Well, lucius might be a bad example for this, along with Echidna, but you can almost always tell the gender by looking at them.  I don't think that looks like a girl... D:

The key here is the chest. 80% of females over the age of 13 in anime, anime-based games, or games made in Japan have boobs. Shinon has a flat chest. Therefore, he is male. =D
And his face is too manly for a girl, too.

Danni-chan ShoujoHime Recamen @Neimi: Ah, Neimi wasn't so bad... she wasn't the best of the lot, but at least she's worth using in the last chapters as a Sniper (I hated her as a Ranger--no Strength at all), and her character concept's better than a lot of the "Oh look at me, I'm some boring soldier from so-and-so ho hum" people in there (*cough* KyleandSyrene *cough*). I think I'm starting to hate Ilyana, though. Now that I've switched her out for Kieran, it's like... she's not really that good a mage, and on top of that, I just don't like her character much. It just seems odd to me that she can chow down for five people and still retain her body weight, not to mention stay hungry... who was her father, a Snorlax? (Actually, I would laugh so much if that were true. XD) ' Since I've never played the game, I can't say for cerain about stats or anything. I only know that I find her conversations amusing. Maybe....or maybe Ilyana's a half or mabye even a quarter laguz and nobody knows about it? I've got it! There is a secret clan of Pokemon laguz. Ilyana is part Snorlax laguz. XD At least when she's in her Snorlax form she can flatten people by rolling over on them? *knows absolutely nothing about PoR* How dare you besmirch the awesomeness of PoR by not knowing anything about it! scream Kidding. ...XDD The Pokemon laguz clan idea makes sense. Too bad Ilyana can't transform in the game, and I don't think she uses laguz stones... maybe Tellius has to wait until Pokeballs become available? And speaking of PoR confusions, I thought Sanaki was like, early 20's when I saw online pics (they didn't show the whole body). ...And I too wasn't sure on Shinon for a little while, at least 'til Shades of Evil (Ch. 7, for you infidels out there).

But I remember while looking through the official art thumb-nails, I thought Shinon was a girl at first glance. X= I blame the long hair.

With legs like that? He'd be the ugliest girl ever!!! gonk Least I knew from first glance.... but then again with the amount of Shounen-ai and yaoi I consume on a nearly daily basis.... it's no wonder I can figure out the difference between girls and feminine or slightly feminine looking guys. XP

I always knew he was a dude. Too arrogant and rude to be a girl. And his face was definitly too manly for a chick, same with the body shape. If its flat, best guess is its a guy. Lol.
Buuttt... Ive always been able to know if someones male or female from a glance. A talent of mine? Ive always had... Sharp vision?

Edit: I changed it, because it was bugging me... << Oooh. That's a hard question. FE6: Sue, Fir, Oujay, Hugh, Lugh, Ray, and Klein. FE7: Nils, Wil, Heath, Legault, Matthew, Guy, Rath, Lucius, Raven, and Sain. FE8: Uh... I can only say Ewan. FE9: I haven't played enough of it. However, currently I like no one in particular. FE10: ... I haven't played very far. I like Edward and Leonardo so far.

Sometimes I get angry at the little kids around my area, but I ALWAYS refrain myself from hurting them. Because then later on they come back and talk to me and they're so cuttteee. <3 xDDD
~ And sometimes They don't know if something will insult someone. They're just young and naive. Lol.
