i wouldn't pick anything under a quarter up from the ground. anything under that i always seem too loose anyway sweatdrop

If I notice it, then it really depends on if I'm too lazy (at that moment) to bend and pick it up. But 9 times out of 10, I wouldn't bother.

If I see any type of change on the ground, I pick it up. It's paid off before. One time, I found a dollar bill at the bottom of the shallow end in the public pool.

If I see a penny, and it's head side up; I pick it up. Then it usually stays in my pocket and then gets lost in the laundry. D:
If I see anything larger than a penny, I pick it up regardless. xD;

I pick them up randomly, if I feel like it.
Most of the time, heads up. And the other times I pick them up,
then throw them down again.
