rescue them, and then have her disapear in a vortex with my best friends child." She said with a smirk.
Ancelin smiled and nodded her head reasuringly, before clapping. "Yes yes! Anny sure! It work for Anny, and Jani to! Jani is person Anny knows, she grow after going sploring and washing off in bath Anny ran for her!" She said with a cheer, before nodding her head over and over.
"...Sounds like quite a ride." She nodded. "...I... well, moved, for one. Second, I found the dreams I had where liked to a boy that wasn't born at the time... and now that he is born, I am his guardian." She wasn't quite sure how to explain Sei to the other woman.
Tori just smilled again. "Okay, I try then ! Promise ! Then I get bigger, we play then !" Because he would have problems following her now if they tried to play anything, probabely.
Tenshi smirked and nodded her head as she looked to the woman, with her arms folded in her lap. "That sounds really interesting. So you kinda had a vision about him?" She grinned. "What's his name?" She asked, tilting her head in common curiosity.
Ancelin smiled and nodded her head, clapping her hands together as she did so. "Oh! Tori still have ball?" She asked, wondering if Tori still had the bouncy ball she gave him when they first met.
"Sei." She smilled. "He's... an adorable little guy, to be completely truthful. It just feels kinda wierd to me..."
"Ya !" Tori crawled off, removing the ball from the backpack Zero had left on the ground (it was kept extremely clean, oddly enough) and rolled it torward Anny with a gentle wack on it's side before starting to crawl back into position.
Tenshi giggled as she crossed her arms over her knees, before looking to Zero. "Well he sounds like a cutie. I got one on the way myself. Biologicly anyways." She said with a smirk. One would naturally asume she'd be the one pregnant.. But eh, that wasn't quite how it was.
Ancelin smiled gleefully and picked up the ball as it was rolled to her, before she sat down and looked at it. It had been a while sense she had seen her favorite ball. She then looked to Tori as he came back, before gently rolling it twards him. "Tori like it?"
And it was, of course, the track of mind Zero went into, raising an eyebrow idely. "You're pregnant ?"
The amount of people she knew that where or are pregnant was getting a bit scary. What was it with people and spawing all at the same time ? Uh...
"Yes !" Tori grinned ear to ear, grapping the ball and shining it a bit with the shirt he was wearing, making it even shinier for Ancelin (and knowing she disliked dust and other things) before gentely rolling it back. "I try to find gift, but not found thing Anny like yet."
Tenshi laughed and shook her head, before she rested a hand on her gut. "No, I don't believe I'll be squeezing any pups out soon.." she said with a smirk, looking to Zero. "I accidentally turned myself into a man a while back and got one of my friends pregnant.. You might know her. She looks after a Sin child named Sjajan." She said, looking to Zero. "It was kinda a one night thing I think.. We where drunk." She said, before letting out a sigh, at least that's how she thought Indu felt about the sitation. She didn't know how she felt herself.
Ancelin blinked for a moment, then let out a big smile as she cought the ball. "Tori doesn't have to get me gift! But if he does Anny will like anything he pick out! So long as not mud pie." She said with a giggle, before playfully sticking her tounge out. She then rolled the ball back to Tori, resting her hands between her legs. "Tori no have to feel pressure to get gift! Really!"
"Whoa." She listened to the whole. "...Well, I know how the whole "turning into a man" thing feels like... At least. It happened to me too some time ago. Botched up spell. Im not... really... willing to repeat the experience."
She had been too much of a damn prettyboy, that had been too scary.
"I want to." He protested a bit, smilling, laying on his chest and letting the ball roll through the curve of his arms and back to Ancelin with a giggle. "Just gotta find thing pretty." Nodnod.

Tori got to see two of his friends again, Lorelei and Ancelin, not too long ago. I've rarely seen that little guy this hyper ! He was really happy, no doubt about that one.
He also seems to be looking for gifts for them... keep insisting to go out with me when I go shop... It's pretty cute.
He seems obcessed with taking baths lately for some reason, tho. He insists on taking one everyday, sometimes even more often. o_O I have no idea why... How wierd.
But then I've seen wierder and am getting used to so much wierder... Maybe he justs want to be superclean for Anny ? Uh.
...I dunno, really. But Tori probabely has his reasons.

There was a thing called boredom.
Shiku and Tori where currently experiencing it. Well, the genie more than the quail boy. Tori seemed pretty happy with simpely "reading" the children books Zero had gotten for them both, looking at the pretty, colorful images.
Shiku, however, had found quick disinterest over them, and simpely floated idely, as his number one playmate was too captivated in his book to notice he was even existing at the moment. Sei wasn't one for playing, so that kept him stuck.
The genie frowned a bit, fluttering around the quail and poking him sightly. "Play."
"No." Was the answer. "After book."
Blah.

With halloween coming in real fast and the mention of a party, Zero was stuck with a slight problem.
What to dress Tori in ?
The idea of a yukata was tempting, but the only who she had found with the right size costed a fortune. She wasn't *that* bad at sewing, but not good enough to make a full-blown yukata in under a month. So that was pretty much out.
Tori couldn't help but wonder what mommy was thinking about... and why she kept sending glances at him. He perked up from his sheet of paper, blinking his pretty blue eyes.
...Hm.
...Wait, blues eyes... ?
Zero seemed to think of something then, turning to her laptop, and one could have sworn Tori gave out a sweatdrop.

Alot of sewing accidents later, Tori had his costume ready.
Cutest little Cloud ever !
Tori just blinked a bit as Zero was trying to place the shoulderpad straight, visibely not understanding why he was in this strange costume, but not seeming to mind it too much.
"Aww." Zero grinned a bit. "You're going to be the cutest little trick or treat-er. Tori."
"Weu ?"
Zero wsn't seemed to catch on the slight confusion of her son. "I hear there's a party being planned... Now that's perfect, you'll get to see your friends."
"Anny ?"
"Of course, im sure Anny will be there. And alot of new friend too !"
Well, now this costume was worth it.

Halloween was nice for Tori... at least that's what Zero said.
Hey, im Shirren. My sister decided to go on some kind of vacation. She sure as hell deserved it...
...But I should have seen it coming that ill be babysitter in the meanwhile. >_<
So, yeah. Tori got lots of candy, but he oddly doesn't seem to like it too much. I mean, most kids would have driven right in and managed to drive me nuts from the sugar high by then, not him.
At least im with the two calmer ones... I feel very, VERY sorry for Adrian right now. >_>

Visibely, someone was glad she was back, as Zero experienced by having Tori glued to her like one of those facehuggers in alien movies...
Which made trying to write a bit... hard. She could not bare to put him aside, however... so she managed.
The baby yawned, snuggeling against the reploid's knees. "Mama ?"
How long at it been ? Almost a year now, since she started taking in those who needed her. Yet each time someone called her mother, she couldn't help but feel surprised... she wondered, idely, if she would ever get used to it.
"What, cutie ?" She smilled, looking down at the cute little face, those cute little eyes that had her drawn ever since she had first seen the little boy. It seemed like so long ago...
Tori smilled back. "Nothin." He yawned. "Missed you... Love you."
He was promptly asleep... and it was doubtful that the young woman would ever forget this moment.

"...The rabbit-hole went straight on like a tunnel for some way, and then dipped suddenly down, so suddenly that Alice had not a moment to think about stopping herself before she found herself falling down a very deep well."
While it was not the exact words, she had been quite caught off-guard when Tori and Shiku had both wanted a bedtime story, which the only thing close enough to it she knew was, well... Alice in Wonderland.
"Either the well was very deep, or she fell very slowly, for she had plenty of time as she went down to look about her and to wonder what was going to happen next."
This story was... a bit wierd, Tori thought. Rabbits didn't have pocketwatches, didn't they ? Or maybe they did. He would make sure to check extra-hard next time he saw a white rabbit... To the genie, however, none of this seemed odd, but the usually hyperactive toddler seemed to be calmed down for a moment, curious about the story.
"First, she tried to look down and make out what she was coming to, but it was too dark to see anything; then she looked at the sides of the well, and noticed that they were filled with cupboards and book-shelves; here and there she saw maps and pictures hung upon pegs."
...Why didn't she just zoom down ? Oh, right, Shiku reminded himself, she was probabely like Tori. Not like mama, because mama could fly. But Tori couldn't. Right ? Hm.
The brown haired boy simpely yawned, wanting to hold on to know the story, but slowly slipping into sleep allready...
"She took down a jar from one of the shelves as she passed; it was labelled Orange Marmelade, but to her great disappointment it was empty. She did not like to drop the jar for fear of hurting somebody, so managed to put it into one of the cupboards as she fell past it."
How could someone hurt someone else with a jar ? Uh. The law of gravity was totally lost on both boys, and Shiku tried to hide a yawn.
"Well!, thought Alice to herself, after such a fall as this, I shall think nothing of tumbling down stairs! How brave they'll all think me at home! Why, I wouldn't say anything about it, even if I fell off the top of the house!' (Which was very likely true.)"
She looked up, and both boys where asleep. Smiling a bit to herself, she carried them both to their respective rooms, and left a kiss on their foreheads before leaving.

Man, I can't believe I havn't written at all. So many things happened... And christmas didn't help. AT ALL. Im still very bleh...
Tori, I discovered, really loves being read to, more than I thought he actually did. His favorite story, by far, is Alice in Wonderland. He looooooves Alice in Wonderland. Not that I can blame him, I really like that story too. I just hope he won't grow up to explore rabbit holes hoping they lead to Wonderland...
He likes the Little Red Riding Hood, too. When I think about it, I don't think there's a story I told him that he didn't like. But then Tori has that little habit of tolerating alot of things... Expecially people, but a bit with other things too.
Asside coconut juice... which is an incient im trying to erase from my memory.

"Shi-ku !!!"
Uh oh.
Spotted in deed, the little genie darted off his pierch into the cupboard right before Zero could catch him, giggeling. The reploid seemed a bit tired, doing her best to keep holding Tori, who looked mighty confused about all this to begin with.
"God, stop that, you'll hurt yourself, or break something !!!!" Zero was visibely at her wit's end as far at trying to make him stand STILL was concerned.
And of course, what had to happen happened, the genie having adopted a too quick flight cruise and smacking head first on the wall, and falling on the ground, the surge of pain sending him into wails.
And, at seeing her brother hurt, Tori started to cry as well, upset by all of this.
"Oh god, Shi..." She ducked, scooping up the toddler. It didn't look like he had hit himself too hard, thank godness. That didn't stop both boys from crying, however, and Tori was clinging to Shiku like if their lives depended on it.
"Shhhh, dear... Are you okay ?"
"H-Hu..." The genie replied in between sobs.
"There, there..." She gave a small kiss on his forehead, and rubbed it a little. "All better ?"
"A- A bit..."
"Shiku better !" Tori chipped, immediatly stopping his crying. How... odd. But those two always seemed to be closer to each other than from the rest of the family.
"And this is why you don't fly around that fast." Zero announced a bit sternly, poking the toddler's nose, sending the quail boy in a fit of giggles at the reaction of the changeling. "Allright ?"
"...'right..." He answered, a bet reductanly.
