I saw in a magazine a few months ago an article that was saying who had the best body and such (best boobs, worst boobs, etc.), and Queen Latifah was given Best Plus-Sized Body.
I was so very happy.
And it was like, a tabloid magazine too.
That, I think, is a good sign.

Hear C r i p t i k a Hear By "chubby", I thought we were supposed to post girls who were only slightly fat, and I mean that in the least offensive way. People define the word chubby in many differant ways. When most people say "She's a little chubby" or "She's chubby" they don't mean girls as big as the ones Fuzzy was posting. Eh. I still think it's a matter of opinion, however, I agree with you. Wait. How does that work? Oh, I contradict myself too much. v-v

However, I figured the term chubby was used to get as many photos as possible of larger girls, the bigger and the smaller ones. I didn't think it meant you couldn't post a size 28 if you wanted.

I thought that by "chubby", the poster just meant "fat".
There are many interpretations of the word "chubby", but I think it is largely used as a fat euphamism, just like if you said "post pics of beautiful big-boned women", most people would not post pictures of women with unusually large skeletal structures.

See, when I think of chubby I think of girls smaller than myself, because when people try to tell me I'm chubby not fat they make it clear they consider it different.
If the topic was to post big boned women, though, I'd totally post photos of myself >>; My bones are huuuuuuge, and then I'm fat :/

I haven't posted photos of myself 'cause nobody has mentioned me and if I'm going to camwhore I have the other thread to post in 3nodding I also am pretty sure everyone here has already seen photos of me, so I don't really need to post more.

And I'm sorry, but you hit a MAJOR pet peeve of mine. First off, the thread says to post sexy chubby girls, not "Post only women over a size 20".
The average american woman is a size 12, that is PLUS SIZED. It disgusts me when people act like a woman is too small to be plus-sized just because she has curves in all the right places and it looks GOOD on her. You can even tell she has a chubby stomach. After years of being told I was too fat, and picked on for my weight, I met people in the fat community who actually told me I wasn't fat enough, or that they wouldn't consider me plus sized... too bad I was a size 18. It actually crushed what little self-esteem I had. I wasn't good enough for the skinny people or for the fat people, I wasn't good enough for anybody. You don't really count until you're covered in rolls. These women will have still gotten picked on for their weight, but it doesn't count to you just because they aren't big enough to make you happy.

And when I meant opposite sides of the spectrum, I meant on the plus-size range. I was only seeing lower-end of plus size(like you said, between size 12 and 16 ish....and very large sizes.) I'm WELL aware that Fuzzy is an FA, and I have no problem with him posting those pictures, because those women are lovely. I think the only girl I saw that I personally thought was representing the middle was the actress from Hairspray. All I'm saying is I was only seeing one side or the other, and not the middle, which I think a lot of chubby girls tend to fall into. I'm sorry if it hit a personal nerve, but I really didn't phrase it in the way you took it as. I'm actually a bit confused as to why it did. I understand in the modeling world a little(and I mean, a little) bit of extra curves are generally the only acceptable shape with plus-sized models, and yes, I agree, they have to usually be on the smaller size. It's just the way fashion is I guess. I don't like it, but I can't realy do anything about it. And I would NEVER oust a particular person(or people)and say that they are not acceptable to me. I'm very sorry if that happened to you, I know how it feels to be in that position. I'm just saying that it's sad that the fashion industry considers Tocarra Jones plus-size, when to me she just looks like a beatifully healthy woman. It could just be the angle, or maybe because she's possibly air-brushed in the picture, but it just doesn't look like she's fat, y'know? It is sad that somebody Tocara's size would be considered plus-sized when she's healthy and sexy, as opposed to the size 0 girls you see parading up and down the runways.
And yeah, Nikki Blonsky is really the only one in the middle, I agree... most average plus-sized girls I guess don't get included. You know, the Super sized ones get posted 'cause they're usually easy to find online, and the smaller ones get posted 'cause they're closer to mainstream, but big girls in the middle range get left out :/
