Leilani nudged him with her muzzle once he caught up. "I was wondering how long it would take you..." She offered a cheeky smile. "...do you still play or are you too grown up for that?"

He nudged her back and then nipped at her mane. "Well I am not as small as you are and there for can't go that fast through that much brush!" he exclaimed. Being a big like his father wasn't always a great thing. "And yes I still play. I am not some old fart with a stick up my arse." he said and nipped again at her mane before bounding off.

"HEY!" Leilani snorted, only a little miffed. At least he liked to play, most grown up boys didn't. The young mare darted off after him. "What are we playing anyway!?"

"Well the only thing I know of is tag! And I already tagged you so your it!" he called back to her as she splashed through the creek. The water felt cool and refreshing as it splashed over his pink coat.

"OH. But...you cheated!" Leilani huffed, but still didn't stop running after him. Cheated or not he was willing to go along with her childish request. "I'll get you!" She went into the creek after him.

Being the proud stallion like his father, he momentarily stopped when she said he had cheated. He may not be too proud of his coat but he was proud of his word. "I did not cheat!" he pouted in protest, forgetting that they were playing a game of tag and that he just made himself an easy target.

Leilani giggled, his little protest giving her a good chance to catch up to him. The larger stallion had a good advantage in the water because of longer legs. She got got close enough to nudge his flank.
"Your it!" Then the little mare took off in the other direction.

Rhapsody stood there in a daze at what had just happened. She had tricked him! "HEY! That's not fair! You distracted me!" he protested again and began to chase after her now, splashing through the creek.

"Nana! Nana! You can't catch me!" After another few moments, Leilani was up on the river bank and paused for a moment to look back and see how close the stallion was.

Rhapsody chased after her as she taunted him. He came after her, clumsily coming up over the muddy river bank, to which lead him to slip and fall a bit. It took him a couple tries before he got up it. Being big was again not always a good thing. He stood there muddy and soaked with a mischievious grin on his face. "Better start running or I will catch ya!" he called to her before charging towards her.

"You okay, Rhap-?!" Leilani took off again, the obvious answer to her question being yes. The pink stallion was indeed alright and coming after her. She bolted into the water again, with the intention of crossing to the other side.

Rhapsody gave a huff and headed yet again back into the water. What was she trying to do? Make him even more dirty? If she went up the bank again he would have to change his game plan. "I'm right behind ya!" he called out cheerfuly.

Leilani ran a ways up the creek before starting to climb the bank again. "I noticed!" It was a little more difficult this time to due mud. Great. He'll probably catch me now!

Rhapsody pumped his legs harder as he saw her try to climb the bank again. Only this time she was having trouble instead of him. Nows my chance! he thought as he came up behind her.

Leilani actually slipped and almost fell back into the creek and let out a loud whinny of suprise. The little mare did manage to catch herself, but not before getting a bit dirty herself.
