Yes a mule would be a good idea to raise funds for events. Sounds like a good plan to me.
Oh yea, the visiting to our brother and sisters homes is a good idea. That way we will not have a lot of non members spying us.

I see a theme in guilds with the mule that is shared amongst crew members. It really makes sense, though.
