"Uuuuugh....." Stephanie groaned, haunched over in pain after biting onto her own hand. Her ears perked up in realization as she heard Soul explain that it was possible she might actually have bitten herself in her sleep. "Grrrrrrgh......you're....probably right...." She growled angrily, all of which was focused on herself for being an impulsive idiot. As she began to straighten herself up, straining every muscle to lift itself, even though they conciously knew it was only to feel more pain, she suddenly just stood up. No muss, no fuss, not even a sign of any kind of injury. She looked around in confusion, looking in every direction, until she felt an odd sensation on her hands. It was a warm, soothing feeling....as if they were being dipped in hot water. As she looked down at her hands, she saw them both envelloped in a golden light. "Kya!" She yelped, quickly seperating the two from eachother. But as she looked at both of them, mouth slightly agape, she noticed nothing wrong with either of them. Not a hair out of place, not a scratch or cut, only the remanents of blood on her left hand. She stared at them, oblivous to what had just occured. "No cuts...no bruises......no...."
"Wait a minute!! Wha-! What the heck!? How did.....how did that-!?" She grabbed hold of her hand, and stared at it in panic.
Unable to find any answer to what she just did, or what she thought she did, she instinctivly held onto her necklace. (It was a sort of security thing that seemed to calm her down.) As she felt it's surface, she suddenly found the connection. "The necklace....!" She took off her hat so that it would be able to pass the ears, then took the necklace off from around her neck. Looking at it with a critical eye, she saw the same golden glow seem to emenate from it. With a small gasp, she remembered the words of Tikal. "T-Tikal! She said th-that I had a caring personality....a-and she said that I could heal others and m-myself with this!" Stephanie held up her necklace, not seeming to be worried about getting over herself. With a swift motion, she shoved her beanie into her pocket, threw her necklace back around her neck, and ran up to Soul. "Alright, let's just get this over with." She said quickly, stiffening up her shoulders and bracing for impact.

Stephanie gave a small sigh, realizing Soul wasn't going to smack her after all. Though it would have woken her up alright, she'd probably be regretting it later. But as she relaxed, and he turned slightly, she suddenly saw a fist flying towrds her. Only having time to squeeze her eyes shut, she braced for impact, only to feel a pressured tap on her forhead. Having the horrible balance that she had, it caused her to fall straight onto her rear, and to the ground. At the first moment, there was nothing but silence, and a bewildered look on her face. Then, a split second later, she was cracking up, laughing happily about her own instability to stand up straight. Leaning back a bit, and using both her arms for balance, she looked up at Soul and gave a chuckle. "Well, I guess that takes care of that."
With a small lurch forward, she bent her legs slightly, lifted her left hand, and pushed off with her right. It was a bit of an akward straint, but it got her off the ground. Wiping her pants of dirt and such, she stood before everyone and gave a faint smile. "Oh, it's ok Soul...uh.....you were just....you know.....trying to get to the bottom...of stuff..." Stephanie said, seeming to take a prolonged breath between each pause. "And now I'm just.......standing here........realizing that.....now.......IIIII'm in the Sonic universe....alone.....aaaaand boy I'm light headed." She said, placing a hand on her head. Though she was standing, her body swayed slightly, as if the entire room was spinning.

Jessica had been spacing off for a moment *Due to inability to reach a computer* and so doesnt really react towards what had happened just yet. She was thinking about something that was said.

"Belive it without hesitation?" She looked down at the ground, though in truth she was in deep though. Her normal life wasnt anything special. infact it was downright boring, and somewhat depressing. Nothing really exciting, nor did it look like she was going anywhere anytime soon. Looking up, a serious expression on her face, she shrugs.

"I....I guess I dont really have a problem with it because I would prefer something like this. Its not that being.....what I was before was horrible. It just wasnt....exciting. This is new, diffrent. Unpredictable. I always wanted something like this to happen."

Then she notices Stephanie prancing about with a wounded hand a winces. At the same time, her mind registers something said earlier.

"Tikal? Oh ya. I saw her. She gave me this." Lifting her chin up a tiny bit, she motions to the Stone embedded at the base of her neck.

((That was inner description, there, Lea. I didn't actually say it.))

"I can't see how a stone can have any significance if it's stuck in your neck." Soul said, shaking his head. "I don't believe ow your not, like, bleeding out and stuff. But I gotta ask, what is with this Tikal stuff? I didn't see anything or hear anything about Tikal this entire time I've been stuck in this universe, and suddenly you people pop outta no where..." He trailed, trying to gather his thoughts. After a considerable silence, he continued, "With little objects on your person. I mean, you got a gold necklace and you got a stone stuck in your throat... No offense, but hers is way better." He said, pointing toward Stephanie with his thumb.

Soul turned to Stephenie. "Six months to the day." He said, not even thinking it over. "It's pretty easy to remember, considering the only thing I've got to remember now is that and my birthday." He said. She had also asked about Tikal, which was laying on his mind. The thought about it made him feel out of place among the three. "Well, if I knew why, I'd tell you, but I don't. Besides, I'm sorta glad, considering I may get a stone stuck in my throat." He looked over to Jessica. "I'm sorry, it's just creepy."

Stephanie opened her mouth, trying to apologize for being a bit of a show-off with her necklace, but Jessica turned away. With a deep sigh, Stephanie turned to Soul, and further pondered his comment about how long ago he got there. "Six months ago?" She asked, scratching her chin. "Hm.....weird.....that's how long- Nah.....must be a coincidence...." She said, remembering Fallen and Kayke had been complainting about their dear "commander" sherking off his duties in the guild latley. Stephanie remembered she had asked a pissed off Kayke how long he was gone, and she had replied, "A ****n' half a year!!!" But....could this Soul.....be the same Soul.....? Could their name truly be that much of a coinsidence...?
