Out of irritation, Domnus grabbed hold of the grappling hook rope and tested it.
"I'm lighter, so I'll have less of a chance of causing it to fall if it is unstable. Once I'm up I'll be able to adjust it to a solid grip point."
He looked around at the others to see what they thought of this idea.

Yet he said this slowly as if to make sure they caught every word. Then, without waiting for another irritating reply, he sprang lightly up the rope. He reflect that although every single one of them were probably stronger and faster than him he could probably do something - probably have done somethings - that they could never do.

Chris stood there listening to the others argue when a monster jumped out from the lava, The monsters body was turned inside out and had veins popping everywhere and the heart was as black as a beetle. It suddenly grabbed the grapples string and broke it. Chris stood up and said, "WHAT ARE YOU DOING? WHO THE HELL ARE YOU?" The hideoius monster looked at Chris and said, "My name is Meat. I cannot allow you to escape." Johnny and Liu Kang suddenly shot glances at each other and Johnny said, " YOUR THE MONSTER THAT SCORPION TALKED ABOUT!"

"Uh, we wasn't escaping. We was simply.....................making our way through this place in order to get some else is all. What gave you that idea?" Not even I would buy that.
