Kay took the souls' hands in her own. "Thank you, Emmett." She looked at the ground in front of her, wondering if heaven really did have a handle on the current situation. "I...I'm sure the other angesl know about everything that has been going on. I must have just missed the memo." She laughed nervously, but stopped when she noticed that no one else was laughing with her. "Anyway, I better get these poor souls to heaven. They've been through a lot today." She flapped her wings, and rose into the air with the two souls. "Goodbye, Emmett. I hope I'll see you again." Before more could be said, Kay flew off into the clouds.

Shina had made her way to her mother and father's house, she spent alot of time there woundering how she could soothe her parents, watching them cry their eyes out and feeling so helpless that she can't do anything. "This is hopless!" She yelled. Walking straight through her brother and sister-in-laws' car. Wait. Her brother and sister-in-law were here? After her nephew has been suffering for so long without an explination? Confused and bewildered, she entered her former home, walking in one her everyone, including her nephew.
"That's so terrible!" He mother said as she whipped away a river of tears, her father trying to confort her the best he could.
"How can we afford two funerals? Lord knows Shina's is going to be expensive, but a decent one for Shawn too?" Her father said. Shawn was the name of her nephew.
Shawn, was going to die, too? Shina couldn't beileve it. She approached her nephew who was sitting under a window. He looked as if he had been crying. "There's nothing I can do either," she whispered.

Black auras galor beyond the pearly gates.
"Well, isn't this going to be fun?" Luke breathed sarcastically. There were far too many evil souls here for one person to take care of. Where were all the other reapers?
"A little help here!" Luke called to the atmosphere.

Emmett shrugged as the angel flew off with the two souls in tow. "This is turning out to be one heck of a morning." he sighed and headed back out the doors and back into the seat of the car, he sat there for a moment tapping his fingers on the steering wheel. 'Surely they would have noticed by now. But then again it's not like ignorance is new to anyone.' he thought to himself. 'Still it's probably better that the demon didn't know that I'm only a scout. But I still didn't find any open rifts there.' he continued to talk to himself as he drove through a quiet neighborhood as he head back to the city. 'I'm against asking for help. but if these rifts keep opening more and more it's just going to get worse.' pausing for a moment he shook his head trying to empty it of his thoughts, "I'll think about it later." he groaned.

Tai, who had been hiding out in a local hostpital, still shivered from what he saw. He quickly went to terrorizing people to get his mind off of it. A christian priest happened to actually see him though, in the refelction of a hospitalized friend's television. He saw a samurai, clad in red, black and gray armor, with a polished iron mask hiding his face. Then Tai faded from sight.

Shawn had sat quietly away from his parents and grand-parents, trying hard not to cry. It was hard enough to lose the one person who has been there for him through thick and then, now he, too, was going to join her in the afterlife. It wasn't neccissarily the fear of death that he was so worried about, but the fear of him being thrown in hell while Shina was watching him in heaven, he hadn't had the best behavior lately.

Kay flew very slowly for the old souls, and after some time they finally arrived at heaven's gates. She landed softly outside the gates, and waved goodbye to the elderly souls. "You will now rest forever in the kingdom of Heaven. Farewell." The two elders smiled and thanked her, and walked off to enter Heaven. When they were a good distance away, Kay sighed deeply and walked to the edge of the cloud. She sat down and let her legs hand off the edge. She stared at the world below in a daze, and thought about everything that just happened in her busy day.

Emmett drove back to the school where his day had originally started, and sat back on a bench in the courtyard, It was less than 15 minutes to go before the bell rang and still hadn't seen any sign of the new reapers, and wondered if they decided to stay home or something. From following him, he could tell they were prone to stupidity, so there was no telling what might have happened.
