"That you did .... " Once the rain was light enough that she wasn't worried for her wings she stepped out of the alcove and leaned down to take a drink from a small pool that had gathered in the rocks.
"Though ..." She looked at him and smiled slightly. "I do say you still could have spared yourself the soaking"

"You have seen to it that I have survived far worse, Kochu'Akai... I think I would have some problems on hand if I could not weather a storm." He nodded slowly as he moved closer to her. "Where will you go now that it is over?"

"The spirits that govern weather are far harsher than any of our kind. I would fear them more than the injuries i help you with." She shook her wings off and turned her head to make sure they were alright.
"I suppose i shall return to wandering." She hadn't found anywhere to call home yet and she knew she couldn't just give up looking.

He took a deep breath, enjoying the scent that the rain left lingering behind. Fresh, new... Things yet to come before fall overcame the land. He turned his head back towards the mare after a moment. "... You are always welcome here, Kochu'Akai. Remember that if you ever grow weary of your wanderings."
