she had been the one he had originally hired. she was the one who convinced the others to come along aswell

Nebride sat far enough away from the crowd so they did not disturb her as she watched Togan practice with the wooden swords. "Hmm, not half bad," she thought to herself. "With more than one trainer he could indeed be great."
"Um, Nebride?"
Nebride looked up. "Yeah---what do you want?"
Grael looked at her nervously. "Thanks for stepping in when you did. My son---he does not always know when to keep his mouth shut."
Nebride shook her head. "Boys will be boys. My brother---" she clamped her mouth shut. "Never mind. Is that all that you wanted?"
"Well...um....Yeah." He quickly walked away.
Nebride watched through narrowed eyes. "Maybe it would have been best if I did not join this rag-bag group of mercs. I'm just being slowed down." She sighed and took a swig of her own tea. "Oh, well...this is sure to be an interesting trip."

i sat quietly in a tree, whatching the fire of dance from below. quite a lovely sight. but i was destracted by the sound of wood on wood. i switched my gaze to see a boy amaturely flinging 2 wooden swords at a tree he sure seems determined i thought. it was rather interesting to watch.

he knew he was being watched by the villagers but he couldnt shake the feeling someone else was too.
thats when he saw her in hte tree
she to was quite pretty. but he had learnt his lesson and be a little more discrete this time.

jeez. he could have at least said it nicely. "more like staring off into space." so what if it was a lie? i don't want to admit that i was impressed by a human. way too embarasing.
