No More Heros. I want that game I want that game I want that game.

Did you play Killer 7? Made by the same guy, blew my mind away. This one doesn't appear to have such a complex story, but the action looks to be far more endearing this time around. I think I'm going to get it for my brother for Christmas along with MySims or Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles (or both if someone in my family decides to get him No More Heroes).

@Arvis: Where's Wii Fit in the poll?

Oooh, sting.

However, in the end, whether some consider it a game or not, it'll probably push another 10 million Wiis...

Sadly, you're probably right... sweatdrop
I'll still be pissed if it's more successful than the EyeToy. They're both equal parts interesting and pointless.

EDIT: Thanks for spelling my name right, btw.

I know my house will be getting a copy (I showed my Mom the video and she freaked over the game.) I never played EyeToy, but what really matters is how developers support the peripheral. The most interesting thing I heard was done with the EyeToy was the face mapping feature in the Tony Hawk games. If a lot of developers can put the Wii Balance board to good use, I think it'll be worth however much they're going to charge for it...

EDIT: No problem. 3nodding

I think the EyeToy was vastly underrated and underappreciated for what it was. It had the same gameplay elements as many Wii games, but nobody seemed to care. And of course, when I say it was "underrated and underappreciated" I mean that Sony also felt that way about it. It definitely could have used more support BEFORE release. As it was, they just stuck it out there and then were like "Eh, not too many people are buying it. Screw it then."
I doubt the same thing will happen with the Stup- er I mean Balance Board, considering half of all Wii owners don't even play video games, they just like the peripherals.

I think they're making an EyeToy for the PS3, so maybe they'll put some more support behind it this time... Aren't they making some sort of card game that supports it? That seems kind of weak, I'd think they'd have something else for it too... Like Eyedentify!

I remember my mom being so surprised by the Balance Board. I called her up at work when the Nintendo Conference ended, but I couldn't quite explain it right, so I told her I'd show her the video when we came home. She was thoroughly surprised by the device when I showed her the video of the conference.

You see, a couple of months ago, SSX Blur came out for the Wii, and I was telling my Mom how it controlled. She told me she was not impressed and that she would be if they came out with a device that could act as the board and read how you shift your weight and use it for a snowboarding game. I told her they probably wouldn't do it, though they do have boards like that in arcades, it would be too expensive to make a home peripheral that does the same thing.

And, as well all know, here's the Wii Balance Board. My mom was yelling that Miyamoto-san had stolen her idea... I thought it was a good idea, but one that would be too expensive. But, here we are, where Wii Fit is set to come with a Balance Board and not cost more than $80...

If they can make that concept work, really work, I'll go back to being Nintendo fanboy (gave up on them after the N64).

I mean it. xd

I used to be madly loyal to the Big N until I slowly realized that ALL of my favorite video games of all time were on the Playstation and I still was only playing GoldenEye on my N64. The GameCube, obviously, did nothing to change this viewpoint, and now I have a Wii and, for the time being, it bites a**, majorly. And I, unlike some Wii fans, actually DO have a Wii.

Indeed, there is a shortage of great Wii games that aren't ports or something like that. Darn the Summer drought. That will change drastically soon though. I'm really waiting for a sequel to Sonic riders. If there's one game that can make GOOD use of the balance board, it's Sonic Riders.

Well, it's almost over... I know the Wii's getting an early savior from the drought with Mario Strikers: Charged (just two more days! whee ) and it's getting quite a few games in August, including Space Station Tycoon, Madden NFL 08, Mercury Meltdown Revolution, and Boogie... oh, and some game called Metroid Prime 3: Corruption.
