Zell----Dincht "Hey thats mean. It's not my fault that I fell asleep. Blame my health. Since my powers have gone out of control I'm usually always sick and tired." He turned to look at the blue sky. "I haven't used my powers in months. I used to use them for common everydays thigs like cleaning but now I don't know if I will cause a tornado or huricanne." Asiago turned back towards her and said, "I ahven't got your name yet."
Elwen slowly nodded. "Sick and tired." she repeated. "All the time, or does it happen at any particular moments. And I am Elwen Lesli." she knew that being insulting wasn't really the best method to get information. "Please." she said. "I just want to understand what's happening to all of us. So I would like to know what's happening to you."

Shania hugged Ki close to her as he passed by then chuckled as he quickly dashed to the next person. She noted with a smile that he would make the perfect ice breaker when needed. She watched as he went from Ellryna and a moment later was hugging Aoi. She was worried about how Inanise might feel about suddenly being attacked in one of Ki's hugs. But instead...Ki lingered by Aoi. Shania narrowed her eyes, sensing something was wrong. "Ki." she said, stepping forward.
(lol, alright. I just partly wanted to see Aoi's response. Here's a little something though. Going out to lunch with my boyfriend, then taking my comp to his house. I'll prolly get on while he and I game. xd ))

((Hehe. I can't wait to see what Aoi's reaction too. Being hugged for no mundane reason, then being smashed with energy that Ki doesn't use. That makes an interesting twist! I wonder if our characters will ever eat! Oh no. lol
P.S. Do you want to make an OOC thread? It might be easier then posting everything in this thread. Though I don't know how many people use FireFox, or another browser that lets them make tabs so they can easily switch between an OOC thread and this one.)) ((Postscript P.S. How about this color, teal, for my posts?))

((Sounds like a good idea. I'll go do that now. xd New to the guild though. Not sure where that type of thing would go. So I'll have to poke/ask around. And I know, I'm looking forward to the reaction too. That was an excellent idea. And the teal or grey is fine with me.))

((For one, you didn't even use the correct Character Template. Two, you are using asterisks and not writing in paragraph format (it isn't a rule, but this is an advanced roleplay (I believe) and so we can assume the advanced rules apply). Three, your character profiles aren't posted in the correct place. Four, you haven't waited to be approved by Patchwork Emotions.
You probably should delete your post here and go get the Character Template, create your characters, include more information in the character profile (as in more stuff about their history, etc.), post it in the correct place, wait to be accepted, and then make your post.
P.S. I'm not trying to be rude.
Sorry Patchwork Emotions if I'm over stepping my role, I just thought I would let him know.))

Ellryna continued on inside towards the kitchen and continued on the cooking, and getting busier to make more food. "You children make yourselves at home." she told them from the kitchen as she busied herself.
The inside of the house was roomy, the furniture arranged in such a way that was tasteful, functional and at the same time making good use of the space. The living room was large enough to accomodate all four people comfortably, including the tall Aoi. Simple decorations accented the small coffee table in the middle of two sofas. Pictures of various size, age and dimension were hung on the wall, depicting the story of this little family that was composed of the parents and three children, Aoi being the eldest.
"Ahh... feels good to be back." he said as he stepped inside. "This is my house Inanise, how do you like it?"
Inanise looked at the quaint surroundings and felt the cozy atmosphere. "It's beautiful." she told him with a small smile.
Aoi laughed and ushered his guests to take a seat. He watched as the hyper Ki bounced off the walls, reading then hugging various people. Inanise scurried closer to Aoi when Ki started to hug Shania and seemed intent on hugging everyone else, hoping that Aoi would stop Ki from hugging her. Aoi understood this upon seeing her reaction and was going to make Ki stop right when Ki reached him.
The tall man was smiling brightly as he was about to ruffle Ki's hair when he hugged him, however, as soon as their skins touched, a surge of energy flowed into him and he immediately recognized the water elemental that resided within Ki. Electric pain travelled up and down Aoi's body and threatened to drown him with power.
He may be a Seer, but a body could only take so much.
Tension filled the air for the few seconds that their skins touched, and Aoi struggled to keep the surging power within him in check. "Ki..." he said through gritted teeth. He had to push Ki away, but the surge of power made even the simplest of actions difficult to do.
Inanise felt the union of energies between the two and she was holding her throat, feeling a sense of being drowned underwater the moment the two touched. Sensing danger, Inanise made no second thoughts when she made a pushing gesture towards Ki, using her Void abilites to create space between Ki and Aoi, and pushing the young man towards the sofa. Inanise lowered her hand, then looked to Aoi.
"Are you alright?"
Aoi caught his breath, looking seriously at Ki. He closed his eyes and breathed, sealing a majority of his power within himself, to try and lessen the burden on his body should they touch again. Once he opened his eyes, he was smiling once more, as if nothing happened. "A Water Thaumaturgist eh?" he said, chuckling at Ki. "You learn something new everyday." He then turned to face Shania. "You ought to train him. Elementals look bad enough in the surface as it is, we don't want stuff like that happening in public."
Ice blue eyes caught Inanise's gray ones and for a moment there was silence between them. Aoi placed his hand on her head and patted her. "I feel great. Thanks, Inanise." The tall man faced his two guests once more and smiled. "Well, that was something, wasn't it?" he chuckled.
Inanise only looked at the two people, and kept an eye out on the one called Ki. She understood little as to why he could not contain his power, thinking that everyone was trained as diligently as she was, by a master like Old Inshi. But Old Inshi also said that not everyone is the same... she thought, remembering what the old man taught her.

Ki hadn't realized what happened. It seemed right when the hug took place his mind was wiped from then until the release. "So... why is everyone just standing around?" Ki inquired rubbing his eyes and yawning. He seemed to have become rather tired after that little ordeal.
When he heard something about training him in elemental or something along those lines he quickly snapped and became rather supercilious. "NO NO NO!!!" he blared like a siren, "I won't never ever ever use my powers! NO!" For a second he glared at Aoi, then noticed Ellryna and relaxed for a second. He sprawled onto a couch then looked at Shania.
"Shan-Shan!" he whined again, "I'm tired!"
Quickly he leaped from the couch and snuggled close to her. Or that is what he wished to have happened, but as soon as he got up and began moving toward her, he tripped and fell.
"Argh," he called, "just my luck!"
For some reason Ki felt irritable and groggy. He just wanted to yell at someone. He didn't know why, but it seemed as if he had just woke up from a long sleep with a lack of energy. Up he went and then stomped over to Shania. His temper now on a very short fuse when it is usually on quite a long one. Anything could set him off now. Arms slithered around Shania's waist as he got behind her and hid his face in her back then moaned and whined. After his little tantrum he fell silent and let their new friends talk.

"I'm sorry, I meant no offense, Ki." he told the young man. "You at least need to keep it in check." he said politely. The matter of being an elemental was definately a sensitive one, and he felt that he should not pry.
"Aoi! Come and help me set the table!" Ellryna shouted from the kitchen, followed by the clanging of plates.
Aoi turned towards them and excused himself, then looked at Inanise. "Please stay here." he told her, causing some panic to fill Inanise's eyes. "Don't worry, you'll be fine." he told her reassuringly. Without another word, he left to help his mother.
Inanise looked quietly at the two, then to Ki. She felt bad for thinking the way she did, especially after seeing how he reacted to what Aoi said. "I'm sorry..." Inanise said soflty, walking shyly closer to Ki.

Shania twisted slightly and pulled Ki to her side. She ran her fingers through his hair and smiled down affectionately. "I imagine it was whetever you were up to while I was in the meeting." she replied gently, then glanced at Aoi. 'Later' she mouthed above Ki's head, as she dropped her other hand to rub his back. Then watched Aoi turn to leave as his mother called him. She smiled at the nervous Inanise. "How long have you and Aoi known each other?" she asked, choosing what she hoped was a comfortable subject.

Inanise stayed standing, not wanting to sit. "for...a year, I suppose." she said, looking away. She was still fully cloaked and covered, the only thing that could be seen of her was her pale face and hands. "He's really a nice person." she said, hoping that Ki would be consoled. She would do something for him, but she was unsure about both of them and did not want to do anything to upset the young man further.
