((No, she doesn't. She hasn't been online for a couple of days, either.))
Sasuke held up his hands in surrender to Lee and the books. He went and sat back down seeing as his assistance wasn't needed any longer. He ran his finger of the spine of the book. He was sure he had seen the same book lying around his home when Itachi and himself were both younger. He frowned a little then looked over at Naruto, who seemed to be lost in some kind of fantasy. Then suddenly, the look was gone, replaced with a little blush. What was he thinking about? Probably Sakura. He probably missed her a lot even though she ended up hitting him a lot and fawning over himself. Sasuke shook his head. Sure, he liked her, but not like that. She had her annoying moments but she, Naruto and Kakashi were his family.
Sasuke shook his head a little and flipped open the cover of the book. He took out his pen and wrote in the little 'out' box, 'Sasuke Uchiha, condition good.' and put his pen down. He looked down the list of names of viewers and sure enough, his brother's name was scribbled at the bottom of the list. Sasuke grinned at the handwriting. Itachi had never really had penmanship as he did. Sasuke mentally shrugged and turned the page to the opening title. Knowing Itachi, he would probably want them to start reading now and give them some homework.
Shikamaru picked up the piece of paper and looked at the glittery red ink. 'Me, why me?' he thought. He ran his thumb across the word subconsciously and smeared the red ink. He frowned and looked at his thumb, sure enough there was a glittery red smear there. Great, now he would have to scrub it off until some moron decided to jump to conclusions. Or it got anywhere else. Shikamaru was just glade that he hadn't smeared it on his face. Would that be embarrassing or what? He flattened the paper and grabbed his pencil. He chewed on the edge pretending like this was one of the most difficult equations he had ever seen. Then he wrote two simple words.
'Why me?'

(Sorry... I didn't have a lot of time the last few post... sweatdrop I'll write more I promise!))
Now Lee had finally finished passing out the books and had given each person a smiles as he handed them the book. Each person grimanced as they took the book and received that smile. But Lee being the cheerful person he was didn't mind or didn't notice those looks. With the last copy of 'Romeo and Juilet' in hand, he took a seat in the back of the classroom with the others. He didn't admit it, but he had gotten pretty lonely all by himself in the fron of the classroom. Besides, he liked being with his friends and would help if they need it. Opening the cover, he grabbed a oen from his pocket and as Sasuke had done, wrote his name and the condtion of the book.
Looking around and watching his firends, Shino took a moment to study each of them. Sasuke seem to be a little unsettled. Probably the drawing. Shino smirked mentally as he remember the scene Haku had drawn. I thought it was quite good... Though not one of my usual fave pairings... Poor Sasuke. Then he saw Shikamaru and Haku [assing a note back and forth. Hmmm... Deciding not to comment, Shino just continued to watch as Shikamaru wrote back. He was curious and he wondered what haku would draw about him. If he got the idea.

Sasuke had learned to keep his senses about him and his senses told him that someone had been looking at him. He glanced out of the corner of his eye to see the Aburame boy slowly turning his head, most likely surveying the classroom. Why was he so intent on watching people? To get to know them more easily then actually talking to them and seeing them put up a front? Observation was also a good ninja skill. Sasuke looked away, thinking but keeping his face clear. 'And God knows where those bugs of his are. They could be watching our every move. Crap, now I am getting paranoid. Great. Just great. This is ridiculous. It isn't like Shino is plotting anything. . .Is he?' Sasuke mentally kicked himself for thinking those thoughts. Besides, if Shino was planning on pulling something out of his sleeve and destroying everything, he would just have to stop him, now wouldn't he? ((-coughSasukeisagodmoddercough-))
Sasuke then looked over to Lee. He leaned slightly so the other could hear him, "Have you ever read this book before?"

((Sasuke is paraniod. He should know that Shino is very anit-social. (Like me! x3)))
Lee, who had been reading the first page of the book, blinked and turned to face Sasuke. He had indeed read this book but it had ben a long time since then. A few years can make a difference in your memory of a book. "Well yes. But I read it a few years ago for a different English project and I can't quite remember all the parts..." Lee smiled. "Do you need any help? I'm quite happy to assist my fellow classmates and friends."

Haku blinked once again as the small piece of paper landed on his desk He read the words and sighed. He picked up his gel pen again and chewed on the end. He had managed to ignore the book Lee had place on desk until now. As he thought of his answer he figured he could look at it. Despite that fact that it had no boy on boy in it he still liked it and loved the pace of it. He had read it a few times when he was younger but not lately. His eyes skimmed a part and he grinned as he knew what to write back to Shikamaru.
For you are the sun. He wrote, giggling madly as he slipped it back to Shikamaru.

Sasuke grinned and shook his head. He knew Lee had probably already read the book. It seemed that was quite common in this classroom. He looked from Lee to his own book.
"No Lee, I don't need help. I was just curious. The language is a little old and this will probably have it's long drawls but I should be able to touch it out. Do you actually like reading these kinds of things? I mean, they can get kinda hard to follow. And it isn't very realistic." Sasuke paused, "But it is fiction so it doesn't have to be realistic. Oh! I'm just rambling now. Go ahead and read the book."
Sasuke could remember his brother reading this book out loud to him when he was a child, before he himself could read. This must have been one of his favorites.
Shikamaru wrote his name in the cover. He flipped through the book. It sure had seen better days. There were doodles and little side notes everywhere. Shikamaru flipped back to the front page. He might as well start reading. There wasn't anything else he could do and for once he wasn't tired. He remembered when his mother would go about the house spouting random quotes as a hint to his father that she wanted a romantic night out. He shook his head. Shikamaru was about to read the first line when he noticed that Haku had passed the note back. He put down the book and picked up the note, flipping it open with ease.
'For you are the sun.' Shikamaru reread that line at least seven times before he put the piece of paper down. Shikamaru looked over at Haku, his face tinting a light pink. He picked up his pencil and looked back at the note. He wrote;
'For I you are the sun? Quoting already, Haku? Let me see the sketch.' Shikamaru decided not to freak out over the line. He needed to remain calm, make Haku think that he wasn't playing a game.

((I swear I will bring Kiba in sometime soon. I swear it))
Haku was finishing the back ground for the outline of Shikamaru and sighed as the note was on his desk again. Take down you're hair and I might. But not until I'm done. He scribbled before placing the note on Shikamaru's desk again and starting to draw once more.
The outline of Shikamaru lay sprawled out on a bed and Haku was guessing at his hair length as he drew it around him like a halo. His hands, what you could see of them, seemed to be pulled a little so that they were tight compared to the rest of his outline. The sheets underneath and around him were rumbled while a shadow fell to his right side. What little of his face had been finished showed a little of pain and a little of pleasure.

(( OH MY GOD.
I'M SOOO SORRY YOU GUYS. ;-:
I've had an acting class for the past couple of days. Don't hate me! gonk ))
Itachi smirked as Shino spoke. "Really then?" he said, his cunning attitude playing in his voice like a cat and a ball of yarn. "Then you'll know how great of a book it is, won't you?" His eyes scanned the rest of the class, daring for aomebody else to speak against the book. It had, indeed, been one of his favorites growing up. The language was a little hard to understand at first, but he had loved history as a child, and was able to study and learn the languages of times long ago.
" Romeo and Juliet, as you all know, is about the romance of two young people: Juliet Capulet and Romeo Montague." Itachi gave a small smile. "During this story, it's hard to believe that Romeo and Juliet were only a little bit older then you all are, now." The man flipped through the pages of his own copy of the Shaspere book like it was a precious document as he continued. " Of course, the language is a bit hard to follow, but rest assured you'll get used it it."

Sasuke's attention snapped to Itachi when he finally started talking again. What the long silence was for, he had no idea. He held his finger in the book on the page he was on so he would lose his spot. He had read a couple more pages while he was waiting for Lee to say something or Itachi to assign something. He had been read the story at least three times when he was small, thanks to Itachi. He sighed. A romance story so early in the year. How many of these MALE students would still want to be here before they even finished the story? Probably Haku and himself. He despised the teacher, but the story was pretty good. 'Of course they will get used to it, if they want to pass this class, they will.' Sasuke thought. He flipped the book back open and looked down at the words in front of him. Well, he might as well get this over with.
Shikamaru looked up at Itachi when he spoke. He had almost forgotten that the teacher was in the room. He himself had never read the book before, just heard it being quoted by his mother. He almost chuckled at that memory but decided against it, seeing as they were in class. Shikamaru looked down and saw the note there again. He opened it and read. 'Let my hair down?' He thought. He could understand the waiting until it was finished, but why did everyone want to see what his hair looked like down? It wasn't anything special, it was hair for Pete's sake. He scrawled, 'Why do you want to see my hair down so badly?'

Lee cocked his head to the side and nodded. "If you don't want help.... But I find the language very easy to understand. It actually isn't that differnt from our english that we use today." Then Lee gave Sasuke one last smile before burying his nose in his book.
Shino frowned when the teacher singled him out. He sent a glare Itachi's way before reluctenty scanning his eyes ove rthe first few words. This is so boring. I'd rather be disecting a rat. Sighing, he saw the not between Haku and Shikamaru. Shikamaru had made aweird face and surpressed what seemed to be a blush before writing down a few words.

((Combining Time Skip Sasuke with younger Sasuke is kinda difficult. I'm trying to mash their personalities because it wouldn't be very fun if Sasuke just went around killing things. Or doing nothing. >.<))
Sasuke glanced back at Lee then back to his book. Something about Lee just really pissed him off. It was probably the fact that he was happy practically all the time. And he had kicked his a** once. But that would never happen again, no. It wouldn't. Never by one of the level of Lee. If he did, then that told him that he was as weak as ever. He couldn't wait until training. His muscles were screaming for a fight. They were aching to be used. They were aching to...to.. Sasuke shook his head. He wanted to beat something and beat it hard. He had been couped up for a couple of days now. None of the teachers would let the students out of their dorms until things were situated in the school and Sasuke was starting to go stir crazy. Haku of all people would be one to know that.
FLASHBACK
Sasuke was pacing back and forth in the room. The window was taunting him, showing him the dying sunlight casting it's beams across the floor. He stopped and just stared at them. He started walking towards the window. He could feel Haku's eyes following him as he walked. He reached the window and reached for the beams of light. He grabbed onto the window sill and was about to pull himself up when he felt Haku's amazingly strong arms wrap around his waist. Then something happened. Something inside Sasuke snapped.
"No! I need it. Let me out, LET ME OUT! Get me out of here! God dammit, let me out." He was kicking and screaming but Haku held firmly to the other male, even though it earned him a couple of bruises, "Let me go! LET ME OUT! I need it. GIVE IT TO ME!" at this point, Sasuke was screaming hysterically and Haku was sure everyone and their mother could hear him screaming. But he said nothing. He just held the boy in his place, taking the blows. Sasuke was strong, but too out of it to be able to get out of Haku's grasp. Soon, the boy went limp in Haku's arms. He shoulders started shaking and he started rocking.
"They're trying to kill me, Haku. Keeping me couped up like a canary in a cage. I want to fly. I want to fly." he had choked.
END FLASHBACK
Sasuke dropped his book and shook his head. He blinked a couple of times. He really just wanted to forget it. It seemed like he was an entirely different person, like he wasn't in control anymore when those things happened. He looked over at Haku. If you had looked at his shins and under his sleeves, he was sure you could see the bruises that Sasuke had given him. He looked away and back at his book. He stared but didn't read. He didn't really feel like reading anymore. He looked to the window. He just wanted to get out.
((Woo! Crazy Sasuke. I have no idea where that came from or why I wrote it, I just did. ))

((That can be frustrating.))
Shino had seen Sasuke stiffen and drop his book. The he seem to go into a trance and have some sort of fit. Glancing at Lee, he saw the the grren clad ninja had also seen this. He himself didn't want to scare Sasuke but was concerned about his behavior. "Hey Sasuke? Are you alright? You went all stiff."
Lee's eye's shone with concern for his rival, even if he ahd previously beaten him and soundly at that. Sasuke had always been an odd kid. No parents and he had that emo personality all the tim. "Yes Sasuke-chan. You don't seem to be quite yourself today."

Sasuke had been gazing out the window. He thought about the fresh air, the breeze that was shifting the trees he could see, the open space he could do just about anything in, the blue sky in which he could dream of flying. On the outside, looking in at Sasuke, he looked like he was gonna lose it. Again. That could only mean one thing, not good. He heard someone calling his name, but they seemed so far away. Then he heard another voice join in. They were calling to him, part of Sasuke refused to let them take him away from the beautiful sky. His muscles twitched to run, to spar, to breathe, to get out of this prison where he was with the one he disliked so greatly. Another part refused to snap again. Having Haku see that was enough. He didn't need to hole population of the classroom watch him as he went insane. He snapped his vision away from the window and over to the two males that were looking at him. His breath was a little short and, if you looked close enough, you would see a gleam of something...almost not human. He blinked and the gleam shifted farther away, although it was still there. He looked back down at his desk.
"I'm just not feeling very well. I'm getting a little stir crazy, you know? I mean, it's so nice outside and we haven't been out there is a couple of days. It's almost beckoning to me." Sasuke shook his head, "I just need some fresh air." Okay, this wasn't good. Sasuke held his hands, fingers intertwined, and he clutched them. Control. He needed control. He could do it. He knew he could. He looked back up at Rock Lee and Shino. They both looked so concerned. Rock Lee was staring at him, emotion evident and Shino's brow was furrowed. Was it that evident in his features?
