More proof that percussionists talk quite a bit in my band: we were practicing marching band music without the marching one day and this one part where there was no one playing, there were several percussionists talking during the rests and it was all quite noticeable since there was nothing to cover it up. Ho ho ho...

TROMBONES! (I hate them so much... not people who play the trombone, but the people in MY band who do. Sorry, but when your drill instructor and band director say shut up, you don't say F*** you at them just quiet enough so they can't hear you.)
I like my little "YOU TALK! I KEEEEEEL YOU!" methods. I hate being in guard because the band doens't respect you. But I'm the only guard memeber who spent two years marching in band... so I actually know how to march! *gasp* Sorry, but if I were still a flute, I'd hate the guard so much.
The section that talks the least is Flutes. And that's because I love them... No, flutes are always just the most disciplined in my band. Too bad I am in guard now though *Cries*

It depends on if you mean who really talks the most, or who gets caught the most.
The saxophones get caught talking a lot, but they're pretty bad at playing in my school...hm, wonder why?
However, I talk a lot while I'm not playing, and I never get caught...

During marching band season the Drumline gets yelled at the most. In symphonic band, well...its the drummers. biggrin Vegyangel TROMBONES! He was promptly yelled at from the band directors while our entire marching band stood at attention. He then quit. No on really liked him the first place thou..stupid freshman...

Pagentry talks like crazy when we aren't practicing
however
two kids in the trumpet section talk so much during practice it makes them look like they are shy

We are always getting yelled at for talking.... I'm suprised I still have all my participation points.

Hmm... well, the tromebones get yelled at the most, I would say, but they are almost all freshmen. However, the flutes are all preppy asian girls that arent very quiet either. sweatdrop

Low brass talks the most in my band as a section but thats because we're all back there waiting for the millions of flute to tune and get they're parts. Its always a party in the back in my band. xd
