I was hoping it was a joke of some sort...

OK! just so people know... I HAVE ZERO TOLERANCE FOR SEXIST PEOPLE! Even if its a joke.

As Von and Emerald yet again discussed what they had done with their lives it came to Von's attention that Shepuma bet a dwarf, who is known for their greatest consumption of liquor, that he could out drink him. Onel can imagine Von's distaste for liquor for some odd reason. He never had the knack to drink, but if Donna got him into it then there had to be a hefty sum. As Von listened intently to Donna telling him what she bet with, first was the castle, then it was her servitude, along with his weapons, then his favorite thing his fine hedge garden maze! He could have fainted right on the spot, at the thought of this bet.

As he came to the realization of his untimely and utterly uncomfortable situation, he formed a plan... He would some how refuse the urge to vomit. Emerald,however, formed a strategy, she suggested, 'Brother, why not practice for the night? It would not hurt you if you practiced drinking once in your life. Why deny your body with something it has never felt?' 'Good point Emerald" Von stated sarcastically. "I am not fond of drinking, but with so much at stake l I guess I have no choice", as he finished what he had said, he hung his head low, as if in shame! "I am going to hate myself in the morning. I wish Chainey was here to help me overcome this!' However, Chainsaw was still trying to figure out how to get Bill to come with him to Midgar away from Ciara. I will not go into detail what goes on, but I know Von would not want them to come, if it risked their manhood! The scene fades...

As Von prepared for day of drinking and merry making, the dwarf had just arrived at the Inn of Black Diamonds. The dwarf was frustrated at how late his competitor was. The dwarf, however, forced himself to be patient. He was, however, Bullwyf IronAxe! Bullwyf had been boasting, "The great thane the woman was boasting about is not here! May I get his....." Before he could say anything, Von appeared in his total majesty, along with Emerald and Donna, whom never seemed too far behind... In the streets of Jordheim Von announced angrily, "Who dares say they can out drink me!? I will mount their head and tongue on my wall!" Everyone pointed toward poor Bullwyf, who was now frightened by what he had thought to be a puny man, but he saw Thor for some reason (might have been already drunk, dwarves have a good way of hiding drunkeness at times). Von for some reason to him had the same features of a god.Von and Bullwyf strode with pride to the nearest empty table and Von sat adjacent to Bullwyf and both men were handed 10 mugs of the hardest ale apiece. The Inn of Black Diamonds was well known also for information gathering, bounty hunting as Von had done in the past.

As Bullwyf started off, he took in both hands 1 mugs apiece and swigged them down, and Von did the same. For hours and hours it seemed these two almost evenly matched titans of liquor consumption seemed to be unmatched, but Bullwyf did not reckon Von's stomach was that of Fire and that it did not feel full effects of brandy and ale because it was all burned up. All Von had was burping and heartburn it seemed, while Bullwyf at last could not drink another drop. Bullwyf fainted near dead on the table. Von seemed to have won, but Von stated to the dwarf when Bullwyf had somewhat regained consciousness, "Bullwyf, it was fun drinking with you, and let's do it some other time shall we? And you know what? I will pay for it all!" Von threw the barmaid two coins of mithril for the damage and the liquor. Emerald, Von and Donna walked slowly off to their castle As the party was walkinbg back, Von had to run to the side of the road. It seems half demons do need to vomit when they get drunk, and when their innards are like fire!! The scene fades!



there are lots of good qoutes in there, and meanings. but the moral of the story, "Don't try to outdrink a dwarf! - They don't vomit!"
