Sailor Gundam 06 The whole namesake thing was a bit lame... yet, at the same time, they made sense. My mom thought it was cute. I was wondering where the child named Fred was, but in a Live Chat JK did on Bloomsbury's website on Monday she said George's first child and son was named Fred.
...I personally think it would be weird having a kid named after your dead parent (even if you don't remember said parent) or after your dead twin. *shudders* Giving your kids middle names of dead loved ones is fine, but first names is a little too weird for me.
I bet you all anything James' middle name is Sirius.

Can you imagine the confusion that must have come from the name "Albus"? I mean, really...
"Albus, no! Don't draw on the walls!" "James, stop picking on Albus." "Albus, go to bed."
Just think of that! Having to tell off your child using your grandfatherly-type mentor's name would be just plain weird. Look! A blibbering humdinger.

Oi. I wish people would stop asking why so and so had to die. Nobody HAD to die. It was a freaking war, if I drop dead tomorrow no one's going to try and devulge logic for why I HAD to die. "It should have been Percy, not Fred." I disagree. If you guys are looking for perfect little fairy tails where all the character's futures are perfetly explained, go read childrens books, but even "and they lived happily ever after" endings are fairly dodgy. And honestly, if JK spent time to explain what happened to the characters, there would have been an extra wasted chapter and you would be complaining about leaving nothing to the imagination. Harry married Ginny and had 3 kids, Ron and Hermione had kids, Malfoy had kids...meaning he didnt go to Azkaban...Fleur and Bill presumably named one of their children after Viktor (Victoire). Fred obviously didn't go insane or it would have been mentioned. I think you can all use your imaginations and realize that George would have been devasted, but still carried on strongly, it's in his character. I suspected for a long time that Harry was the seventh Horcrux and the Hollows not only provided more interest and depth to the story, but provided a way to aid harrys survival...it doesnt need to be mentioned in the other books because, after all, what would the point of Hermione deciphering it for half the book. The suspense woul have been cliced in half if the reader had prior knowledge of the hollows...the cloak and the ring would have long since been discovered and torn apart in online forums and then harry would have been viewed as stupid to anyone who already knew. Besides, it came as a shock to harry...and everything about the hollows had been previously forshadowed anyhow. Last time I checked no really good books had perfectly tidy, satisfactory endings. I liked this book because it was real, no fair or predictable. I think, based on the plot of the other books that JK likes for her reader not to know everything. So before you all complain about the story anymore I want you to remember why you all went without sleep to finish it. I hope it's because you were captivated by the story, if you were reading constantly just to finish the book, then I suggest you all read it again.

I thought it was brilliant! I especially enjoyed all of the memories Severus left for Harry. I would have liked to seen more, but there was more story to tell. It was several days reflecting on the book before I realized why Snape grabbed Harry's robes and forced him to look him in the eyes as he died. Harry had Lily's eyes! Wow! eek
I also loved it when Dumbledore asked if Snape were beginning to grow fond of Harry and Snape just said. Expecto Patronum. I could hear Richard Harris' voice in my head ask. " After all these years?" All though, I would have just had Snape say. " Still." But " Always" works.
I for one never suspected Snape of being in love with Lily. It makes a lot of sense now. I think he hated Harry for many reasons, but mainly because Lily's eyes in James' face reminded him of his own short comings. Along with the fact Harry could have been his child if he hadn't followed Voldemort who he realized cared for no one but himself. Harry reminded him that he made the wrong choice.
When Voldemort pursued Lily, Snape had told him that there probably better suited women for him, but he never married. Voldemort didn't seem to draw the connection. Hmm... I did.
I knew there was more to Severus Snape than met the eye. I figured that he killed Dumbledore on his orders, but the explaination was excellent. He didn't do it just for Dumbledore, but also to save Malfoy from harming his soul. The book never mentioned if Draco ever realized how many times he had been saved by those he often felt ilk for. Dumbledore, Harry, Snape...
All in all, I think J. K. Rowling did an excellent job on the whole series. I hope she doesn't keep her promise to not write anymore Potter books.
One other thing, I think if I had been an OOP member during Voldemort's reign, I would have gotten several other members not afraid to use the kadavra curse or sectumsempra and picked a location and said " Voldemort!" and blasted who ever popped in. Until Death Eaters were afraid to go see who mentioned his name. " Here's some death for you to eat!" lol

I bet you all anything James' middle name is Sirius. That is creepy!! Those things should skip generations not the next one. I'm named after my grandmother. Juni you are just like my BFF! She goes by her middle name though. I know this belongs in the off topic but why did you disappear? I'm tired but I'll post real replies soon

I'm tired but I'll post real replies soon Ah... bit of a relationship crisis actually that kept me away from this guild. I won't go into detail but lets just say I'm beginning to realize how difficult long distance relationships are, I thought I'd actually have time to dedicate to this place at the time, but then the circumstances proved me wrong... Sorry about dropping out of sight so quickly like that. I'll make sure I give plenty of warning before I end up disapparating for a month again o_o
...aaaand to keep this on topic, I agree with Jadams on the Snape thing. Snape's my second favorite character... second only to Luna Lovegood of course.
Speaking of which... how wacky a name is that one of her dad? Xenophilius... wizarding names can get so bizarre...

Maybe he wasn't loved enough as a child, and then when he got to Hogwarts people showed it but he didn't want it anymore. Souls: It's possible that Snape's soul was never ripped... It was a favor for a dying old man. So maybe that goes under remorse? An encyclopedia counts as a book, right? I want George's story! I still hate Percy the great big git. Your last comment: lol! I dont think the Order would use Dark Spells anyway.

Junimaia Corona Australis Altogether I loved the book but I hate that she killed a lot of great characters Mad-Eye, Hedwig, Dobby, Tonks, Lupin, and Fred. It all made me so mad and sad. They were all great characters so why did they have to die? I know it all just had to happen but Fred and Tonks were some of my favorite characters. I'm so sad about all the people that died but happy about what happened in the end and I loved how Harry named his kids. I hope J.K Rowling makes more books like about his kids or something. I know I DEFINITELY wanna know more about Albus Severus. He sounds like he's got an interesting future ahead of him.Another Series? Book 1 "Albus Severus Potter and the Grueling Notebook"

No, the Order probably wouldn't use dark spells. Still, you get large enough a force together, hide behind a few dustbins in an alleyway, say "Voldemort" and start going at them! Of course, capturing them wouldn't work as they don't have Azkaban or the ministry to hold them and the DE's can always press their marks to alert others to where they are, I suppose...drat. That's probably why the Order didn't use this strategy.
