I need a wig, to drop a few pounds, and get contacts, but I could and would cosplay L, if there was an anime convention close to here. The clothes are fairly easy and as for the barefoot thing... I wouldn't have to be barefoot all the time. In the manga, L wears white trainers, with the back's bent down, when he shows up at Light's college exams and college orientation.
I might have to bind my chest down a little. gonk Though I'm fairly small in that area, so maybe it wouldn't be too bad... redface

i cosplayed him once :3 it was fun and i was the only L there D: that i knew of...and i was walking around in a gravitation bag

Wow, I got amazing feedback on this topic... I didn't think I would...
I should have made it a poll, but there's already way too many.
I don't quite have L's height, so I'd be significantly shorter if I tried to slouch like he does. Yes... I'm 5 feet tall.

I don't have his body type, but I really want to. It would be easy since I have the wig and a pair of jeans, I'd just need a shirt and some makeup. However, I'm not as skinny, and being a girl...
And it would not be easy to bind myself, I don't even know how anyway.
...I'd pass off better as Misa.
It's times like these that I wish I was an Asian boy so I could pass off as anything. *grumbles*

My hair is already the right length.
I'll have to dye it though.
I could try to find the mask he used in the Movie...
The clothes, that's easy.
L is fairly easy to cosplay. Casual.

I could. My hair's the same length and same shade (well almost).
And then, it'd be easy to act like him...
The clothes, yeah...
Only problem would be, that i don't have the same bodytype. How long is he???? And I'm not skinny enough, have to lose weight if I'm ever going to cosplay L.

I'd love to cosplay Near sometime, but there aren't any conventions or anything where i live, I might do it for Halloween though.... Last year i went as Nina Sakura from ultra Maniac. I am cosplaying Near in the avi arena if anyone wants to vote for me........... wink

I can't really do it because I'm big but...  I can still L-glomp if I want to. heart I love this picture, I was so full of emotion when that happened so it's by far it's my fave picture of me ever. I loved that moment too, though I did feel slightly bad afterwards because of how I just ambushed the poor L like a ninja. ninja But this was one of the happiest moments of my life. Glomping a L cosplayer... Motenchu loved it though... probably more than I did (because I felt a bit guilty afterwards but he was still laughing). He later said on the second day "Your L won a prize". Eh heh... wow. I doubt that if I did have my own pet L cosplayer it would be afraid of me. It probably would've been the one that wanted to hug me after I hugged a Mello. I'll hug any and all Ls. Spread the love! XD

biggrin WIN! I luff you heart You did a good job, too! I'm gonna cosplay as L the first few days of school, I'll post pics afterward. (I might be L with red hair though, unless my mom lets me dye it - I have no way of getting a wig on time. sweatdrop )

I don't think I could ever pull of L, but some of my friends said I could make a good Mello so I went and bought an outfit XD
