Overall, I think there are a lot of forgotten games on portable consoles. Castlevania Dawn of Sorrow was a great game, but I have a feeling that a lot of Castlevania fans will never play it because it is on a portable system. Just my thoughts, but there are a lot of handheld masterpieces outside of Pokemon.

That aside, Super Mario Strikers. That game got a lot of negative light because it had no mini games like Mario Tennis or whatever, but the gameplay was so perfect that it made of for everything it was missing -- in my opinion.

I played the original in WalMart once and the gameplay was pitch-perfect. However, from what I understand, it lacked key features in team customization and single player options that have been resolved in the sequel (which I'll be picking up tomorrow!)
Don't be jealous, but I have a friend who got it last week for free...

You're friend must live in Europe or have a European Wii, unless of course your friend knows someone in the media that didn't want their review software anymore...

Believe it or not, the Wii.

I constantly hear people going on about how it has no good games out now, yet I can name so many (because I have them all)

Excite Truck - 75%
Warioware - 81.7%
Red Steel - 64.9%
Call of Duty - 69.2% (other versions all got over 80%, even PS2)
Need for speed (meh) - 65.4%
Dragonball Z - 72.4%
Legend of Zelda - 94.4% (but is not a Wii exclusive)
Transformers - 57.8%
SSX Blur - 74%
Heatseeker - 63%
Wii Sports - 76.6%
Marvel: Ultimate Alliance - 74.8%
Rampage: Ultimate Destruction - 49.2%

I love these games (except for Carbon)

The above percentages are taken from www.gamerankings.com, a site that compiles all reviews of a game from reputable sources and averages them into one percentage score.
...
So I can only assume you were joking when you said these were all "good games." Perhaps "mediocre" is what you meant to say. Only two games on that list scored over 80%, and only one of them is a Wii exclusive.

Incidentally, Trauma Center got an 80.1%, so it's an exclusive that just barely squeaked in, although you could argue that it is better than Warioware at least. It just doesn't have any multiplayer, which is a big weakness since the Wii is basically a "multiplayer-only" console.

3nodding Yep, the Gamecube's swan song. Exactly the same as the Wii version except no fishing, it was reversed, and, obviously, no Wii controls.

It has fishing, my friend. But seriously, Boktai Series. They were made by Kojima just like MGS, and they both involve a lot of stealth action. The diffrence, Boktai is more Fantasy based and more game time then cinemas. I love those games.

I thought the fishing area was exclusive to the Wii version because of the motion controls... Oh well, then, the third difference then is that the Wii version supports 480p and widescreen modes.
